So I just left Dunkin' Donuts on Western ordered a sausage cheese croissant with no egg. I got a burnt stale croissant as you could see and it has egg on it so I cannot eat this. The service was good and fast. The the ambience of the restaurant was quiet and clean so I don't recommend anybody going here if you want other than Donuts. The donuts are fresh and soft and fresh but if you want to get anything else I would recommend that you go somewhere else. read more

I came in on 1/12 at 12.55pm and after I made my order the attendants (2 males) told me my service animal has the wear the service animal jacket which I don't use as you can simply buy that on Amazon. Proof of him being a service animal is his paperwork. But it's Dunkin and we are in Amarillo, people in this city I have noticed are miserable and petty, up to where they illegally refuse service animals. read more

I recently went to the only remaining Dunkin in Amarillo. Unbelievably terrible! Very, very limited selection of donuts. Maybe 3 types, and some munchkins. I didn't even stick around to see how long it would take to get a coffee, as there where only 2 employees, and both of them were to busy with the drive-thru to even acknowledge that I had walked in. Terrible management and ownership to allow this to happen. Those closed the clean organized store, and left us with this one. This is not a made-to-order restaurant. They don't cook what you've ordered if they've run out of a certain thing. Twice now, I've ordered through a delivery service. You have the option to have the merchant substitute their pick if what you order isn't available. I've ordered around 4 PM both times. The first time, I received half of what I ordered and half a hodgepodge of what was just thrown in to make up the dozen. The second time I received the correct coffee, but, out of a dozen donuts and two apple fritters, I only received two correct donuts - again, the rest was just a mix no one was really interested in and no fritters. I realize my orders were placed ten hours into the hours of operation, but it was still five hours from the posted closing time. I can't believe a restaurant would allow running out of items basically in the middle of the service hours. Donuts aren't just for breakfast anymore. You are definitely better off actually going to the location to pick out what you want. At least that way, if they don't have all you're looking for, you can leave and not pay for stuff no one is going to eat. read more

Disappointing morning as I pull up to make a order, I mention one item and I'm abruptly responded to, "anything else!" I said yes?! I complete my order, im not told the total, then when I pull up to the window there is a man in flip flops that hands me my cappuccino. Hello I am messaging you about my recent experience to one of your DUNKIN DONUT stores located at 2823 S Western St, Amarillo, TX 79109 I went to this place today March 13 around 6:00pm and I walked to the door they don't have any sign that only drive-through and they are not open for dining. Then there is this white teenage boy wearing eyeglasses, white T-showing his belly, saw me and he just ignored me when I waved at hims asking if they are open or not. I decided to go to the drive-through to ask if they are open or not. Then the same guy approached me saying "You need to order to the speaker" then I asked him "Why did you you just ignored me when I asked you from the other side if you are open or not, that is just Messed Up" Then he replied shouting at me saying "NO FUCK YOU!!!" This is the kind of customer service this location provide to their customers. I am calling the Corporate to report this behavior of one of your employees. I did not curse him, I said "That was Messed Up and he replied to me, "NO FUCK YOU!" There was another female employee inside who witnessed his behavior and instead of dealing with such kind of employee I decided to leave. HE WAS NOT EVEN WEARING A MASK! So before you guys make a decision to come here to buy something, think twice! This very sad because I was with my kids in the vehicle when they heard this guy cursed at me like that. Just an update... My 5 year old son told me that the guy from Dunkin Donuts who shouted at his dad flipped his finger and he even showed it to me. Normally in Amarillo I am 100% going to go for Donut Stop, but my daughter really wanted to go here so I obliged. When we got there, there was an insanely long line which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It didn't take long to realize it was because they had two girls working on a SATURDAY morning. Right off the bat it is clear they are likely super short staffed & probably suffering from a poorly managed storefront. The employees working were painfully slow, frustrated and mildly rude. I get it, there is a line out the door, the drive thru was a mirror image and these ladies are probably over it. However, this isn't a diner... We are talking premade donuts and microwaveable breakfast sandwiches. With 4 groups ahead of us, we waited a total of 35 minutes to reach the front counter. I am ashamed to have given them my money but at that point, it's a battle of the wills. When it was all said and done, our donuts were as miserable as the employees. We won't be back. Moral of the story, go down the road to Donut Stop where you will find fast service, good quality, friendly staff and fair pricing! read more

