My wife and I decided to visit here about 6:30PM on the Fourth of July. Normally we stay inside…read morebecause we hate holidays where everything is closed but we were delighted to find out this place was open. The entrance to the farm kind of sneaks up on you fast; the whole place appears much smaller on the outside, but once you pull in and get to the gravel parking lot, you realize how much bigger it is inside. There was live outdoor music playing and kids laughing and cheering while playing with the nearby caged animals. This place was a great vibe. We weren't particularly hungry so I can't comment on the food, but we did take a walk around and paid for a quart box for blueberry picking. This was our first time and we had no idea what we were doing, but soon enough we filled up our little box very nicely. I recommend you bring some Off or some kind of bug spray if you're anything like me and bugs love buzzing around your ears. Inside the one of the barns was their stores and I picked up a bag of caramel puff corn and a delicious Apple Cider slushie. Everyone was very friendly. Overall we had a very good time here, and I hope to come back on an empty stomach so that I can try out some of their cider donuts.

Amazing Orchard, great shopping facility, outdoor food, fireplace... It has it all going on. This location is amazingly popular and I'm surprised after living in the area for one year I'm just now discovering it. Definitely will return for more exploration. Great place to bring kids. Make sure you pack your wallet with plenty of cash. You won't get out of here cheaply.

The inside of the store is simple and could be improved, but didn't negatively impact my visit in any way. There is some seating available. It was warm and clean. I had a Bavarian cream, which at least felt fresh, but the donut part was meh (might have needed a pinch of salt in the dough), and the cream tasted like the nasty canned "creme" I'd expect at a non-"gourmet" donut shop. With the word "gourmet" I honestly expect some creative flavor options, and for the basics to be skillfully made with quality ingredients. The hot coffee I had was good though. The service was slow. Yes, they're juggling drive-thru and in-store orders, but there has to be a more efficient way of handling counter service and drive-thru ops. I was going to give reluctant (bc of the excessive plastic) bonus points for the coffee lid, because it is *substantial* -- it almost feels reusable, the plastic is so thick -- but the flippy portion broke off when I tried to lock it open. Not a big deal if you're in the passenger seat, and once I found it I could push it back on, but if you're driving, it's at minimum annoying, and potentially a mess. I don't think ambiance is applicable, since there was no seating, but it looked like maybe it used to be an auto parts store? There was a big empty counter with shelves on the way in, and scattered ceiling tiles and fixtures with cars and things like "STP" and "Goodyear." So, I didn't consciously factor ambiance into my rating, but I suppose it might of subconsciously affected my impression. Now, if it were name was "Basic Donuts and Good Coffee," I'd have given an extra star, but not only were the expectations created by the word "gourmet" not met, but the donuts and service didn't even meet those of basic mass-produced chains.

Whenever we go out to eat I always suggest coming here because I look forward to trying new things but also love sticking to some of my favorites like the g Vegas nachos and southwest bowl. They also have the best fried pickles around. Even when the restaurant is busy, the servers are attentive and friendly. I love the ambience and that they have local artists Work posted all the time. I am huge in supporting small sellers and small businesses and I love that they do that too. It's also great that they let you pick from their own flights or you can choose your own!

