My 2015 Nissan Altima had both right rear control arms snap while I was parking last week, and I had it towed to the Krenzen Nissan dealership. I've never been to this dealership before, as I typically go through another dealership near my hometown, so I was expecting mixed results. They had my car finished in just over one business day without an appointment, and didn't charge me anything for the parts and labor since this is a known issue with Nissan. Additionally, I asked them to check my right front wheel bearing, and they did so without any other fees. I will definitely be coming back here in the future!! I recently brought my Nissan Frontier to Krenzen Nissan because the ABS and traction control lights were on, which also disabled my 4x4. I paid $200 for a diagnostic, expecting that a dealership would be able to accurately identify the issue, after my local mechanic could not. I was given a confident diagnosis that the problem was an incorrectly installed wheel speed sensor. Based on that assurance, I scheduled the repair. That's where the experience started to fall apart. I took time off work and drove two hours to the dealership for my appointment, only to be told after I arrived that they didn't have the part and couldn't work on my vehicle. No call, no warning--just a wasted four-hour round trip. I told them during the initial diagnosis that I lived two hours away so you'd think they could have informed me at least at the end of the previous day. I was told I would be given a discount for the inconvenience. The appointment had been scheduled for over a week. I had to leave the car there at the shop for a few days for what was supposed to take a couple of hours, and find rides back and forth to the dealership. When the sensor was finally replaced, I was informed that the replacement did not fix the issue at all. The original problem remained exactly the same, meaning the initial "diagnosis" I paid 200$ for was incorrect. Despite this, I was charged $1,200 ($400 more than the original estimate) because the job supposedly took longer than expected. This was not run by me at any point prior to me coming to pick up the vehicle. So to summarize: I paid more than quoted for a repair that didn't fix the problem, based on a diagnosis that turned out to be wrong. When I raised concerns, I was told there was no flexibility on the bill and that a service manager would call me the following Monday. That call never came. This experience shows a complete lack of communication, accountability, and diagnostic accuracy. Dealerships charge a premium because customers expect expertise and reliable service. In this case, I received neither. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing their vehicle here for diagnostic or repair work. This is also the only negative review I have ever written but have felt strongly compelled to do so from this totally negative experience. read more

we have been bringing our Nissan here a few times now this last time they didn't have the parts to fix it so we made an appointment 3 weeks later- showed up checked in and sat in waiting room- hour and half later they came to tell us car was done but never did the washer fluid reservoir because the part wasn't there- I was upset as we drove over an hour to have this done and this was the important part as it's winter you need washer fluid- the guy did not make an apology just said it was our fault for asking for a used part. we didn't ask for a used one we wanted a new but they said we couldn't get it so we asked if they could do used since we needed it in. The next day we called and asked for the manager because I'm sure they forgot to order it nothing takes 3 weeks shipping these days- the manager still never apologized just said it was our fault for not calling to see if the part wasn't in. no one ever told us to call or wait for a call before coming the over hour drive, he then told us it was common sense that we would call- this ticked me off as still no apologies and the fact we planed on buying a new car this spring and maybe two if the price was right- the manager would not listen to us speak kept saying it was our fault- bottom line is I had high hopes for Nissan and a simple apology would have been fine or maybe even a discount off the labor for needing to make another long trip but nope this jerk feels the world should know how they do business and it common sense to need to call before an appointment- sure hope they call every restaurant, gas station store before they make a trip to it to make sure the service will be available- so not only lost the service visits also just lost at least one car sale probably two. nice people in the sales department but clearly not organized in the service- after this they said the part would be here in a week, weird that's about normal time almost like they forgot to order the part in the first place. After multiple visits they were unable to repair my vehicle. They damaged it in the process. They refused to take responsibility for the damage. When I got angry with them, they refused any further service. All along the way they misled, lied, and gave me the run-around. Would give zero stars if it was an option. They stated on multiple occasions that I didn't purchase the car from them. On this particular point, when I was purchasing the vehicle I gave them the opportunity to match the price of another dealer, and when I did the sales associate slammed the phone and hung up. Don't buy a Honda elsewhere and expect it to be adequately serviced if you live in Duluth. read more

If your a female and alone, dont go here. They ripped me off from start to finish. I decided (stupidly) to go by their word about a car I was interested in. The next day after "waking up" I wanted to bring back. The dealer said "NO" Then I asked to talk to the owner, he actually said "no one put a gun to your head to make you buy the car". I couldnt believe it!!! Horrible company!!!! PS my transmission went a year later this was after getting ripped off 3,000 more then the car was worth. Go somewhere else!!! read more

Bought a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica here only to find out that it's transmission is failing. The only way I was able to get any sort of response was by going there in person. Was promised a remedy. That never happened, wasted two weeks waiting for them to do something. Eventually went and picked the van back up to deal with myself. Horrible experience, will never be back. read more

A friend of mine was interested in a car at Krenzen. He lives 300 miles away and asked if i would look at it, seeing as i was familiar with the specific model and he was so far away. I looked at their web listing which was absolutely perfect. it had every specification of the car i could ask for in a neat organized manner. i later went to check the car out in person. Upon my arrival, i was greeted by a friendly receptionist and was put in contact with the salesperson i needed. During my time looking at the car and driving it the salesperson was extremely unprofessional, condescending, and rude to say the least. that was the single largest turnoff for me about this company. He was literally arguing with me at one point. unfortunate that such a great company hired such a feckless salesperson. The car itself was fabulous, everything seemed well in order. the price was firm but fair, so no complaints there. Unfortunately the salesperson turned me off so much i went a different direction. other than that it seemed to be a top notch establishment with a great selection of vehicles. read more