I mainly came here to get coffee one day when the motel ran out before I got some. I have loved Dunkin Donuts coffee since the first time I tasted it. They're Donuts? Not so much. We stopped here for some coffee before heading back on the road to Chicago. The coffee was fine. The people working there seemed disinterested and overwhelmed at the same time. Quite a feat if you ask me. I got a cold brew with toasted almond flavoring and cream and hubs got the same but with blueberry flavoring and splenda. It didn't particularly taste like cold brew. I expect a bit of a syrupy feel from the low, slow brewing but it kind of tasted like iced coffee with a higher price tag. What were we going to do, drive back 1000 miles and complain? Lol read more

Zero Zero Zero if possible! Dining room was closed & my family of 3 kids & I walked through the drive through after another car went through. It didn't sensor a customer so we went to the window looking for an employee. We didn't see anyone & I knocked on the window numerous times. I was refused service for rudeness & banging on the window. Employee stated he was alone, in the back freezer & he thought someone was breaking in (in the daytime from a mom with her 3kids in this drive through). I was told I was rude for banging on the window when no employee was seen! I asked to speak to a manager or get his contact (Steven) but he stated he would call him himself. I never spoke with Steven but was ranted at by an employee while he griped & threatened to Steven/manager. Employee told manager Steven "i swear I will leave & I'm the only one here". Manager Steven sold employee to call the police if I didn't leave. 3 kids, 1 mom asking for coffee at a coffee/donut location & being refused service. I did call the police & what a disgrace Dunkin'. Employees do Not have a right to rant, yell & gripe at customers just wanting to be served. We were refused 6/10/21 @2:55pm. The last three times I've been, they didn't have 4/5 of the bakery items. I just went today and their kitchen is closed. Before that, it was 8 o'clock and they didn't have anything because they were unloading the truck. Then before that the baker didn't show so they had nothing. It's the worst. read more

As with most Dunkin stores they have really great coffee and pretty good donuts. The selection was nice even at mid-morning. I was less impressed with my breakfast bowl (sausage & egg), $4.99 for something you can get at other fast food places for $3 or less and with better flavor...it was a sticky gooey mess and merely half-filled the rather small cup. Next time I will stick with coffee and donuts only, or some Baskin Robbins ice cream (also available here). We had a couple of minor issues with things (dirty plastic fork and a forgotten donut) and the young man who seemed to be supervisor on duty was incredibly helpful and quick to correct the issues with a smile. He seemed to be running things well and accounts for a higher rating than I may have given this Dunkin otherwise. read more

I went for my last time to this location yesterday. I ordered a Mint chocolate frozen coffee, when I received it and drove away.... no mint. Just frozen coffee. Might sound like a small complaint but when you order something...you should get what you want. My sons wanted to try something from there so I went again... the place looked like crap and it was early in the morning. The service was horrible. I went yesterday for a frozen coffee, ordered a simple mocha flavored frozen coffee....it was bad... thick chocolate at the bottom and a mess. Do not waste your time! Been sitting in the drive thru for at least 20 minutes now and still haven't had the chance to place my order. I would leave but I'm stuck between two cars. This is not the first time this has happened. Slowest and worst service. They don't ever apologize for the wait or try to make it better. At least 8 cars have driven off. super excited for this store to open. my husband went Sunday morning to get 25 munchkins and a black coffee. he went thru the drive up... about 6 cars in line. parking lot packed. he ordered 25 munchkins .. sugar cinnamon glazed and chocolate .. with a black coffee. he got thru the drive up surprisingly fast. sadly the order we received was very wrong. we caught this once we got home. Sugar Cinnamon and blueberry munchkins and a coffee with cream and sugar. I was extremely disappointed I didn't get my 2 of my fav flavors of munchkins. I ate them anyway. they were great ... but still ... our order was messed up. and the coffee was tossed out. I will return because DD have been my favorite since I was a child. Hopefully the mistakes from this experience can be chalked up to inexperienced staff and will get better. read more

