There's lots of interesting decor and history here. It seems like a nice place to hang out during the colder months when the fireplace gets going. Ordering was super quick and you don't have to sit on the side you ordered from. Just let them know where you will be at and they will come find you (listen for your number). I had the apple cider and I was pleasantly surprised. All the Apple cider I have had is non-alcoholic and I thought that was what I was drinking until my boyfriend set me straight. It was so yummy and I couldn't taste the alcohol at all (my kind of drink)! The ID check should have clued me in...but I thought it was because my boyfriend also ordered an alcoholic drink. My boyfriend ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger with Mac & Cheese while I had the Brisket Grilled Cheese with Bacon Ranch Potato Salad. We also ordered a dozen Apple Butter. Everything tasted good and there was a decent amount of brisket in my sandwich. Even that I recommend letting some pieces with the bbq sauce mix in with the potato salad. It makes it even better! The donuts were good too, but I recommend taking them home and popping them into the microwave for a bit. Then put a scoop of coffee almond ice cream on it. On one occasion I watched her almost run a customer over with a big full trashcan. I couldn't believe what I saw!! On another occasion I was standing in line behind a customer ordering and Joy was at the register taking the order, the customer proceeded to ordered a breakfast sandwich and this Joy employee says "Imagine that" as she is rolling her eyes with a look of utter disgust on her face clearly showing how annoyed she was she had to make a breakfast sandwich and these are only a few of the incidents as I could keep going and going but I won't. As a local business owner myself who takes pride in the customer service we provide I am both appalled and baffled on how Dunkin Donuts can allow an employee to be this rude daily and she continues to keep her job! When I went back, the manager rolled her eyes, got defensive instead of apologizing, and flat-out lied about who made my drink. I've worked retail and run a store solo; I know food service is hard. But there's a difference between "busy" and "doesn't care." Slow down enough to follow the ticket and check subs. Customer service 101: validate, apologize, fix. Instead, I was treated like the problem. If the unofficial policy is "accept whatever we hand you or go somewhere else," say that. Otherwise, please train your team and hold leadership accountable -- your customers shouldn't have to beg for basic accuracy and respect.
