And not too thin where they would fall apart. Very well-balanced. The dumplings also did NOT stick to each other. They also had a good proportion of chicken and spinach. Frozen dumplings are also available to-go, see picture. Taiwan Beef Noodle Soup - My wife chose this dish. It was way better than it looked. The meat was tender (my wife did not think so, but I like mine a little firm with texture). Good flavors. Good combination of flavors. The broth was also good. Had a great experience at Dumpling Capital in Santa Clara, it was everything from service to food was spot on. The decor was very basic but everything was clean and well-kept up. We were greeted and had our order taken promptly and the dumplings arrived in good time very hot and fresh. Parking here is usually tight due to the size of the lot so keep in mind, but there's plenty street parking towards the residential side. The server was nice and the food was okay. To be honest, nothing was really special but nothing was bad hence the 3/5. read more

My family loves the hand made frozen dumplings. We stock up on them, easy and delicious dinner. I tried the dishes at the restaurant, unfortunately I'm not a fan of the cooked dishes, I thought the seasoning and the condiments lacked that umaminess. The staff is very rude, the manager was insulting. They only treat people of Asian appearance decently, and even then I witnessed rudeness towards them; they are racist. I went here with mini me for our quick lunch. The parking was very limited because they shared with other businesses, but luckily we got 1. The place was quite busy but we got seated right away after the staff wiped the table. Unfortunately, the table still had a strong soy sauce smell. We ordered xlb, wonton noodle soup, and xlb bun. The foods were delicious but the xlb skin was in a thicker side. The chili sauce was delicious. The food flavor and chili sauce were similar to our favorite dumpling place probably a bit better. However mini me and I didn't like that the place was not as clean as our favorite dumpling place hence 3 stars. Found a place for dumplings that's not Din Tai Fung. There are many other options besides dumplings. Menu has other dinner items. Perfect place to have a good meal. Service was quick. We've been going to the chiropractor across the street from this place for YEARS! I wish we'd come in sooner! Wow. What a great meal for a great price. Per recommendation from another reviewer, my wife and I ordered the Won Ton Soup. The won tons arrive in their own container separate from the broth & veggies. This keeps the won tons from getting soggy. The won ton were plump with filling (the size of dumplings) and were the best won tons we've ever had. The Won Ton soup gets 5 stars. We also order chicken chow mein and stir fried green beans. Both were good. The green beans were a bit overly seasoned so we combined the string beans with the chow mein to balance out the flavors. We'd give these dishes 4 out of 5 stars. In addition, we ordered Siu Mai and Har Gow dumplings which I would give 4 stars. Lastly, we ordered pork buns. It was $15 plus delivery it came to $20... I was surprised as to how hot the container of the spicy pork.. spicy pork and the noodles were in separate containers.. . Combining them together, made them the perfect temperature to eat... I would have heard it to be more spicy, but it got my attention without making me too sweaty. Despite being dinner time, it was not as busy as expected, which was shocking. We ordered A22 (cucumber + black fungus salad), E5 (honey walnut shrimp), H15 (kung pao chicken), H21 (Mongolian beef), J1 (shrimp and pork wonton soup), K7 (Dan Dan noodles), and L8 (beef spicy hot pot), all for takeout (total was ~$125). IT WAS DONE WITHIN 10 MINUTES!! Honestly, I was shocked when the person taking our order said 10 minutes. The honey walnut shrimp and kung pao chicken were an absolute hit for my family. The portion sizes were great and both dishes were delicious. I would say my least favorite were the Dan Dan noodles. I've had this dish one other time at another restaurant and it didn't taste the same. Lastly, the wonton soup would be perfect for the winter nights and/or those kicking a cold. Came on the weekend for lunch and we were seated right away. The restaurant has maybe around 10 tables so it can get full during meal time. Service is pretty quick and food came out quickly too. Overall I would give 3.5 stars for the food but I would bump up to 4 stars for the service and the fact they also offer frozen dumplings to go. Items ordered: - Marinated beef pancake roll: Beef had a good flavor and comes with cucumbers. The pancake itself was just very thick and doughy as I have tried other pancakes which