But Gabriel and Keenan made it literally so easy! We went from test drive to leaving with the vehicle in two hours. Volkswagen Duluth focuses on customer service, and doesn't act like they are doing you a favor by helping you buy a car. We as consumers have the choice to take our business anywhere we want, and my husband and I definitely recommend Gabriel and Keenan at Volkswagen Duluth.

My experience with Keenan McGovern was disappointing. During the sales process, he was friendly and…read morehelpful, but after we signed the paperwork for our certified pre-owned vehicle, his communication and approach changed noticeably. We traded in our previous vehicle, but the title was still at our families home in Michigan. Keenan told me that this wasn't a problem and that once I returned to Michigan, I could simply mail the title to the dealership. Based on that conversation, I believed everything was taken care of. I was surprised when he later called and told me that I now needed to sign a power of attorney because the dealership had already sold my trade-in before receiving the title. This was never mentioned during the purchase process. If selling the vehicle before receiving the title would require additional paperwork or legal authorization, that should have been explained from the beginning. Buying a vehicle is a significant purchase, and customers deserve clear and transparent communication throughout the entire process. My frustration isn't with having to sign the paperwork--it's that the need for it only came up after the dealership had already sold my vehicle. More transparency upfront would have gone a long way toward building trust and avoiding unnecessary frustration.