Gardner Ale House at Moon Hill Brewing gave us a nice evening of good music, cold brews, good food,…read moredollar oysters! (Apr 2026). We came here to try out their Monday Blues, and happened on their Monday Buck-a-Shuck oysters! We found a long room with over 70 seats set up at tables for four that looked combine-able, about 20 seats at the bar and at 2-seat hightops, both rooms with a wall of windows. The band set up in the bar window, but sit where you like, we found that we could hear the band everywhere! There's also a small enclosed outdoor patio with about 30 more seats at umbrellaed tables. The Jim Atkinson band is a foursome of Boston-area musicians that has been cranking out great blues, rock, & roots since 2017. We loved them, especially enjoying the creative keyboard and a real live sax! Their music selection was amazing, more their favorite solid blues than old-standbys, so we didn't recognize every song. But that's real music :-) The $1 New England oysters were big and juicy! They started at 4pm before we got there, and they still had plenty for us after 7pm! They say the variety changes with availability. These were not overly salty. This was dinner for us, and we started with their hot-skillet "Mexican Corn Dip" with zingy pico de gallo salsa and fresh crisp corn tortilla chips. We got a "warm energy" bowl of quinoa, fresh tart cranberries, baby spinach, roasted sweet potato, and goat cheese, flavored with some scallions and garlic-butter. Huge, delicious, and very satisfying! The Fish 'n Chips was a full-foot-long full of their own Moon-Hill-beer beer-battered haddock, piping-hot fries, fresh crunchy coleslaw, with tartar sauce. Yep, Huge, delicious, and satisfying! We tried their parmesan-garlic wings, but that wasn't our favorite. They were ok, but not crispy which we expected. Came with crunchy celery and creamy bleu cheese. Of course we leaned on their in-house Moon Hill brewery for several dry IPAs, their luscious Candy Mountain blueberry sour, (which could have been colder), and a very tasty non-alcohol Blueberry (Not)-tini, a bubbly beverage crafted with "Reàl Blueberry Purée", fresh lemon juice and lemonade. This is a nice community bar, brewery, restaurant, and patio. We are already looking forward to their big Octoberfest!

Hello to all and please read…read more I recently worked for Gourmet Donuts at 43 Airport Road in Fitchburg, MA and feel it's important to share a more detailed account of my experience for transparency and public awareness. During my time there, I made a consistent effort to maintain cleanliness and professionalism, especially while handling food. On one occasion, while assisting a customer, I was pulled away mid-order and reprimanded within earshot of that same customer for using "too many gloves" and "costing too much on my usage of gloves", which I tried explaining (before abruptly dismissed by the manager) that it was only to completely cover my palm's open wound injunction with store bandages that lost stickiness frequently. This was particularly concerning to me, as I was attempting to maintain proper hygiene due to a visible wound on my hand that required covering beyond the poor quality bandages. When I returned to the customer, he expressed discomfort with how the situation was handled, noting that it was inappropriate to interrupt service to address such concerns publicly. The interaction escalated further when he was charged an additional fee for a minor modification to his order per manager's order, which ultimately resulted in him becoming irate, refusing his order, demanding his money back immediately. This situation could have been handled more reasonably and professionally, if my manager agreed with me on waiving the less ice fee of $1.25 just this time and explaining that to this gentleman of only THIS time waiving it to complete the purchase with the customer in mind, instead her demand of me throwing it down the drain and dismissing the very unfortunate situation with a few words " that's just a customer who is that anyways". Additionally, I experienced repeated unprofessional behavior in the workplace, including being spoken to in a dismissive, hostile, and demeaning manner in front of customers. I observed negligent food safety practices by all employees, including handling and preparing sandwiches, bagels, and coffee with bare hands instead of using gloves and interchanging steps of then cashing out customers handling money, cards, and even personal patrons cell phones for Apple Pay. The most concerning incident occurred when I was pulled aside and questioned about a medical-related issue. I was asked to disclose personal health information, including medications and conditions, in a way that felt invasive and inappropriate. Comments were also made suggesting that my appearance due to sweating (in a hot, fast-paced environment without adequate ventilation nor AC/FAN) could negatively impact customers' willingness to accept food from me. This was both humiliating and deeply unprofessional. Following this interaction, I made the decision to leave, as I did not feel comfortable continuing in that environment. I have since reported these concerns through the appropriate channels, as I believe both employees and customers deserve to be treated with respect, professionalism, and basic standards of dignity. I am sharing this so others can make informed decisions. My hope is that meaningful changes are made moving forward. Thank you and God bless us all! Have a wonderful beautiful day...... summer is coming in great
