We literally go here everyday. And everyday I never know what I'm gonna get. Ordered Choco-Mocha Peppermint Latte with oatmilk? Got some hot coffee with chocolate syrup. Order it again the next day? They don't know what oatmilk is and say they don't have it. Order it the following day? Might get it right. But never two days in a row. While visiting this location needed to use the bathroom the only 2 employees upfront were deep in conversation so out of respect I waited quietly while they finished their conversation one turned to me and rudely yelled at me an said how am i so posed to know you needed to use the bath room while giving me a dirty look. This location is unorganized and is not familiar with their menu. I ordered a two coffees, one was a latte and she asked if I wanted cream and sugar...in a featured latte on their menu. I didn't get my second coffee and when I went up to say so, she told me I was wrong and that I didn't order that yet there were two coffees ordered and I only got one. I usually try to avoid going to any Dunkin Donuts because there are many choices of coffee shops in the city. However, I would like to give a shout-out to the management of this specific location. First of all, ordering through their drive-through is literally painless. The clerk on the other side of the speaker enunciates words well and is always friendly. Secondly, they deliver your food with smile. I know it may sound ridiculous that I even review on someone's smile. Well, it's a job about serving customers and often times it's difficult to smile because those customers can be really hard to look at!! Anyhow, they nail this. This morning they almost forgot our coffee but immediately corrected their mistake. No biggie. Keep on the great work. Passed by for bagels this morning , customer service was not the best from the start DID NOT GET MY RECEIPT but the main reason I'm not coming back here and leaving my one star review is because they made me pull up to the second window which then the lady there said no go park by the back door which is next to the trash can there was ONE car behind me they could of left us in line waiting for my bagels. My appetite was ruined by the smell of the garbage and then as I pulled away no more than 7 minutes later once I parked I realized that one of my bagels was missing went back and tried to tell them and show them but the lady at the first window was only yelling "we made sure we put everything in there." I have no reason to lie over ONE whole bagel. You seriously couldn't have toned it down and listen to my explanation. There are other locations in elgin so hopefully they aren't as horrible as this one. read more

This the best Dunkin Donuts EVER!! The staff are the most polite, nice people in customer service I have ever seen! They took the time to learn my name and now greet me by it. They never mess up my order. They are fast, but not so fast that it is rude. They have my extra sugar ready when they hand me my drink. Maria and the owner/manager are awesome! As well as the drive through guys/girls! I never get good service from any other Dunkin in town and feel bad when I'm forced to have to use another one! I can not express how much I LOVE this place. This is the quickest and most friendly Dunkin Donuts I have ever been to! I am usually trying to get through the drive thru line in under 4min to catch the Metra across the river at National Street. I am never kept waiting! Hot coffee with the occasional breakfast wrap or donut in 2-3min tops! Everyone who works the drive thru is so friendly and thorough. The owner usually hands me my order and rings me up at the window. Always makes me smile! I'll be honest, the strip mall it is in is kind of seedy, but this Dunkin is quality! read more

Stopped by during happy hour to get the $1 iced coffee. Went through the drive-thru in a mini van with six people. We were told there was a limit of two on the happy hour special. We purchased two and went down to have each individual purchase their own $1 drink but were denied because we were in the van... What's the difference if we had all went down in the first place? I don't know what they're doing at this location, but they're doing it RIGHT. My order is always 100%, the staff always has a smile, and the store is always clean. The store is commonly filled with people, but it never feels crowded or overwhelming. Keep up the good work! read more

Hey guys I live right next to the Dunkin' Donuts and the workers are horrible they don't wear their masks they aren't polite and they make my drink wrong everytime everytime their is extra sugar at the bottom of it and it doesn't just go back to normal when I stir it it takes about 30 minutes to stir then your drink isn't cold at all 2/5 stars horrible. read more

This Dunkin is the BEST one in Elgin , I've lived in Elgin for 4 years now and I've been to all of the coffee shops in the area (mainly Duncin and Starbucks) but they never ever mess up the orders! I love this location it is really close to my home and where I get my haircut also a good place but I just know got a ice cream tub of u.s.s butterscotch of stranger things season three and it was amazing I loved also the ice cream and sundaes of stranger things and the other flavors are so delicious I always try to try the monthly but I can't have a lot also they are really cheap and when I didn't have a lot of money I got large coffees one for myself and my mom for like 2-1 dollars it is really nice also such a great service I recommend it for sure. read more

I always come in this dunkin donuts atleast once a week, I work across the street, and the first time I came, the lady charged me gave me back my card and said she needed my card again because it didn't go thru, so she charged me for my order. I am a regular customer at this location and customer service is usually slow, seems short on staff. Tonight I was craving a hot chocolate so I went in at 10:15pm as I order the guy at the intercom sounded plain not at all friendly I said "Hello" then proceeded with my order he just said in a loud voice, "what?" so I repeated my order. Once I got to the window he was not at all professional he was dragging himself to work, as if I was bothering him which was really rude. he comes to the window and says, "there is no glazed donuts.".. with a resting b#@$h face, and again with a very "youre bothering me additude." ive worked in customer service before and I know sometimes it tough but really... I would never make a customer feel this way if that employee does not want to work maybe he should resign. After getting my order I said "thank you, good night" and he just shut the window on me. Sunday I went to purchase a large iced coffee about 12pm. I placed a $10 bill on the counter. the female Hispanic employee "threw" my change on the counter where it bounced all over. Obviously this woman has a problem with Senior citizens visiting the establishment. Either that or she is racist against white people. (See my review for Saturday and her actions then). Due to her behavior on Saturday I did not even bother to ask her for the Senior citizen discount which I always request. (Everything I find online states DD gives this discount to those 55+, I am 57). I left without collecting my change, only the bills. I did not collect my iced coffee either, even though I had already paid for it. This employee doesn't seem to understand it is not about $ but about customer service. I have been a customer there for 4.5 years 2-4 days per week purchasing a wide variety of items, sandwiches, bagels, donuts, hash browns, large iced coffees, regular coffee, iced teas, herbal teas, and sundaes. I normally leave a tip in the tip jar for most employees. I have never had any issues with any of the employees there for 4.5 years until now. I took myself over to a different eating establishment that treats it's customers with more respect. It's obvious this Dunkin Donuts does not want my business... read more
