Then came my turn for my cookies, I told her what I wanted and the girl proceeded to pick my cookies out, without changing her gloves. I ended up paying for the cookies because I didn't want to embarrass my friend, and when I got a chance I called the bakery and complained. It is nasty to handle food after handling money! It's disgusting and when I received a very nonchalant response from the bakery, I reached out on Instagram. The response there was that they were, too, disgusted and would be addressing this with that employee, and would refund the $16 I spent on the cookies. They never did and I will not go back. They may have really good cookies, but their hygiene policy sucks!

I tried the blondie the first time and it was super milky and creamy, not much coffee flavor. My friend suggested banana bread latte and it is definitely my favorite and sooo yummy! I order any of their drinks half sweet since they are definitely on the sweeter side. It reminds me of Dutch Bros on the East coast. Their system is pretty quick and efficient with someone coming up to your car to order so everyone continues to move along. All the workers are always super kind!

I pass 3 Dunkins and 1 Starbucks and 2 specialty shops to get there if that tells you anything. I checked them out and I am very impressed. Yes they're a lot of fluff and sweets but hey, if you can dream it, they can make it. Their newly added APP works flawlessly and is very intuitive. They have a million flavors and options so be prepared. The service is exceptional and crazy friendly making my 7 mile trip worth it. Along with free drinks after every 10, they also offer a free pup cup that destroys Starbucks version, with 3 biscuits. Big Win!!! I could go on, but I'm now a big fan Check them out, bring the kids, bring the dogs, you won't be disappointed.

If you are looking for a little pocket of charm near Skaneateles or Marcellus, NY, Milk House…read moreRoastery is your place. Nestled directly behind a silo inside a historic 1700s farm cellar, this family-run farm and roastery has been open for six years, offering an authentic country farm hideaway vibe. While they do not feature an espresso bar, their hot brewed coffee, iced coffee, and canned cold brew with oat milk are wonderful. I particularly enjoyed their iced coffee with cream and their housemade brown sugar nutmeg simple syrup--a recipe the owner and coffee master was more than happy to share after I admired it. They also carry a small but pleasantly unexpected selection of artisan foods from around the Finger Lakes area, including granola, shortbread cookies, pastas, specialty salts, and more. Plus, they sell their beans by the pound--beans which they source directly from coffee growers and roast weekly on-site. Additionally, following the farm's first dahlia show this September, I was able to purchase some of their dahlia seeds--which came complete with expert planting and transplanting advice from the owner. Overall, the pricing is fair, with the canned cold brews leaning slightly expensive, but in a pleasant, small-splurge kind of way. While there are tables available, the space is better suited for catching up with a small group of friends rather than setting up to work for hours. The hospitality is exceptional, and the entire experience feels deeply connected to the farm. Make the extra effort to stop here the next time you're traveling through the area! CAUTION: Check their website for hours before you go; they have fairly limited operating hours, so definitely plan ahead to stop by on your way to anywhere else in the area!

The options for drinks are as endless as if you walked in to a coffee shop and they even have some breakfast food and bakery items on certain days. I pulled up 20 min to closing and was a little worried but I'm so grateful they weren't cleaning and closing everything up yet. The employee was the sweetest and made my drink super quick.
