They serve their beverages in a mug and on a plate, which for me is always an upgrade from a paper cup. It was made perfectly with whole milk, a little lavender, and a little vanilla, with a great aroma and a nice bit of frothy foam. I would normally get one of their scones, but I was saving myself for lunch. Next time! Service: I got a friendly greeting and had some nice chatting with the person taking my order. Atmosphere: This location is a bit smaller than some of their other ones. It is set up with seating in several different areas. It was quiet, and people were having casual conversations. I got mine with a fried egg. They only offer the egg fried hard. My preference would have been a softer egg with at least a little runny yolk, but it was still very good as served. My wife got the Quinoa Bowl with chicken and guacamole. That was an amazing combination. The guacamole isn't made fresh on-site, I happened to see the package from Costco, but it was actually very good. Service: Lots of very nice people here. My understanding is that there are a few paid staff members, but the majority of the people working are volunteers. Everyone we met was genuinely friendly and helpful. Ordering was easy. After placing your order, you get a number, and they deliver the food to your table. Atmosphere: It's a nice space. There's a smaller area where you place your order, along with some small tables. An adjacent larger room has additional seating and bigger tables. Lots of windows provide plenty of natural light, and there are areas that work well for smaller groups. My understanding is that the larger space is also used for meetings and gatherings by different community groups. It's a great facility for a community that wants to nurture neighborly goodwill and social involvement. This is definitely a place I want to support. Maybe there's a future volunteer barista position for me! :)

I usually ask for it in a mug, but unfortunately they don't have mugs, so you get a paper cup. I asked for whole milk, a little lavender, and a little vanilla. After I got it and looked inside, I was seriously disappointed. It was pretty much a cup of hot milk with a tea bag floating at the top. It was hot and had reasonably good flavor (the bag was still steeping), but there wasn't much latte texture at all. I didn't even finish it. They have a nice selection of different bakery items, cakes, and cookies. I saw many people enjoying these, but I didn't get anything myself. Service: The folks taking the order were nice. They seemed to know lots of regulars who came in for beverages and food. Atmosphere: The place is super cute. It has an old-time feel to it, with a tin ceiling, wood floors, period lighting, and a cast-iron radiator. The roaster sits in the middle of the place, with a counter all around it for enjoying your drink. Other seating options are along the outside walls and near the front windows. Good thing I got there early cause within a couple minutes there had to have been almost two dozen people in line behind me (I was second). In addition to cinnamon rolls, I got a dozen donuts. The cinnamon rolls were great. Gooey inside, like cinnamon rolls should be, and lots of cinnamon flavor. The frosting on top was very sweet (almost too much so) and there was a ton of it, so we had to scrape a little off. The donuts were also very good. I got two each of six different flavors (regular chocolate frosted long john, chocolate frosted long john with sprinkles, apple fritter, fruity pebbles topped, crushed Oreo topped with marshmallow cream inside, and peanut butter and jelly). My favorite was the peanut butter and jelly. My wife liked the fruity pebbles the most. The kids liked both kinds of chocolate long johns. The store looks like it was converted from house, so the layout is weird. The actual room with the donut case is small, so people have to wait in the hallway and kind of block the counter for checking out. I know they just moved to this location earlier this year, so they probably aren't looking to move again so soon, but it wouldn't be the worst thing. I thought the prices are super reasonable for a bakery. The dozen doughnuts was $14 and the cinnamon rolls were $4 each. When I picked up the boxes and felt how heavy they were, I assumed it would be much more than $30 for everything.

All have been nothing short of delightful, but I think the fruit pizzas are the standout winner for my tastebuds! When you walk in you will likely be greeted with the heavenly smell of fresh baked goods, which leaves you knowing that what you're getting is fresh and homemade. I wish I could bottle up that smell and take it with me! Daisies is definitely worth the stop, or even drive, to get many sweet treats at a great price!
