One of the worst run Dunkin stores. This independent store has zero accountability. Poor service and bad attitudes. Coffee & donuts are Dunkin quality but drive to the next Dunkin if you can. Not sure if they were making the coffee or what but it took a long time from me arriving at the window to them actually opening the window. Also I bought a Boston Creme and I wasn't given any napkins. Reviews suggest experience here is not as good as it could be and I certainly experienced that. 6-3-22 & 6-4-22 We are staying in the area and my husband could not be more thrilled that there is a Dunkin his favorite coffee everyday. So first stop on the way into Hardeeville late morning we went inside and since it was National Doughnut day we got a free doughnut with purchase of a drink ie my hubby's coffee. We sat outside and it has to be one of the most pleasant Dunkin that I have ever been to. I had to use the restroom it is unisex and clean. Also note they carry my favorite milk Borden with Elsie the cow on the label. Next day Saturday morning I go through the drive thru for pickup. The entire process was quick and painless. Awful Dunkin Donuts, horrible customer service. If you want to be acknowledged or welcomed or even served, you'll be waiting a while. The manager is a short tempered man. My brother had to use the restroom and locked on the door, only to hear the manager inside say "WTF??" Then come out like nothing happened. When we tried to talk to the cashier about it she defended the manager's attitude and got our order totally messed up. The manager started getting panicky when we were about to walk out and suddenly started being friendly out of no where. The staff will ignore you for minutes on end unless you really get their attention, even if the place has no other customers. Awful place and barely a Dunkin if you ask me. We had a really good breakfast little kids got mini pancakes ate them up quickly they didn't care for the hash browns. Older kids got bacon eggs and cheese plain bagel and hash browns and really liked it. Oldest got the egg and cheese croissants and said it was good she didn't care for the hash browns either. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant. It was good but the croissant was almost burnt very crispy however it tasted good. The drive thru forgot my wife's avocado toast so glad we checked the bag. Let's start with an acknowledgement, anywhere that you stop on Interstate 95 on a road trip is a crap shoot. Due to an early morning and a kid who needed to go potty, we stopped here for coffee and a potty break. The place was busy and I got in line to order a cup of coffee with cream. After waiting through two very indecisive customers, I placed my order and then shifted to the receiving area, where I was to wait for my coffee. This turned into a 20 minute ordeal where you have to wait for every order ahead of you to be served which for me turned into multiple sandwiches, several high end frozen coffees and cappuccinos and a search for a missing customer who was not able to get his avocado toast. To put it into perspective, my entire family was able to go potty, grab a snack at a nearby gas station (which was out of coffee or I would have went there) and still get back in the car before I got a small cup of coffee. When I finally got the coffee, it was a good cup of coffee, but the experience is what drives this low review. I probably would have ordered a doughnut also but the prices were not posted and their selection was pretty well depleted. read more

Twice they have been closed at 5:30am when they open at 5:00am, one time an employee was in the parking lot and they told me they were waiting for the manager to arrive. The outdoor menu is falling apart, dirty, cloudy and hard to read, there is trash in the drive through most days and the customer service is very poor depending on who you get. They forgot a piece of my order and when I asked about it the next day I was aggressively confronted with needing a receipt. read more

I had to leave a 1 star, because you could not leave a zero. One customer in front of us! The employee placed their order, and after 10 minutes it still wasn't ready. We were never acknowledged! Stopped here on 11/13/22 around 1000am. We walked in and were the only customers inside. We ordered a Cappuccino, a Chia Tea Latte and a Peppermint Mocha. While waiting for our order, I went to the restroom, it was clean, but NO paper towels and NO StepNpull door opener. When I went back to the counter, the Chia Tea was ready, but the other 2 drinks were not. 4 other customers ordered drinks and were served at the register while we waited at the pickup counter. Another couple came in and ordered and got half of their order and were waiting on a drink. After 11 minutes of waiting, I made eye contact with one of the employees and asked if we could get the rest of our order? He went back and checked the screen and found that the other employee was only making the first drink on the order and then moving on to the next order. The sad thing is, there was plenty of staff working but no one supervising them. The employees were all doing their own thing, nobody had a specific job. As I walked in and to used the restroom I soon realized the sink was DRY... please keep in mind I walked into bathroom which the cashier had just used or walked out off. Horrible service. Please note that they will not accept drive thru orders after 7:50 although they close at 8:00. At 7:51 was being ignored at the drive thru, phoned the store and informed the woman who answered that I was waiting in the drive thru. Despite saying that they would take my order, the employees continued to ignore me. I then pulled around to the side window, and there, the employee decided to serve me. She stated that they stop taking orders at 7:50, and proceeded to overcharge me by 30%, although she did comp a food item to account for the difference. The girl at the window was so sweet and the place looked clean but my powdered sugar donut was so messy, when I bit into it my entire body was covered in powdered sugar. I'm talking chunks and chunks of powdered sugar all over me!! It was like a kilo of cocaine exploded in my car. This Dunkin donuts I stop by every time I drive between Orlando, Fl 32810-4075 to North Charleston, SC 29406. This is pretty nice and good atmosphere. WIFI works really well. Good place to stop by to make calls. It has plug in facility for charging also. It is on the center of I-95 as soon as you enter South Carolina , we can see this location. For people going to enter Hilton Head island-this is the starting place and they have information center next to it. They make really egg white Veggie Sandwich-awesome and outstanding one. People who are of great service worth mentioning are -Christy and the Manager Larry. Way to go. Outstanding. Christy is quick, sharp and manage multiple things in no time. If you're from the north where there's a Dunkin Donuts on every corner, this is pretty much the first one you'll see off the highway for at least 10 hours. The coffee tastes a little more like really good diner coffee (different beans?) than up north but it still hit the spot. There's a drive thru, and the bathrooms were clean. There were 3 female employees in the front carrying on personal conversation but once we came up to the counter the females were gone and 1 guy was left to the drive thru and front counter. We waited an additional 5 minutes of being ignored so we just left. I was curious as to why the McDonald's in the same plaza had 500 cars in their drive thru and dunkin had zero. Is Dunkin' Donuts was by far the worst establishment I have been to. As a loyal Dunkin customer I was very surprised that the girl who helped me had to make my coffee four times because she couldn't understand what I wanted. On the fourth time a different person help to me, and when I proceeded to complain about their poor service, their poor bathroom conditions and the fact that they did not have straws or napkins in the dispensary, she told me that I could go to to another Dunkin if I didn't like their service. I ordered a decaf coffee with half-and-half, extra ice and she gave me an ice, black coffee with half coffee and half decaf.
