Am I even thinking of the right place?? Anyway, four out of five. I don't get any of that fancy stuff so there's no way to screw it up.

There…read moresadly isn't really a way to advertise that OneCupJoe has a new location here to the military population unless it's via word of mouth. Hopefully this will be rectified soon, as this type of business is a boon for coffee lovers. I stopped in by chance when I recently had business on base, and I was as giddy as a kid in a candy store with a free pass. I'm a coffee lover, and also have a Keurig which I love. I like trying new coffees, and hadn't heard/seen many of the brands and flavors they carried here. I purchased a dozen for myself as well as a gift certificate for a friend. You get 24 K-Cups for $14.99, which is a lot better deal than through many coffee clubs as you usually get a 18 count box for the same price. Their flyer shows the cost as $12.99 for their other locations, but this may be due to the fact that the base doesn't charge sales tax and they need to account for that. Even boxes in the supermarket go for $8.99 for just a dozen, and you don't get to choose the ones you want. Pretty much any way you look at it, One Cup Joe is a great deal. They carry everything from super-caffeinated coffee to teas and cocoas. You can mix and match and try a little bit of everything. This is SO MUCH BETTER than ending up with a box of coffee you don't like after trying just one k-cup. This location also has full boxes of the cups, as well as a Keurig to brew an individual cup for $0.99 to see if you like a flavor/brand before buying a full box. Genius. The guy that came up with this idea is absolutely genius. He is growing the business and opening new locations, and I really hope he expands into my area. I do have to go back to JBMDL every couple months, and I guarantee that this will be one of the stops I make.

My GPS said I'd arrived but I had to look up a picture of the place because it's in an old Victorian house set back from the road with a couple other businesses. Being set back allows them to have a quiet outdoor seating area with plenty of shade which you pass by on your way inside. Inside is very cute with much more seating, big bright windows that let in the afternoon sun and decor that blends the coffee shop seamlessly into the beautiful old house. I ordered an iced almond milk latte, my warm weather go to. The counter person asked if I wanted any flavor/syrup and, while I usually don't because I don't like sweet coffee, I acquiesced because she said she could make sure it wasn't super sweet but I still got the flavor. This was quite literally the BEST iced almond milk latte I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. The salted caramel syrup lent just a hint of sweetness but full flavor. The espresso was flawless. I sipped my latte while walking back down Main Street to my car in 80° weather with flowers blooming and birds chirping and it was the perfect lunch break treat. I will be back.

Ever get hungry and the place you want is closed, then you find a different place and try it? Well!…read moreThat's what we did! I wanted bagels one morning for breakfast, and they are across from my mechanic. So we came here and it was great! They seem to have a rolling selection of special drinks, and the ones for Valentines day sound amazing! I got a double espresso one and wow is all I can say! They have a few kitschy items for sale, usually seasonal from what I can tell. A decent selection of pastries and a nice selection of bagels. We tried a few of them and were happy with out selection. We got a plain bagel with cream cheese, an everything bagel with butter. A cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. A breakfast burrito! And I forgot what else. The bagels were divine! Light airy chewy and delicious! No matter the spread! The burrito was a hair dry and needed something like ketchup or SnP or something, but was still delightful! There were only 2 people working in the back and it took a few minutes, but that is probably due to the burrito lol! Im sure we would have been in and out in 1/4 the time with only bagels! The 2 ladies were very friendly! Inside is a cool relaxing environment. Some comfy chairs to relax in, some tables to have a bite to eat at and a couch to also relax on. We cannot wait to come back here!

Decorated well for Christmas but a nice lounge area and a bar that overlooks main street (farnsworth) of Bordentown. The coffee was exceptional. I went for an americano. I only had coffee but the food in the case looked very good. The service was great too. The folks working there were attentive and answered all my questions. Will certainly be coming back and would recommend.

The place sits like a warm thought at the corner of Farnsworth and Church, glowing with the small kindnesses that make life bearable. I ordered the RAF latte with chili honey. The barista looked at me the way a chemist might before adding the final, possibly dangerous ingredient. He asked how much heat I could handle. I told him to let it burn. He smiled the smile of someone who knows exactly what that means and drizzled with confidence. The drink was something so familiar yet completely new. Smooth, rich, and somehow gentle despite the fire. The chili honey bit like a memory of something you once loved and lost, but it soothed just as quickly. I was glad I ordered the small, which was not small at all. The cup sat in my hands like a minor planet. The interior is modest in space but large in spirit. A few stools face the street, offering a view of Bordentown's quiet choreography of pedestrians and parked cars. Inside, everything feels intentional and cared for. The staff moved with the calm competence of people who genuinely enjoy what they are doing. I had the sense that if I had stayed an hour or two longer, nobody would have hurried me along. The air smelled of espresso and butter, and the crepes being carried past me looked like edible happiness. Sweet, savory, folded with the precision of small miracles. I will be back to try them. I might even show up early again on purpose. Smachna Kawa is the kind of place that reminds you the world still knows how to nourish beautiful things in small corners.
