The new Dairy Queen in Jackson is clean, efficient and locally owned. It also has a convenience store. Good food!

The new Dairy Queen in Jackson opened in 2014 and features an adjacent convenience store. It is clean, food is made to order and hot, served at your table. Locally owned and operated.

My child got food poisoning from an undercooked burger here. We love dq but please please please check your burgers!

The bf had a waffle cone with dulce de leche cheesecake and my waffle cone was lemon cheesecake. I walked in wanting chocolate but that lemon cheesecake ice cream was too good! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and they'll let you taste! Definitely worth the drive if you're anywhere close by.

The shop has some seating available on the sidewalk on the side and a decent sized dining area. You will also find bar seating looking out of the window and rocking chairs out front. They have chocolates, bulk jelly beans, and packaged candy for sell. They also have a wide assortment of ice cream to choose from. You can get coffee, sundaes, banana splits, scoops, cones, shakes, and malts. I asked what was the difference between a shake and a malt and was told by the staff that a malt tasted like a Whooper or a thick milkshake. I assumed they were referring to the Whooper candy and not the burger. The shop was relatively clean and the staff was friendly. I got Cookie Monster ice cream for the littles and a Key Lime shake for me. To be honest, the shake was not very good and pretty bland. I was not a fan. By the blue color all over their face, the littles seemed to like their scoop of Cookie Monster though. My experience here was decent. I wish I would have liked my ice cream treat though. A 3.5 star rating would be more accurate, but since that is not an option, I guess it is closer to a 4 than a 3.
