My daughter was refused care by Dr. Denny because she had Covid recently. According to health…read moredepartment guidelines she had been cleared, no symptoms, and over 14 days since she was diagnosed. She has a history of detached retina and was experiencing floaters. She was treated for a detached retina about 5 years ago. However, Dr. Denny advised that he reviewed her chart and due to her history and age he didn't think it was necessary for him to see her due to the "Covid risk" to other patients. He was sure that her floaters should go away after a few days..... The last time she had floaters for 1 day it was a detached retina, BUT ACCORDING TO HER CHART SHE WAS FINE. It is disappointing that Covid has made providers afraid to take care of people. I wonder how Dr. Denny would feel if this was his daughter? I pray he is right and she is fine! I would NOT go to this practice. The 1 star rating is for the pleasant receptionist.

I had to have some laser work done on my right eye a few years ago and went somewhere else. All of the staff was super helpful, the location was nice and Dr. Denny couldn't have been better. Explained everything and made it as comfortable as possible. I hope I won't need to have this done again but if I have anything eye related come up I will go back there for sure!

So, I woke up Thursday morning, put on my glasses, and noticed the arm was broken--just my luck…read moresince I was headed out of town and these are my only pair! I rushed over to My Eye Doctor as soon as they opened at 9 AM, hoping they could help. But honestly, the girl at the front desk barely looked at my glasses. She just told me they couldn't fix them and suggested a jewelry store down the road. No help or options offered at all! When I asked more questions, she mentioned that my glasses are no longer carried there and that my insurance benefits for the year were all used up. It felt pretty dismissive. I finally asked for my prescription, which she said is good until January 16, 2026. This is the second time I've had a lousy experience here, and it's definitely the last. I took my prescription and headed to Costco instead, where they really came through for me. I ended up getting two new pairs for a little over $400. Plus, the tech there even fixed my broken glasses to hold me over until my new ones arrive. All in all, my visit to My Eye Doctor was frustrating and left me feeling pretty unsupported. If you need eye care, I recommend looking elsewhere where they actually care about their customers!

So I am editing my previous review. I had an issue with the service on my first visit but will say…read moretruthfully and honestly that this office rectified my situation amazingly. Brian, the manager was extremely professional in his response to my issues. They re-did my glasses and didn't even charge me for the correction. I do highly recommend this location as they showed me that if an issue occurs, they will fix it expeditiously.
