We arrived between lunch and dinner hours, wasn't sure if they were open. But oh they were! Grace was there to help explain the menu and many options. We decided on a single patty smashburger with mayo, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and mustard. We added aside order of amazing onion rings. Then as another meal we ordered the Loaded Smash Fries. OMG... these were amazing too! They start with crinkle cut fries with 2 hamburger patties, grilled onions, pickles, cheese and there special sauce! This was a meal within its self. There's so many options to add on like grilled jalapeños. Which we did but on the side for one of us. If you are ever in Jackson, GA. Stop in for the old fashion homemade hamburger and hotdogs style meal with great prices and huge portions. Oh yeah... the Ice cream and shakes... can't forget them! I got a jala smash burger but it was jala soggy! Onion rings were just way too greasy to enjoy. The lid from the sauce that comes with it was melted since it was placed inside the carton with the hot onion rings. Not coming back! $27 down the drain read more

Saw this place on our way to Indian Springs and decided to stop by on our way back home. We weren't disappointed. Service was great: friendly and helpful, and the food was hot and arrived quickly. The burgers were perfectly cooked and delicious! We shared the fries, onion rings, and fried pickles. Onion rings and pickles were perfectly battered, and we enjoyed all three of our sides. They had several milkshake/ice cream options, but we were were full. You walk up to the counter to order, and your food is brought to the table. The atmosphere was fun. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Today, the windows were open with fans going. We loved the nice breeze and the ability to enjoy the outdoors without being directly in the heat. The place was clean. Definitely plan to return! read more

I'm giving three stars because I support small business and I'm hopeful once they get into a flow things will settle and tweaks will be made. This area needs more food spots that aren't food chains! With that said, it was a little rocky in execution...cashier was a little tense and unsure with the number of people there for lunch and her assigned tasks. Someone came in to pick up a Door Dash order-they hadn't even turned on the tablet for DD and the driver had to wait for the order to be entered AND made. Food came out fairly quickly given the people in there waiting for their orders as well, so that was a plus. The buns were soft and would hold up against a nice piled high grease burger, but these patties lacked enough fat like classic smash burgers should-so it was a little dry. They were also under seasoned-could have used some season salt or maybe the griddle just needs time to be seasoned more? Either way it needs something more. Veg-Lettuce was a little on the wilted side and the tomatoes were under ripe...not really the kitchens fault, but it still kind of is. Leave the unripe tomatoes for them to ripen a little before you use them. The pickles were a nice variety-they were a mash up of dill/bread butter-nice choice. Chicken Sandwich-The chicken tender needs to change, this tender is on the cheaper side of food service selections and kills the vibe. Buffalo/ranch sauce was good...but please get another tender! Mozza sticks were tasty and the onion rings were too...sauce for the rings is a bbq/mayo mash up. Food was horrible. We ordered three burgers and they were all dry and tasteless. Almost like they were made ahead and sat under a lamp. They were also cold. We live three minutes away. Bacon cheddar fries barely had any cheese or bacon. Pretty sure the cheese came from a can. Even the toddler who eats EVERYTHING wouldn't touch it. I tried this place for the first time, and I have been wanting to for quite a while. I was SHOCKED at the prices. It is SO EXPENSIVE! I was disappointed with frozen fries and charging for basic toppings... I got the loaded smash fries to try to make the most of my money. Off the bat I was really happy with the burgers. They were not super thin patties (like Freddy's) smashed into oblivion. They were pretty thick (for a smash burger) and juicy. The portion of fries was really good and the amount of meat:fries:sauce was great. I am a sauce girl, and I was so happy with the amount of sauce -- there was enough for all of the fries. The cons (aside from prices) were that 1. The fries were frozen. They should be hand cut at the least - real, fresh fries - especially for the price. 2. The cheese sauce was basically nonexistent. 3. It is just crazy to me to charge extra for toppings like lettuce, tomato, raw onion, etc... those are burger toppings and the point is to get "loaded" fries -- a burger without a bun. 4. The amount of bacon bits were overwhelming, though, and it was a little too much for my personal taste. I don't know if I'll eat here again. Honestly I'm not sure why this place has only 3 stars. My husband and I always come to eat here either once of week or every other week. Our food is always delicious and on point! The milkshakes are delicious too. The service has always been amazing, even the chef Brady always comes and asks us how the food is. We're traveling from out of state and wanted to try something we don't have at home. The reviews for Smashin Burgers weren't great but we decided to give it a try. I'm not sure why the reviews aren't better. We had a great experience. The women behind the counter gave us advice on the different burgers. She brought our food/drink to us and kept the conversation going until our food came. I had the peach burger (bcuz.. it's GA soo why not) and it was delicious. My daughter had a regular burger and liked it. Hers was a little greasy but .... it's a burger sooo that's expected. She ate the entire thing and most of her fries. As we were leaving she made a comment about wishing we would have tried the fried pickle chips and shakes. The building looks like an old car shop turned into a restaurant. The outside doesn't have the greatest curb appeal but the inside is cute! It was clean, friendly, and got the spot. If we lived around here it would be a regular stop for us. read more
