She gave us four small cups of water. I went back to ask for a refill of water and a larger cup for the water. She told me those cups were for lattes only. I told her we just spent $60 in here, could I please have a plastic cup of water. She then got combative, raised her voice and yelled. "You are being rude to me. You need to stop." This was done in front of other customers and my children who were frightened by her reaction. I have never had such a rude interaction at a restaurant. It is clear she was having a bad day or was extremely emotional for some reason however, she shouldn't bring that to a place of business. Thankfully, after this interaction, she stormed out of the coffee area and did not return. Another employee had to man the barista station. I would not recommend this place.

The Pit Stop gas station is one with lower gas if you pay cash, so you know what to do - bring CASH (but they do take credit if needed). This location is a favorite with truckers, so you will always see trucks there too. It is also a stop for school buses, so if you have the timing just off you may wait a while at the DD while the kids order the Mocha Late Half Caf whatever... Once or twice when this happened to me, I just stepped to the front, said "Id like a medium coffee, light and sweet, and its worked. I suppose if I was getting something complicated then it might not, but who can argue with a simple cup of coffee at a coffee shop? This is a great place to stop if you need a break, there is a convenience store there and a sub shop of some sort. Easy on and off the highway.

Inside is a gas station of large proportion, selling anything you can imagine: beer, soda, newspapers, hats, post cards, vacation items (umbrellas, sun tan lotion, OFF), sandwiches, an isle of canned goods, household items, car maintenance, maps and mixers. Dunkin Donuts is inside this gas station on the LEFT. Both are separate. Along the windows are a few large bar-tops with chairs around them to look out the windows (it is bright and very appealing inside). The staff was busy ringing up customers, taking orders, shaking smoothies and ice coffees - some guy was talking with customers about the news of the day. Wonderful! This Dunkin' has a drive around out back, but I am not sure: you might be better and faster just going inside to the counter to pick up - like I did. No problems at all from a visitor, passing by.
