The bagel itself was soft and fresh, although I do wish it had been toasted for a little extra crunch. The chicken salad was smooth rather than chunky, and the fresh lettuce and tomato added a nice crisp bite to the sandwich. The fries were a little undercooked and could have used more salt, but the crumb cake was the perfect finishing treat. It had a lighter sweetness that did not feel over the top and paired nicely with the rest of the meal. I will definitely keep this spot in mind when I am looking for another quick lunch option nearby.

I splurged a few times and got the classic, and today tried something a little different based on a recommendation: Power Bagel (scooped & toasted, of course) with Avocado, Lox, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, & Capers...so fresh and delicious! Bob Evans Restaurant - A Solid, Comforting Anytime‑Breakfast Spot…read more Bob Evans is conveniently tucked near several hotels, making it an easy stop whether you're starting your day or winding it down. I walked in to a warm greeting and a smile, right as I faced a sign welcoming me to their "farmhouse kitchen," which honestly sets the tone perfectly. It's one of the few sit‑down breakfast places open at 6:30 AM, and they serve breakfast all day -- a huge win for people like me who think breakfast tastes great at any hour. I actually ordered breakfast at 5:30 PM. They offer plenty of non‑breakfast options, but I'm a breakfast‑anytime person. Drinks come in mason jars, which fits the whole "country road meets grandma's kitchen" vibe. The cinnamon rolls were a little dry but still delicious, with sweet, sugary frosting that hit the spot. The young ladies serving were friendly, upbeat, and attentive. The atmosphere stayed fairly quiet, making it easy to have a conversation without shouting over background noise. For my meal, I went classic: eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns had that crispy edge you hope for, and the bacon was good -- though next time I'll ask for extra crispy. Overall, simple, satisfying comfort food. I enjoyed it enough that I'm already planning to come back tomorrow to try the chicken fried steak and eggs. A solid four‑star experience.

Although my GPS screwed up navigation, I managed to find the entrance to this Freddy's parking lot…read moreand make my way inside to pick up the mobile order I had transmitted a few hours before. The shop was all bright red & white, but smallish in stature with perhaps a dozen tables for eat ins. I opted for take out due to bad weather (nor'easter coming up the coast dumping loads of rain and causing minor flooding). My order was ready upon arrival. I just had to ask the first employee I saw where to go for takeout. That easily accomplished, I drove home the 15 miles; crossing the Delaware River on the Burlington-Bristol Bridge just as a cloudburst opened up. Tightened my grip, and made it home safely, managing to grab a few skinny fries along the way (crisp and nicely salted). As a first timer, I opted for their Hot Dog (lobster roll bun topped with yellow mustard, sauerkraut, onion and relish) and a Reeces Concrete (milkshake). They were both very good. The frankfurter meaty, spicy, possessing a nice snap when bitten and a solid 7 chomps to consume. The Concrete was basically a peanut butter shake with small bits of chocolate mixed with the vanilla slurry. Oh, so sweet, but perhaps not worth the calories nor the extra cost (($4+). Skip it next time. No doubt, Freddy's is a contender in the fast casual burger wars, competing with the Five Guys of the world. Higher quality than McDs, BK or Wendy's, with commensurate pricing. Four semi fast food Stars.

It's much softer and tastes better, idk how to explain it! I got the crispy chicken costoletta as per viral tiktoks with sub asparagus for angel hair pasta and side of extra sauce. They were not exaggerating! It was delicious. The chicken was super thin and crispy, but the lemon sauce was def the star. It tasted creamy but bright and perfectly cut through the oiliness of the chicken. I really love the buffalo blasts and fried Mac and cheese too. Portions for all entrees are massive and I ALWAYS have leftovers to bring home. The service is always lovely. It's very large inside with many seats. Louisiana chicken pasta was pretty good. I ordered it since it was one of their more popular dishes. I hadn't had bowtie pasta in forever and it was quite nostalgic. Flavors were okay, a little lacking but I was glad it wasn't too spicy. I was Anthony's first customer of the day, and he treated me well. I went with his Chicago Dog (see photo) which came as described and was a mouthful to consume. I had to apply pressure and squeeze this creation down to a size that fit into my mouth from first bite to last. All beef wiener, potato roll and a side table for garnish. He even made me a cup of coffee on the house. Fun deliciousness all the way. And the surrounding buildings were just as charming and worthy of closer inspection. The cafe next door had some worthy looking baked goods that would have made a nice dessert had I the time to sit in their lovely parlor and indulge. Next time, for sure. I also had a fascinating conversation while I ate my hot dog, with Anthony's friend, Steve, who had been a minor league baseball star both in the USA and Europe. I saw old clippings about his success, and compared notes about living overseas; he as an athlete. Me as a student and businessman. That conversation made my day.
