Bacon, egg, and cheese on gluten free bread w/ hair

I usually just come here for the packaged gluten free donuts. This time I decided to try one of their breakfast items and got a bacon, egg, and cheese on gluten free bread. As soon as I opened my food I noticed a bunch of little white hairs all over my sandwich as if it were dropped on the ground and put back together or something. There was hair covering all of my sandwich from everything in it to the bread. Disgusted and highly disappointed. Very unsanitary especially for a bacon egg and cheese that costs $10.

My son and I had been meaning to stop by here ever since we saw that they were finally open for business. Cute atmosphere and really fun flavor options. We opted for a few donuts to try. They were a bit oily, but overall full of flavor and quite large.

This was my first visit to Branford beach donut. I immediately took pictures to capture the quaint and quiet atmosphere as we were the only two for a short time in the shop. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich. He added bacon and sausage. You get a free donut with purchase of a breakfast sandwich. My husband chose the highly popular sugar glazed jelly donut. I got the cinnamon sugar jelly donut and a vanilla frosted with sorinkles. Beach donut has vegan and gluten free donut options! The pictures don't do the location justice! There are so many delicious items. It's a very cute and open location. I loved the hot sauce choices by the windows. The ketchup and Mayo packets in a skull holder made me laugh! The donut signs added a great level of comfort to the site. My husband and I really wanted to get the fritter for the size alone! We texted a friend we found poppyseed horns as she has been looking for them. The muffins, brownies, and coffee cake also looked amazing. The service was quick and organized. My husband loved his sandwich. He said we'd be here daily if we lived closer. We will visit again! 5 stars!

OMG these are the best donuts that I ever ate. The non filled donuts are more like a cake with a crunchy outside. They have a variety of these donuts and all of them have a flavor that matches the donut. My favorite was the cinnamon. The filled donuts were soft and well filled. They were very good, but I liked the uniqueness's of the non filled donuts. Once you have their donuts, you will not go back to the chain store donuts . They have so many different donuts to choose from. Plenty of off street parking and a friendly staff.

What a great little place. The breakfast sandwiches are freshly made and terrific. I had an egg and cheese on a salt bagel and it was great- plus I got a free doughnut which I normally would not buy- and it was super fresh and flavorful. I washed both down with excellent iced coffee- with coffee ice cubes! No dilution here! The place is cheery, pleasant and clean. A long counter and stools provide seating if you want to eat in. Recommended.

Breakfast tostada- refried beans, cheese, eggs, avocado, and salsa. Would have love to get an extra side of salsa.

Stopped here for the first time on a Saturday morning and were very pleasantly surprised with the selections offered- not only a wide variety of delicious homemade donuts but a lot of breakfast options as well like sandwiches, tostadas, pasties, bagels. I really enjoyed the pumpkin donut, chocolate glazed donut holes, and vanilla frosted donuts. The apple cider donut was a little on the dry side. I got the breakfast tostada and it was HUGE and very good. My husband got a sandwich that had turkey, eggs, and avocado- also huge. We will definitely be back to try more menu items. You also get a free donut with every breakfast sandwich purchase which was a nice touch. Staff was very friendly but the service was a little slow.. maybe a combination of busy Saturday morning and just a few staff members. You can eat inside if you want at a little breakfast bar but mostly seems like a to- Go place. The inside was decorated cute and very clean!

Branford is excited to have Beach donut snack! The donuts are delicious fresh and fluffy! If your looking for breakfast sandwiches, they are available too! I personally enjoy their ice coffee with coffee ice cubes and the fresh pressed orange juice is a must! The inside is cute with a few chairs to sit at but I would say this is mostly a take out spot. The owners are great! Very friendly and accommodating and they also offer vegan donut options as well!

Great donuts and egg sandwiches! Would've been five stars if you can order online. No one wants to call in orders.

Sitting by the water gives the restaurant a laid back, summer seafood spot feel that makes it easy to enjoy your time there. That said, if you're looking for a restaurant with a wide variety of seafood options or more creative seafood preparations, this probably isn't the place to go. We started with the chips and guacamole appetizer, which tasted good, but the portion size was pretty small for the price. The raw little neck clams were one of the highlights of the meal, very fresh, clean tasting, and exactly what you'd want from a seafood spot. For entrées, the cod sandwich was surprisingly solid. It was a nice size, fairly priced, and felt like one of the better values on the menu. The ahi tuna wrap was also good overall, but it felt like it was missing a stronger or more flavorful dressing to really bring everything together. The lobster roll was decent, but for the price, there simply wasn't enough lobster in it to justify the cost. Overall, there were definitely some enjoyable parts of the meal, especially the fresh shellfish and the waterfront atmosphere. The biggest downside was the pacing of service, as there were long waits between dishes throughout the meal. Still, for a casual waterfront stop with straightforward seafood options, Nellie's delivers a decent experience.

It was between here and Home and I had been there before so we came here. It's the old Tiki bar across from the Mexican place. Same as tiki bar...small place. Not many tables and it was freezing inside so we moved out to the patio. Not much warmer....Whatsoever. There were doors open that didn't close properly and it was pouring outside. I said to myself it is what it is. Ordered the Insalada di Roma to start. Eh. Overpowering garlic taste. Got the lobster roll and man got the Thai Fighter Burger. My lobster was tasty as all lobster is. I can't do gluten and they don't offer gluten free buns so I just ate the lobster meat and fries. The butter on the lobster was very different. Thick. Corn buerre blanc sauce. I still don't know how I feel about it but to me lobster doesn't need a thick sauce on it. Also, it said MP on the menu upon arrival but online one menu said $34 and their actual website said $40. It was $52 tonight. Are you EFFING KIDDING ME?! Never in my life have I seen a lobster roll be $52. This place has no business charging that. We go out to eat all the time to very nice places and have never paid that. It wasn't even a large roll!!! Average. I went to use the bathroom and it had an Out of order sign on the door. I had to go so I used it anyway. Door didn't shut. Prayed no one would try to come in. My hair stinks hours later of fried food. Gross. For almost $200...would not come back.

I originally planned to sit at the bar since I was dining solo, but it was packed for happy hour (always a good sign). I ended up in the dining room instead, and honestly, it worked out great. Service was quick and attentive from the start. My server, Christina, checked in on me several times without being overbearing, and I really appreciated how often my water was refilled especially since I skipped alcohol this visit. For food, I went all in: a dozen oysters, bang bang shrimp bao buns, and salmon sushi rolls. I finished with the crème brûlée cheesecake (which I already knew I loved from their sister restaurant). Standouts for me were the oysters, the bao buns, and that cheesecake absolutely delicious. The sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful, just a bit oversized for that perfect bite. Overall, a great experience with solid food and attentive service. I'll definitely be back maybe next time I'll snag a bar seat!
