The shop offers a plethora of interesting flavors, but seeing as I had a lot of food to try while visiting the area, I kept it to one. Peanut butter is a relatively unique flavor and one of my favorites from other doughnut shops that I've visited. I thought the texture of this yeast doughnut was exemplary as it was airy with a nice amount of chewiness. The dough itself had a nice buttery flavor, but I know what you all care about is that peanut butter frosting. That's where things begin to go a bit south as the peanut butter frosting was good, but just too mild of a flavor. A suggestion I have based on some of the best doughnut shops in the country that I've encountered would be filling the doughnut with a peanut butter frosting. That would definitely take this doughnut to the next level. It was still a nice dessert to have with my breakfast and for the price wasn't bad. Comparing it to some of the other peanut butter doughnuts I've consumed though, this one is just okay. Doughboy_Food_Reviews

When I was able to work remotely in Albemarle, I would venture here often for takeout or the lunch hour and it always hit the spot. After sitting down, they always brought me my coffee, no complaints. But this morning, the manager told me my dog was not allowed there, and that dogs had never been allowed there, not in the 4 yrs she'd been manager. HUH?? Why was she lying to me? Why didn't she just admit that she was making a change in their long-standing policy of allowing dogs there? Just the week before, I had come there with my dog and found the green chairs occupied. When I asked the employee if there was another place inside where dogs were allowed, she said no. She did NOT say that dogs weren't allowed there anyway. Good-bye Brewskie's.
