If that didn't sound appealing, Hayesville is in itself the weird back corner of the Appalachian mountains, so don't be too hard on them. My Fiancé and I popped in to get some work done on vacation, and wound up spending most of the time befriending the wonderful barista behind the counter, who gave us drip coffee refills and free donuts from yesterday ("Yesterday's treasures"). I haven't Yelp reviewed in a second, but the Fiancé insisted I support this business. Better Together is in good hands with a 4.9, but I'll happily bump them up even further.

We want for a comedy show that was great. One of the nice things about Hendershot's is in my limited experience the shows start at 7:00 p.m., which means it's totally doable on a "school night." My suspicion is it is townie's place. When we went, I did not see any UGA kids. In other words, it's a place for grown ups for the most part. Pro-tip: Get there early for an evening show.
