Smashin Burgers located at 235 W 3rd Street in Jackson, Ga. Is the most disappointing burger…read moreestablishment I've been to in a while.
When you pull up , parking is limited. There's door leading to the kitchen on the side of the building that's always propped open that's literally two feet from the dumpster which is literally in the "parking lot".
Walking into the building, you don't get greeted or welcomed. The bathrooms are out of order. The entire staff is ran by teenagers and/extremely young adults.
The time it took between placing an order and getting my order was nearly 45mins and there was only 1 other person there. The prices are ridiculous! For 2 , 2 , 2 it was $33.13! CRAZY but that's not all..
Once we got our food, drove all the way home, got comfortable and ready to eat our $33 burgers, we open up our bag only to find that we have someone else's order. Yup how hard is it to match the order to the name you took when I PLACED MY ORDER????
Now, we are hangry! We call up there and explain the situation and this kid says all bubbly, " oh yeah, we have your food up here" um "we aren't driving 30mins back into town now, I want a refund." This dude hangs up on us not once, not twice, BUT 3x!! And here's what's worse, he DOES NOT even know his manager's name! Like how do you work there and don't even know your manager??
Now, I will give props, hubby reached out to the restaurants page, the owner responded, gave a refund plus remade our meal whenever we were ready to get it. That's was the ONLY positive feedback I can give. SO, we did at least give the food a try. Ughhh... so, let me tell you about that the best I can.. here goes:
The food tasted like a text message from an ex--cold , disappointing, and full of bad decisions. The only thing flat-grilled here was the employee's enthusiasm. I've seen healthier, less oily options at a Jiffy Lube, and the mechanics there probably smile more than this staff did.
So, to wrap this review up, if you want an actual good , good customer service , and food that you don't have to sell your soul to the devil for then don't go to Smashin Burger.
My advice to Smashin Burger and Staff:
" If you guys put half as much effort into cooking and customer service as you do into giving attitude and those TikTok videos , you'd have a Michelin star by now."
I'm sure I am not the only local that feels this way.
**EDIT TO ADD:**
Thank You for your prompt response Vincent, I only wished the service was as swift. However, unsure if you've came across my Facebook post which basically states the same review, but also states my reasoning for a review. Basically, because you have children representing your establishment on social media platforms, when a customer comments their opinion of the food and such and it gets deleted, it's like you have something to hide for one and two, you don't care what feedback locals actually have to give about your company. Have you even seen your company's TikTok? Kind of unprofessional and unrelated to hamburgers.. but . I wish you success nevertheless Mr.Vincent, just shouldn't delete customers true opinions because it makes you look bad!