Everyone knows Amarillo's local favorite for donuts is The Donut Stop. Personally, I like The Don't Stop better. You just can't beat their blueberry cake. However my experience at Dunkin' Donuts was pleasing. There was a line of about 15 people upon arrival but it went very quickly. Maybe a 5 minute wait at most. The staff were kind, helpful, and efficient. We ordered a regular glazed (my favorite), a strawberry sprinkle, a chocolate sprinkle, a chocolate coconut, a blueberry, and a Buvarian creme. The chocolate frosting was exceptional and I just loved it! However the blueberry, and strawberry donuts just tasted extremely artificial to me. The chocolate coconut was my husband favorite and the Bulgarian creme was delicious but I thought the creme filling was entirely too sweet. It's sweetness matched the actual a donuts sweetness. I fill there needed to be some variation in flavored. The texture was perfect! The coffee, the coffee, the coffee. . . I hear this is THE GO TO for coffee. I have to disagree. I ordered a regular hot coffee. It was bitter tasting and just NOT what I believed it would taste like. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? read more

I grew up on DD's & was very happy to hear Amarillo was giving it another chance. I get that The Donut Stop is Amarillo's favorite but it's nice to have options. There's no reason they both can't thrive here. I went for the egg white flatbread sandwich, donuts, some munchkins for the kid & of course coffee. Didn't take any pictures, too busy killing it. It was all delicious & the service was fantastic. At some point I'll try the ice cream side of it but for now it's all about the the coffee, donuts, sandwiches & munchkins! It's very nice to have a small piece of my hometown right here in the new place I call home. Tried their croissant egg and sausage with hashbrowns and a mocha coffee. The sandwich was bland but turned out to be the best part. The hashbrowns were few especially for how small they are. I probably got 5 or 6 but they tasted okay. Last was the coffee. It taste like the mocha was merely hiding a very weak and bland coffee. Overall it was a poor experience. I've been going to this location for weeks, months, etc. etc. I've been walking two miles one trip, four miles two trips, because unfortunately I'm homeless. These people have generously donated countless donuts and other goods for me to carry home to my family. I'm not one to open my mouth. On the contrary, I'm a very quiet person. But these people and the employees at this location are certainly worthy of acknowledgement and praise. Though their attitudes, etc. may be intolerable to some other people who I've read reviews, these employees are simply human and definitely deserve rewards for their generosity to the homeless. Just because I wear a United States flag bandanna and support our military, these unforgettable people have held no discrimination towards me and have always treated me with respect. We went to Dunkin donuts and ordered two caramel macchiatos. The lady there made one and started making the other one and then asked for the first one back because she said she forgot to all the flavoring. We received them and left but when we tasted them in the car, one was all coffee and the other one was just creamer and vanilla. We went back and the lady said she had mixed both of our drinks together since she had forgotten to add flavor to the first one, which doesn't make sense at all? Nonetheless, she remade our drinks and they tasted fine. Unfortunately, down the road we noticed we were given cups that had a hole on the side and were leaking. Being flustered at 8am and with a full day ahead of us we decided it wasn't worth it to go back. This is the worst Dunkin Donuts experience I have ever had and the employees were so lazy to pick up the small things like a LEAKING CUP and without forgetting the fact that instead of remaking the first drink she made and didn't add the flavor, she simply mixed the two drinks and messed both of them up.