Customer Service=Lack of Communication. Quick run down on experience: Told me 45 minutes for an oil change. I was in the waiting room for an hr and half without any word. Thought something was wrong with my car. Waited to get someone's help to ask the status of my car only to find out it was ready for awhile. No one ever said anything to me. It's not the wait that bothered me, it's the fact that no one ever said anything the whole time I was in the waiting room. I'm use to communication or even updates when someone is working on my car. Krenzen was lacking communication which is something I strongly value with customer service. I'm not sure if I will give them another try. read more

We recently bought a used vehicle here. Not a brand they sell new. Never the less, that was not a issue for us. We knew we would not return it to Krenzen for service. That was after reading reviews of the place on Yelp and elsewhere especially. By the way, read the reviews on yelp that are "not recommended". I cannot see why they are not recommended, they seem legit, even though they are all negative. Ones elsewhere are negative as well. While going through all the motions before completing the sale, they reacted ok, although in hindsight some things should have raised our eyebrows. After the sale was completed, we ceased to exist, seven weeks later we still have not received our plates and they will not answer emails or calls. We also found a problem that happened at their dealership, but they refused to take care of it. They did do a oil change, but did it incorrectly. We had to have it redone at a proper dealership. All of this adds up to a place that is not very customer oriented in my opinion. I would not do business with them again. This not 1958. Pricing was ok on our non-trade deal I have to admit, but there is more to a many thousand dollar transaction than writing a check. They fell short. read more

DO NOT bring your business here. Especially if you have leased a Honda from here, bring it elsewhere to return. They attempted to give me quite the run around and pin all of these bogus end of lease charges on me. One of the worst things they tried to extort from me was putting new tires on the car before I returned it. According to an honest Honda dealership, this is not the case and dealers can ask for certain things to be 'forgiven' by Honda. Putting new tires on would have increased the resale value of the car for Krenzen and I'm sure that is what they were after all along. Again, DO NOT return a leased vehicle here--you can bring it to a dealership that will not try and take advantage of you. I brought the Honda to a dealership in the cities and they were appalled that the crooks at Krenzen were trying to charge me to return my lease. After inspection, the Honda dealership in the cities let me simply walk away, as it should be. So unethical of Krezen to lie to clients. At least call around and get straight answers from another Honda dealer before dealing with these slime bags. My family and I will never do any more business here. read more

Bought a used vehicle with under 80K miles and it had problems within 24 hours of driving it off the lot. Sent it back to their shop, they told me they were replacing a censor. Car worked fine for almost a week before the same issue sprang up. Again, back to their shop. They told me they installed the first 1 or 2 wrong, awesome, so this third one finally did it. Less than a month later, the starter goes out (the censor cause the car to die constantly and was hard on the starter) and I had to fork out another $600 for their "service" which included a new battery they said they put in before selling me. Which means the new battery went bad within 3000 miles? This all happened within 3000 miles of purchasing the car. THEN, I bring it in for an oil change at the local Jiffy Lube and they inform me that the transmission fluid is BLACK! Which means the dealership didn't have the decency to check and change the little things. VERY POOR service. read more

these people are scam artist. I bought a 2010 low miles a day later the tire was rubbing on something the salesman says it is winter its ice. it isn't but wouldn't even look. month and a half later check engine light came on they still would not look at it. couple months later diving down the street power steering goes out also the electrical system is screwed up the service air bag lite is on does it work or is the lite on for nothing? I had to buy new brakes all new tires because they have been rubbing on something and are no good. now to get the check engine lite off the air injection valve and something else doing with the air need to be fixed-$550.00 also my exsoust system needs to be fixed because its falling off $125.00. need I say more I should not having to be putting all this money in a 2010 car I only had for just over a year. when I went to them in the beginning the salesman treated me like a stupid woman they don't know anything about cars. I went to Krenzen with an unusual request. I had two vehicles to trade in. Going in I wanted 60K in trade for both. I arrived with the first car asking 45K. They came back at 41,500. I asked the salesperson if he thought they could get to 20K on the second vehicle. "We're really close. It's not going to be a problem" He takes out pen and paper. "Here's what the numbers look like at 20K. My boss may give you 21K. Here's what the numbers look like at 21K"! At this point I'm about two hours into this transaction. I am told they have to see the other vehicle. I told him I had to drive all the way home and bring the vehicle up. Roundtrip of almost 20 miles. I was given the impression that it was just a formality-We're really close. Go home; switch vehicles; drive back up there. I'm told to take the vehicle I'm looking at for a test drive. "Come back in a half hour". I go get a burger, and come back 40 minutes later. Now I'm four hours into this. Salesperson waves me in the office. "You're not going to like this". (Oh no, 19K? 18K?) No. 15K! And that's as high as they'll go. Thing is, they KNEW at the outset that they weren't even going to get close to 20K, yet they kept stringing me along. They advertise that their sales people don't work on commission, so they will get you the best deal. The first part may be correct, but it doesn't mean that they won't mislead you and try to get you to the point of signing. Bottom line: The guy wasted half my day. He was misleading and dishonest. Stereotypical car salesman. Quite possibly they are all like this, but it would be wise to avoid the stealerships that you KNOW will mislead you. read more
