As far as sales departments go they are fine. 3/5 stars for sales. But service here is 1/5 stars…read more They are just plain rude. They give snarky remarks and act like you're inconveniencing them when you ask a question about the work done. Not only that. But if you're a female and come in, they will try and put one past you and charge you for stuff you didn't need done or shouldn't be paying for because of warranty. I own two Subaru's and actually started driving both my cars to white bear lake Subaru for service because they are so much more friendly and reliable.

I showed up on time at 11am, handed the service counter my keys, and went to the waiting area. Over three hours pass without any communication, and then the customer rep comes out and tells me they can't get my wheels to fit, and that I need new center rings and lugs, but that they didn't have any in stock, and that they couldn't source them. What kind of service technician (of 30 years apparently) starts a job without checking fitment first? This is a Subaru Outback mind you, at a Subaru dealership, and they can't get the parts? He apologized and said they were putting my old tires back on and they'd be done shortly. That shortly lasted another hour before he came to tell me one of my tires was being "finicky", he apologized again and said they were almost done. 20 minutes later he finally comes to get me, and in the end I paid over $400 for tires I can't use. But they did give me a free car wash at Kwiktrip! Ooooo They charged me for an incomplete job, wasted my time and money, and now I have to get the work done somewhere else. Never again will I visit this dealership. Horrible service and terrible work ethic.

Go to Rice Lake, WI or the cities of you need to see a Kia dealership. Been using this dealership for the many Kia recalls, but every time (5-6) they always waste your time and have been left with more repairs to fix what they do not care to fix.

WARNING DO NOT GO HERE Kia of Duluth put my family in…read moredanger--and refused to take responsibility. After a second oil change (see below), Kia of Duluth failed to properly secure the drain plug. Weeks later, while driving on a busy highway with my child, the plug fell out. White smoke poured from the car. We thought it was going to catch fire. We stood in the cold, far from the vehicle, while emergency services responded. Another Kia dealership confirmed the plug was missing and the engine had no oil. They stated it was highly likely a service error--not a maintenance or warranty issue. These plugs don't just fall off unless they're not torqued properly. Kia of Duluth caused over $10,000 in damages and showed zero accountability. No apology. No concern for our safety. Instead, they tried to blame me for not noticing oil leakage. I did not notice any leakage. After I said I'd file a complaint if needed, the store manager stopped responding. This was dangerous, expensive, and handled with complete disregard. Stay far away. ADDITIONAL CONTEXT LEADING TO ENGINE FAILURE Before the catastrophic breakdown, I had already experienced serious issues with Kia of Duluth's service. I was originally quoted over $800 for a repair, but after calling other Kia dealerships and Kia of Duluth's own parts department, I discovered the actual cost was significantly lower. I never confronted the advisor--just asked for the correct price to be honored. After that, communication stopped. I was never told when my car was ready, and when I picked it up, Dave would not look at me or speak to me. While driving home, I noticed the oil change sticker wasn't in the window and the oil looked dark. I called to verify the oil had been changed, but they couldn't confirm it. At that point, I asked to be refunded--I was tired of the poor service and wanted to get my oil changed elsewhere. They refused to refund me and insisted I return. I drove three hours round trip, and that's when they performed the oil change that ultimately led to the oil plug failure and engine destruction.

I've never been to this dealership before, as I typically go through another dealership near my hometown, so I was expecting mixed results. They had my car finished in just over one business day without an appointment, and didn't charge me anything for the parts and labor since this is a known issue with Nissan. Additionally, I asked them to check my right front wheel bearing, and they did so without any other fees. I will definitely be coming back here in the future!! Thank you so much Krenzen folks!

I recently brought my Nissan Frontier to Krenzen Nissan because the ABS and traction control lights…read morewere on, which also disabled my 4x4. I paid $200 for a diagnostic, expecting that a dealership would be able to accurately identify the issue, after my local mechanic could not. I was given a confident diagnosis that the problem was an incorrectly installed wheel speed sensor. Based on that assurance, I scheduled the repair. That's where the experience started to fall apart. I took time off work and drove two hours to the dealership for my appointment, only to be told after I arrived that they didn't have the part and couldn't work on my vehicle. No call, no warning--just a wasted four-hour round trip. I told them during the initial diagnosis that I lived two hours away so you'd think they could have informed me at least at the end of the previous day. I was told I would be given a discount for the inconvenience. The appointment had been scheduled for over a week. I had to leave the car there at the shop for a few days for what was supposed to take a couple of hours, and find rides back and forth to the dealership. When the sensor was finally replaced, I was informed that the replacement did not fix the issue at all. The original problem remained exactly the same, meaning the initial "diagnosis" I paid 200$ for was incorrect. Despite this, I was charged $1,200 ($400 more than the original estimate) because the job supposedly took longer than expected. This was not run by me at any point prior to me coming to pick up the vehicle. So to summarize: I paid more than quoted for a repair that didn't fix the problem, based on a diagnosis that turned out to be wrong. When I raised concerns, I was told there was no flexibility on the bill and that a service manager would call me the following Monday. That call never came. This experience shows a complete lack of communication, accountability, and diagnostic accuracy. Dealerships charge a premium because customers expect expertise and reliable service. In this case, I received neither. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing their vehicle here for diagnostic or repair work. This is also the only negative review I have ever written but have felt strongly compelled to do so from this totally negative experience.

We did not have to wait long because we had made an appointment with Jeff Van Meter. He greeted us and brought us in his office to do paperwork and pre-approval. I had told him right away that we wanted to do a joint vehicle loan and we are married. He said since we are married and live in Wisconsin that is the best way to go. He tried to upsell us on other trucks which is totally fine because that is their job. We took the one we ended up buying for a test drive. I told him it had a chip in the windshield which he said they would set up to replace which they did set that up a week later. We told them we wanted it. Jeff and his team started the paperwork. I know it takes some time but when the guy that did the paper work came out to finalize the paperwork it was only in my husbands name (which also meant a slightly worst interest rate because I have a better credit score even though his isnt bad). When I mentioned it to the manager he just said Jeff didnt say that. My husband was pretty frustrated with being there so long with the kids he said whatever. Now I get a letter from the bank that did the loan saying "since you are married you take responsibility if he defaults on his loan but since you weren't on the loan it wont help your credit score". They do not listen to people even though Jeff had insisted that it was a joint loan in the beginning. When my husband leaves and meets back up with my children and I, he lets me know the backup camera isn't working. After trying to get a hold of Jeff for multiple days he says that he would "check with the used vehicle repair man" to see if they would cover it. I told him I understand it is a used vehicle but it worked when we test drove it AND it was advertised on the website as having a working back up camera. After a week of him not getting back to me, I am sure we are just written off and have to "deal with it". Also, the remote start advertised doesnt work on any key fob either You are just a number at Northstar Ford and not a person. Once you leave they don't give one crap. We will not be purchasing any more vehicles here. I should have listened to a friend that went to purchase a brand new vehicle last year and was treated rudely. Lesson learned, I guess. I also left a Google Maps review and someone said that the manager would reach out to try to resolve this ASAP and that was 3 days ago.