were thinner. - Garlic flavor green onion pancake: Same as the marinated beef pancake roll where the pancake itself was very thick and doughy. Garlic flavor is strong and might overpower the green onion flavor, so I think I would get the normal green onion pancake. - Pork and chives dumpling: Can never go wrong with pork and chives dumpling. - Soup dumplings: 6 pieces which were decently sized, flavor was good. - Sichuan spicy chicken and spinach wonton: Comes with a lot of chili oil which gives the flavor. - Dan Dan noodles: A different take on dan dan noodles than my previous times eating this dish. YUM! My son and I have been here a few times and food and service are great. We decided to take a friend and her son to give it a try. Location is in a small strip mall with limited parking but you can find street or parking in the shopping center across. Place is small with only a few tables, so recommend going early if you don't want to wait. You can also see folks making dumplings in the kitchen by hand next to the actual store front. Food comes out super quickly and the servers are very friendly. Our go to is the XLB soup dumpling and pan fried soup dumplings. Both are so flavorful and the filling is cooked perfectly. We also tried the classic pork and cabbage dumplings. Classic flavor and so good with a bit of soy, vinegar and hot sauce. This time we also tried chow mein and green onion pancakes. Both were delicious. My friend's son got a popcorn chicken bento box plate and the portion was very generous and he loved it. The cold cabbage side on the bento was shockingly amazing. This was an amazing little cozy spot to grab a quick lunch. There is a decent amount of seating and service was really quick. The food was really all-around amazing. We started with the soup dumplings, which were pretty standard and delicious. Can't go wrong! I'm not sure I'd get the dandan noodles again because I like them a little less oily and more peanut-y, but they were still really good. The spicy pork and Napa cabbage dumplings were insane--so flavorful and juicy. The pan fried pork buns were also SOOO good, they were really juicy and the texture overall was just soft and crunchy. We came in on a Sunday night for dinner and it was surprisingly really busy but luckily we got a spot. We were quickly given menus and I began to scan on my phone to order. We ordered the pork xlb, spicy wonton pork, stinky tofu, and lava buns. Pork xlb 3.5/5: I love xlb but I thought their dough was on the thicker side and I generally like it on the thinner side similar to DTF and 88 bao bao. The soup inside the xlb was good and the meat was juicy. Spicy wontons 4/5: This is a classic when going to a Shanghai restaurant and it was good it had a nice quick to it and most places usually aren't spicy at all. The dough was a good consistency and the flavors were there. Stinky tofu 3.5/5: I liked it but some pieces were warm not hot. I've also not seen stinky tofu cut in a long way, it's usually cubed but it was pretty good. It wasn't too stinky but it was nice and crispy. Molten lava buns 3.5/5: I'm not sure if restaurants order these frozen but presentation wise they came out very unpleasant and it was quite disappointing. 1/4 of our buns was squished and did not rise properly. The dough was very dense it didn't give off that fluffy texture. The egg yolk was good but definitely needs help with the presentation. Overall, this is a good quick eats spot! Pricing is pretty average for the portion and the food is pretty good. The menu has a large variety and their reward system is pretty cool once you join. My husband and I came here for a meal because we randomly stumbled upon this place - their menu reminds us of another local dumpling restaurant near where we live. We were seated quickly and ordered beef chow mein, green bean pork dumplings, sauteed green beans, and Thai iced tea. The food literally came out within 2 minutes of ordering! Food is definitely legit but noticed that the dumpling skins are a bit soggy (likely overboiled?). Ordered on the phone for pickup and was ready in about 15 minutes. The plaza has a really small parking lot. There is residential parking but even that was full. Thankfully there was one open spot when I arrived. I ordered the pork and shrimp with chives dumplings, beef chow fun, and Thai iced tea. All three for $33. The dumplings were delicious. A dozen pieces for around $12. You get double the amount for the same price if you buy their frozen dumplings and wontons. The beef chow fun was tasty but very salty. Thai iced was $3 (cheaper than most boba places) and just how I like it. Staff was friendly when I came to pick it up. Place looks small and at around 12:30, only had about 4 customers.
