If I could I would give him "Double" the stars. Lance and his crew removed an enormous Pepper Tree which was making many problems and it was absolutely urgent to remove it. He quickly squeezed my project into his schedule within days. He was on time, veritably responsible, and attentive to his Employees labor. I was in total awe because this was not an easy project. Not once was he missing from the project. Not too many owners remain with employees to supervise. To me this makes all the difference when hiring a company. He not only accommodated the time, price, but he went above and beyond to make sure I was fully satisfied with the project. Just make sure to ask him if you are not satisfied with anything at all he will work with you. In my case, he returned a second time and was not shy to put in a little extra labor to make sure that I was fully satisfied. You will not regret working with Lance and his crew. After being put in complete shock... when "another guy" tree service came over and quoted me 15 thousand dollars to remove a large pine tree from my yard.... I straight near went bazerk... So I turned to Yelp... and called the first out of my area tree service, I found, for an honest to honest search for some legit tree advice... I was hoping to find a kind, tree person... whom could tell me if I was getting the wool pulled over my eyes in my recent quote I received.... from "the other tree guy".... Lance was awesome... I have never met him, but he had a kind voice, and listened to my "estimate story"..... which sounded more like a "horror story"... one that might have caused me to take a second mortgage out on my house...Lance suggested I text him some pictures of the tree, also to give him my address to look at Google Maps... He expressed his shock on how I was clearly being taken to the cleaners tree wise... and get this folks... Lance did this all on goodwill... he said he doesn't usually do large trees, and said that mine wasn't as large as the 15K price tag I was quoted.., that my tree may be out of his size spectrum, but was willing to help guide me on a trustworthy path to honest work.... I had two rather large tree's removed from my property, with some fencing around the trees. I needed the tree's removed without damaging the fence. Lance provided an affordable quote to chop down a large bush like tree. I specifically asked if the quote would be honored at a future date and his reply was yes. My first tree was cut down that same day with a promise of future tree service at the quoted price. I made two attempts to have him honor his quote. Lance and his crew removed 6 trees on our property at the end of 2013 and we were extremely happy with the whole process! When I first contacted Lance through his website, he got back to me that say to set up a time for an estimate. He arrived a few minutes early for the estimate, was very knowledgeable about our tree issues, gave us a fair quote, and was super nice. Mr. Duncan and his crew did a fantastic job with two trees in my backyard. They showed up when they said they would, were very safe, and afterwards I couldn't even tell they had been there! Customer service is top notch! Lance came over for an estimate. After he saw the very large job required equipment they currently do not own and would have to be rented, he still gave an honest estimate and recommended reputable companies that could tackle the job to eliminate the rental charges. Also, Lance could have just said he can't do it at that point and drove off, but instead he looked around and gave me tips on how to keep the rest of the trees safe and healthy on my own. Wow. This review is long overdue. I had a tree in my front yard that needed to be removed earlier this year. Lance came out the same day I called to check it out and give me an estimate. They were able to take the tree down without me having to be there, I just met him to drop off payment for their excellent work before they were done. They were in and out, no mess, no fuss. They made sure they would have access to my neighbors yard for clean up since the tree was right on our property line. And just as everyone else has already said, Lance is very personable and professional and I would recommend him to anyone. I was reminded to write this review when I recently recommended him to my mom and he came out the same day to look at a job he knew he couldn't do! She needed a large palm tree cut that requires a certain truck I guess to get up that type of tree. But he came out to take a look anyway and give recommendations of who she could use for the job.
