Awesome place! We stopped by on our way through Stockton not wanting a fast food option. The Shanghai noodles should not be missed, nor the soup dumplings. We also had the cucumber salad and beef rolls--both were fantastic. Would order all again, but maybe two orders of the noodles and dumplings--not because it wasn't enough food, but because they are so delicious. We left with leftovers and I can't wait to devour them! I only tried one item here so far but it was so great! I came into this small local restaurant and was greeted so kindly by the owners and then my server helped me throughout the menu and I know they are known for their Xio Long Bao's but I don't eat pork so I opted for the house special beef rolls which were delicious. I do like a little spice with most of my meals and their chili oil is offered at every table so you can add as much spice as you want. There is also plenty of seating here and the restaurant is decorated so nicely! I wish I knew about this place before but I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!! Best pork pot stickers I have had in a long time! The baby boy chow was amazing as was the rainbow rice.

So yummy! We had the xiao long bao, pan fried dumplings, Shanghai noodles, and cream cheese wonton. We devoured it pretty quickly and as we were eating, my kid paused and said we needed to give this place 5 stars. The Shanghai noodles were really flavorful. Came across Dumpling U while looking for a place to eat dinner. They are still in their soft opening phase and I'm glad we were able to try them out while we were in town. We came in on a Sunday evening around 6pm and there were a few groups of people but not overly busy. We were seated right away. The menu was easy to read and I appreciated that they included the number of pieces of dumpling in each order. The decor was nice, simple but cute and the music was good, not overly loud. Our waitress was very kind to explain the menu and point out that the items with the heart symbol meant very popular and highly recommended. It's a family style dining experience where you can order several different dishes for the table so everyone can try the different dumplings, noodles and such. My husband and I love soup dumplings and we really enjoyed all the dishes we ordered during our visit. We ordered the House Special Pork Soup Filled Dumplings, which were much larger compared to other places we've visited but it had great flavor. I'd only recommend them getting larger spoons to be able to fit the dumplings on since the dumplings were much larger than the spoons. We also ordered the Pan Fried Shrimp & Pork Buns which were very tasty. They also had a bit of soup on the inside which was yummy but the bottom of the bun was chewy. We also ordered the Shanghai Fried Noodles which had a great flavor and nice texture to the cook of the noodles. The Shanghai Wonton Soup had good flavor and lots of wontons, it could have had more broth but I could see how the wontons could soak up the broth. I came across this business on Instagram and TikTok, and I had to check it out. To start off, we were greeted by the server, whose name I believe was Kristy She was super sweet and friendly. My sister and I ordered D10 garlic noodles, A1 house pork soup dumplings, and E6 honey walnut shrimp. The noodles seemed reheated, and the taste of the dumplings seemed off. The food was honestly just alright. I want to point out that it was hot inside and there were a lot of flies. The total came out to $56.91 ( I still tipped). What made the experience a 3-star rating was when my sister was paying at the counter; she said that the person checking her out (it seemed like the owner) was really rude and not welcoming at all. The noodles were super thick, packed with vegetables and meat. The custard bun was so creamy, literally melted in my mouth. I had high hopes for the cucumber salad but it fell short in flavor. Personally I didn't enjoy the beef, it was a little tough and thick...I much more preferred the Beef Rolls at Journey to the Dumpling in Elk Grove. My husband and I stopped by for the first time on a Sunday lunch after shopping. Although it wasn't busy with dine-in customers, we still had to wait quite a while for a server to take our order. I probably should have waved her down, but after waiting too long, I asked another staff member for help.
