    Iced Gingerbread Latte
    Keisha L.

I really do not like having to write a one star review but sometimes it is required and this is one of those times. I stopped in here to grab a iced coffee and against my better judgement some hash browns, which is the sole and most prevalent reason for this one star review. The young lady who took my order was friendly and this is no reflection of her at all. I placed my order, and Iced Gingerbread Latte and hash browns. I waited all of a full fifteen minutes for my iced coffee and there was only one person ahead of me. Matter of fact, we were the only two customers in the place. The hash browns were down right gross! Please do not waste your time, energy or effort. They were lukewarm at best and tasted under cooked. Never again. Like never ever at least not from this location. It is unfortunate because my iced coffee was delicious!! It needed nothing added to it and was perfect just the way it was. I think the Gingerbread Man himself would be jealous of how good it tasted however the lackluster hash browns stole all the shine of this visit!

Shows the promotion that was supposed to be given to teachers.

I never go to this Dunkin. I don't know why I decided to go this morning, maybe because it's get a free medium coffee for teachers and I live right down the block. I walk in and ask for this promotion. The lady stares at me confused. I show her the promotion on the website and she says it needs to be on the app... no it does not it says it on the website. It clearly states not valid on mobile app. Despite her reading what it says she still told me no they are not giving out free coffee to teachers. They look at you like you're stupid and don't know what is going on half the time. I will continue to not go here.

First time ordering a medium iced coffee (pecan flavor) on skim w/ lite ice. *With a 99¢ coupon. I truly love this DD and the staff is always friendly!

The Wake-Up Wrap... or something like it. This atrocity is brought to you by the wonderful 4 AM crew.

This place is usually pretty good, but apparently not at 4 AM. I ordered a #12 (Wake Up Wrap - Steak ) with a small sweetened iced tea. I was the only customer in there, except for maybe one other guy who was waiting for his order. In other words, not busy at all, but it still took nearly 9 minutes before I got my order. I get home and open the steak wrap, and out it comes dripping with honey mustard. I take a bite and the wrap feels like its been out for too long; stale and chewy, hard to bite into. I look at the sausage and its a crooked little sliver of meat, awkwardly cut and not enough to cover the base of the wrap. Way too sweet from the oozing amounts of honey mustard, and it was almost like the wrap and the meat were competing for which one was chewier. Also, wasn't I supposed to get eggs in here? Reached for (what I thought was) my iced tea hoping to help dissolve the weird textures in my mouth, but surprise surprise... its iced coffee! Sure, its a 24-hour DD, but come on, if America runs on this stuff, then the two bright gentlemen behind the counter need the caffeine more than I do.

Iced coffee and sour cream donut!
    Angela A.

I have been to this location about a dozen times or more, mostly to get coffee and twice for a donut or two. I took my kids once to get the overpriced but fairly yummy ice cream on the Baskin Robbins side. The coffee as usual is delightful and they almost always put the right amount of cream and sugar in my drink. It's always hot and taste fresh and you can even add flavor to it. I really liked the peppermint mocha when they offered it! The establishment has always been clean when we sat in to enjoy out coffee. It's never crowded so we never had an issue finding seating. It seems to seat about 24 people. I really love the free wifi because I believe all coffee places should have free wifi. And surprisingly after moaning constantly that I wasn't a fan of their donuts because they just taste like cigarette smoke to me, I finally tried a sour cream donut and it was really good! My five year old son had two glazed donuts once and devoured them but he is not very picky. Now I do think that for the size and quality of their donuts they need to lower the price! Over a buck per donut seems like highway robbery to me but I'll stick to my yummy coffee and free wifi and maybe the occasional sour cream donut when my pocketbook is in agreement with me! Also the ice cream seems to be a hit because I always see more people getting ice cream than getting coffee and donuts! And as a side note: I went once and ordered a hot coffee and the cashier put iced coffee on the receipt and so the 'barista' handed it to me and I told her of the mistake and she said, 'oh, well that's what he punched in and that's what's on the receipt,' while still handing me the iced coffee. I just looked at her and said, 'well I'm sorry but can you change it because I want a hot coffee.' She did and didn't show any attitude so I give her credit for that but next time she should have just switched it and not try to get me to still drink it. Go check them out for yourself and see what you think. I know I'll be back!

I asked him if he would carry a flavor that is hard to find (german chocolate cake ice cream) from the baskin robbins side (located in the DD store).

La Poteria was the perfect midpoint to grab our morning caffeine fix and a bite to eat before we hit the Harpers Ferry hiking trails. The cafe was beautifully decorated with marble tables, a ton of plants, and plenty of couches and cozy armchairs. There was a ton of natural light from the giant windows, but they also had a number of aesthetic hanging lights, some of which were exposed bulbs and others of which were in little wicker baskets. As far as the food and drink goes, I loved their latte. The coffee was rich and not overly acidic, and it was strong enough that you could still appreciate the chocolatey, nutty undertones under the generous helping of steamed milk and foam. I also loved the little heart sprinkle they added in the center of the mug -- such a cute final touch! My friend and I also split two of their savory items, the cheese arepa and spinach and feta empanada. The empanada was a little different than what I was used to, as it was super flaky and buttery, with an almost croissant or puff pastry-like dough. It was delicious and the savory feta went wonderfully with the spinach and the slightly peppery mayo-based sauce they served it with. The arepa was also lovely, with a generous helping of gooey melted cheese on top of the slightly chewy, slightly sweet corn-based flatbread.

Thursday 2/15/2024…read more This place was brought to my attention due to its ice cream but it was more than that. The family room is a local based gift shop that sells plenty of things like baked goods, ice cream, chocolate bars, books, juices, soaps, candles, art, and much much more. The workers make sure you are welcomed and are happy to help with anything you need. I ended up getting a cinnamon roll $6, brownie $6, a s'mores choclate bar $4.50, and a 'C is for cookie' (pre packed) ice cream pint $7.49. The cinnamon roll and brownie come from Ella's bake shop and they surprised me. The cinnamon roll gave me low expectations based on how it looked but I was highly impressed to say the least. I had the cinnamon roll at room temperature & warmed it up and it very was good, I would definitely get it again. The brownie also gave me low expectations based on looks but yet again I was impressed. The brownie was good: moist and had chocolate chips in it. The s'mores chocolate bar came from Hammonds and it was alright but overpriced in my opinion. When it comes to the ice cream they have fresh ice cream available and ice cream pre packed. I ended up sampling C is for cookie (cookies n cream + cookie dough), vanilla, and chocolate. C is for cookie ended up being my favorite of the 3 so I decided to get a prepacked pint of it which was a noticeable dip in taste & texture compared to the fresh ice cream I had before but I know better next time. The family room is a nice find that I would recommend and would return to for the delicious baked goods & FRESH ice cream.

I also checked out their new patio while I was there. The area itself has a few tables and chairs, but the covered section can only probably seat 6 or 7 folks. Still good to have.

Both had oat milk and were creamy and delicious. I think we drank them down in seconds. I also purchased a chocolate avalanche pastry. Since it's a French bakery, I had expected the pastry to be rich in chocolate and not sweet. Instead, it was the opposite. I'm not sure how the other dessert-based pastries are but I'm leery now. The person who took our order wasn't pleasant by any means, but I gave a tip anyway in case they were just overwhelmed and didn't feel like being welcoming. The interior is spacious with plenty of seating with some seating outdoors. The only issue with the environment is that there was a high whistle that filled the entire establishment. That inspired us to leave sooner than expected. Our greatest disappointment was to see that with all of their plastic cups that they did not have any recycling bins.
