Me, my family, and our employees have been long time customers here. After our bad experience today, we will not be coming back again. Hadn't been here in a few months, and after returning today, what a whole new experience. The cashier, who I've never seen before was extremely rude, and short with both me and my wife. The beef fajitas were very undercooked and chewy. Not sure if it's under new ownership/ management, but the old crew is gone, and seems like it's gone down hill. Love, love, love this place! I live in Hawaii and have to come here every time I am in The Woodlands. Everything is made in house except the sour cream and cheese. 2 stars for the homemade corn tortillas and friendly service. Unfortunately seems a bit overpriced for pinto beans rice and protien. to add any authenticity or great flavor (cilantro, or avocado, crema) you have to pay 50 cents additional per topping which is a small portion for the price one has to pay. I feel a bundle of cilantro is well around .99cents and whole avocado .30 to .50 cents at store. It adds up and makes and already over priced dish more overpriced. For 3 plates and queso dip we spend well around $30 and left unsatisfied. I won't be returning. If i do I will get the two tacos and soda for $5.50 maybe additional toppings come with that for free. Seems to have a solid customer base and happy customers. Might be worth a shot for the tortillas and steak. read more

The food here is always good and fresh. My only complaint is there iced tea is watery. If you go at lunch time they're always busy which is actually a good thing. Just goes to show that the food here has a good flavor and it's always fresh. I'll definitely go back. read more

Dumass is the best Mexican food around in my opinion! The spicy beef tacos are delicious, the pork enchiladas are wonderful and the dumass special with the fried egg on top is mouth watering! The rice and beans are delicious and the food comes out hot!!!!! The two salsas are fresh and homemade as are all the other ingredients at Dumass taco (tortillas!). I love the portion size, plenty of food for one person to fill you up but not disgustingly insanely huge portions like you frequently get at other places. The price is spot on too. Sauces are hot and peppery, thought I usually end up adding Cholula or Tapatio once I get my tacos home. Service: great people work here. Always friendly, always attentive, and make it just the way you want it. Food quality: best tacos in the Woodlands area. I lived for many years on the border and this is real Mexican, with real Mexican flavors. The tortillas are awesome. I recommend a torta if you want a hearty meal. It would have been really good if the food was seasoned. Everything tasted the same, no flavor whatsoever. It's fresh, no doubt, it's homemade, no doubt but please put some flavor in there. Season that beef and pork and chicken when u cook it please. My husband did get a chicken quesadilla to go and that things actually really good. But the burritos, yea not so much. Maybe they do season the chicken when they cook it but the pork and the brisket were definitely not and for that price, I expect to get spectacular food. Delicious taqueria in a strip shopping center. Easy parking and access. The food is fresh, made to order as it should be with this type of food. The burritos are huge and filled with what you like. I ordered the Thursday special. I didn't realize they were closing in 30 minutes and I didn't because they were nice and accommodating. The special is a layered enchilada. The tortillas were homemade. I chose the spicy beef. It was served with rice and retried beans. He offered me mild and hot sauce which were both homemade. I asked to get it to go and when I got to the hotel I was impressed how it was done. It was in an aluminum (round) with a cardboard top. The tacos at OK, but the decor is a little tacky. I live down the street and I waited months for this place to open. I almost camped in the parking lot when they got close to opening because they had closed taco cabana and moved my favorite Mexican food truck farther away. I went in and just wasn't excited anymore. Only 4 stars because the chips and salsa are not free (a God given right!). The food was a 5. I had the spicy fajita plate and it was spot on. Meat, spicy and tender. Beans, homemade and delicious. Guacamole, chunky and fresh. Tortillas, soft and fluffy. This is an order off of a steam table kind of deal so I understand charging for chips but still not right. Place is one of the top choices around the Tomball area. Great staff, great queso, terrific tortillas. The meat cuts are a little tough but not undesirable other than that. Place has something for anybody, including some more traditional stuff. Tortilla is probably the best part, its made fresh with a little flower left on the outside similar to lupe tortillas.
