They have chocolates, bulk jelly beans, and packaged candy for sell. They also have a wide assortment of ice cream to choose from. You can get coffee, sundaes, banana splits, scoops, cones, shakes, and malts. I asked what was the difference between a shake and a malt and was told by the staff that a malt tasted like a Whooper or a thick milkshake. I assumed they were referring to the Whooper candy and not the burger. The shop was relatively clean and the staff was friendly. I got Cookie Monster ice cream for the littles and a Key Lime shake for me. To be honest, the shake was not very good and pretty bland. I was not a fan. By the blue color all over their face, the littles seemed to like their scoop of Cookie Monster though. My experience here was decent. I wish I would have liked my ice cream treat though. A 3.5 star rating would be more accurate, but since that is not an option, I guess it is closer to a 4 than a 3.

This is some of the richest ice cream I've ever had. In addition, the owner makes her own ice cream by hand. After we ate, I read several less than favorable reviews from several months ago. I must say, however, that our experience was much better than those earlier reviews. This crew had it going on - they were working quite well together. They had 2 or 3 taking orders, and they were able to get the large number of orders out in a reasonable amount of time with few problems. Our food came out hot and accurate. I guess being inside a Loves Truckstop meant that getting tour buses occasionally meant they knew how to deal with crowds. Good job folks! If you are in the area and simply "gotta have your Big Mac or Quarter Pounder", check these folks out.
