The only real difference is you pay the service associate that brings it out to you. Definitely a place to have close to exact funds, although the associate did indeed have exact change to give. Nothing overly exciting about the look and feel, other than being pretty open and not tight feeling in stall/lane. The food selection is similar to any other fast food location. Opted for a chicken sandwich basket. Fries were cooked nicely and not overly salty. The crispy chicken sandwich had good crunch and juicy not dry texture. The bun was soft with no seeds and sized nicely. All and all a good quality filling sandwich.

Unfortunately, they don't do the carhop trays anymore, but everything else is exactly the same, down to the ordering by telephone from your table if you decide to eat inside. The service was fast and my carhop was very friendly.... My order was simple. A papa burger, fries, and of course, a root beer float. The burger and fries , were very good. I think the fact that I hadn't been to an A&W with a carhop, since I was a kid, made everything taste even better. The root beer, float, alone, A&W always does a great root beer, float, but this one, also just immediately took me back. Not only that, but this A&W uses cane sugar root beer. That alone makes it taste better. The memory factor alone made this worth the stop. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is cash only, but they do have an ATM inside Thanks, for the memories...

It is not often that I will grant a chain fast food restaurant five stars. The fact of the matter,…read moreunless I get horrible service, I usually don't rate them worth a review. Tonight though was a different story. After a long day of work my family decided to get a quick bite out. Since Wendy's was donating 15% of their profits to Toy's for Tot's we chose to go there. Never before in fast food, have we seen such friendliness , professionalism and cleanliness in such an establishment (especially on an evening shift). As for the food, it was hot, fresh and made to look like it does on the ads! Although the price was a bit higher than the competition, the quality made it worthwhile! This place is right off the highway, and it is Cortaca weekend! By all means the place should have been trashed! But it was the opposite. This establishment seems to take a different approach than the normal fast food stereotype. For those passing through and stopping at the gateway to our community, the employees of Wendy's tonight proved to be excellent ambassadors! I hope they keep up the good work all of the time! P.S. It is only the beginning of November, the holiday season isn't even in full swing and that donation box was already full! So more kudos to the community of Cortland for your generosity! Keep at this as well!

As i drove away, i saw him in the same spot on his phone. I don't understand how people can just choose when they want to stop working even though it's not even closed yet. So unprofessional and selfish. That worker is a horrible excuse for an employee. Really disappointing.

There was no one else waiting in the lobby for food, plenty of employees working but for some reason it took 10 minutes for a single soft taco. It also had lettuce on it. Lobby was fairly clean. All I saw on the right were machines for me to go to to place my order and then another station to pick up my order. The employee where I'd pick up my order said nothing to me as I came in -- and this wasn't a busy time of the day, thus no reason for that. So impersonal. I prefer to place my order with a person, whether I go inside or through the Drive Thru. I've been here many times over the years, and this was the first time I was totally disappointed. Since there is a BK on the other side of town, on my way home, I stopped there. That one is my preferred BK in Cortland by a long shot.
