and brought them in every year to get serviced. last year they charged me $500 to service the wheeler and sxs said everything was normal so I thought that was fine. besides they left a huge puddle of oil on the bottom plate of the sxs that ended up leaking all over my brand new trailer. when I brought it to their attention they had nothing to say and was basically a F-you to me. so I went there again this year thinking it was just a 1 time bad experience. But man was I wrong. The 2 machines last year were $500 total. This year just the wheeler was $650. They said everything looked good except it needed a new belt. I thought it was kinda strange to have to replace the belt on a wheeler when it's not even a year old yet but stranger things happen I guess. Then I asked to see the belt and they refused to show me the belt And now I'm pissed. Long story short they charges me $1100 to do normal service on 2 wheelers this year and when I asked about the huge price Increas they just said .... Ya that seems high. And that was it. Needless to say I will never spend another dollar at lawn and sport again. I can just assume the owners family feud with the brother that use to own the shop in moose lake caused a huge financial strain on him so now he's screwing the people that come to him for service. So be very careful. And get a price before u let them touch ur machines. my advice find a local small garage that services atv's and sxs or go to Grand Rapids or even down to the cities. It's alittle further but atleast you probably won't get screwed. read more

0 stars, Go anywhere else, Sonju in two harbors has been amazing, moose lake Polaris is great. would not recommend anyone to go here. The owner refused to order me a 6x6 sportsman and did not have one available so then when I purchased one from another dealer and had a service issue he refused to service my machine because I didn't buy it from him and proceeded to hang up the phone on me and told me I'm not welcome at his dealership. poor attitude and zero customer service. my entire life I have never been treated that poorly and for the owner to talk to me in that way is just a disgrace to his company name. read more

The most unorganized operation I've worked with in a long time. If it were possible to give less than 1 star I would. Highly recommend going to Denny's in woodland or acme tools across the street. Hate to say it but I think even Home Depot would be better. I bought a piece of equipment from Dave that was already sold two different times. On the second time I Scheduled a pick up for Thursday, decided to call the day before to coordinate all to find out the mower was already sold. To add insult to injury it was actually sold before he told me I could buy it in the first place. read more

I have driven by this place many many times and today stopped in to look for a snow blower as we have one of our famous Duluth lake effect storms headed our way later today. After discussing new blower options, the sales clerk asked about my current blower. After telling him it was 3 years old he suggested instead of buying a new blower to have them fix my old one. He also suggested ways to maintain my blower in spring/summer. They now have a permanent customer for my lawn/sport/snow removal needs. Called to make a purchase of a new Ski Doo snow machine and after speaking with 2 people about an AVAILABLE unit that I was interested in and agreed on a price, I was called back a second time and was told they did not want to sell me the machine because I was not a LOCAL customer and would not be bringing the machine to their service department. This was an OVER FULL RETAIL purchase price of the machine that was reversed. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!! Better customer service is out there!! read more

Not a "horrible" experience but beware of brining anything in for service the cost is ridiculous I had a dirt bike tire that I just wanted to have the tube installed (I had the tub and old tube out. Literally a 5 min job. I just did not have the right tools so I figured why not give the local guys some business. They have a $25 min shop fee. Which is more than fair. So I was expecting a higher than normal bill of $25 to install the tube. When I got there the bill ended up being $38.... I have had tires fixed at to other locations and with having to purchase A tube and install I paid $20 each time and that included the guy taking time and adjusting the spokes. This place in my opinion is a rip off at those prices they are more about gouging the customer than actual customer service. To follow up on this I was charged tax on straight labor. Which in Minnesota is illegal. read more

The charged me over $900 to fix my ATV That wouldn't stay running. I only had it for two weeks and then had to bring it back to them for an additional 3 weeks to fix the SAME part. Then when I picked it up it still wouldn't stay running and it now knocks and ticks on top of it and the engine is shot! When we explained our outrage they did nothing and just let us walk out the door. Horrible customer service! I will NEVER return!!! read more
