They are Santa Fe's only certified wine storage facility for the private sector. Climate controlled units are inside, with several locker sizes to chose from. They also sell wine racks and locks and have dollys for moving your merch into its new home. There is a room which looks like it is being set up for wine tastings perhaps. This place is just what Santa Fe needed. The main selling point though was Jordan, who went out of his way to go over everything they had to offer, and did so with a smile and patience as my dad asked innumerable questions. Hey, if you're a wine connoisseur you are passionate about your bottles, and it was great that the gentlemen there understood this and was just as enthusiastic to help answer all of his questions and concerns.

Then, Samantha at 900 San Mateo went so out of her way to help me cancel my rental at her location and get me what I needed at the Rodeo Road location. There, Dee also went out of her way (and calmed me down, as this whole thing has been so whacky) to help me, explain how things worked, took me directly to the locker, and like Samantha and the gentleman at the first location, was kindness and helpfulness personified. The lock we used was one purchased from Extra Storage on San Mateo and the thieves were able to unlock it somehow. Since their cameras didn't catch anything and it's been some time since we were at the space our renter's insurance through Progressive is denying our claim since it MIGHT have happened before our coverage was started. A storage space that doesn't secure it's premises and and insurance company that doesn't cover losses.

Another unfavorable practice is that the Customer is told the the rental rates will increase within 3 to 6 mo. When one asks for the reasoning, one is told: The Computer does the up charge & staff cannot change this. What was once a single storage facility became so much more. Leaving you with several blocks of units to choose from. Greg Solano is the property manager, and a right helpful guy, who assisted us in getting moved from one unit into a bigger one as our needs grew. He was also very helpful in deciphering the unit numbers and locations code. Each unit number assigned is four digits, but only the last two are on the actual locker, and the first two designate the block the unit is on in order of the facility being purchased. Yeah, I know. Super confusing. When renting a unit just ask him to point you to the specific block you need to be on. The facility isn't new, and the surrounding fences could use some work, but the prices are right and the location is convenient if you are in North Santa Fe.
