What a PLACE, the staff was amazing the atmosphere of course the food was of the charts. I had a slice of all MEAT pizza. Which cost me $12, while a entire pie cost $86. Which would feet 6 to 8 people, a slice was all I could do to finish it. Others had pizza, muffaletta sandwich and finally chicken parm. This is by far a hidden gem in Ybor City. While in the Tampa area make your way to Ybor City and try Due Amici.
They sell huge pizza slices with a wide variety of toppings! I got a tomato ricotta basil slice which was one of the couple vegetarian options that night. Friends enjoyed their meat slices too! It's perfect for a late night bite after going out. Pizza was delicious and great service. If I lived in the area I would be more likely to order for delivery! They do not have tap water but the hostess offered us a couple complimentary water bottles for our group.
Omgosh, we loved this place! It was recommended to us by a local and it did not disappoint! The pizzas are huge so consider ordering by the slice if you aren't able to take home leftovers! We had no regrets about our combo pizza, pasta carbonara, Caesar salad and delicious bottle of wine! Every bite was scrumptious! The chef came out and we told him how fantastic everything was! Then later he brought us free dessert! Cannolis and cake! Yum! This is a lively place that you have to try in Ybor!!
Fast/casual spot in downtown Ybor, with friendly staff that appear to genuinely care. Pasta is handmade and served piping hot! A tad pricey for a walk-up spot, but comensurate with the quality. They were kind enough to provide complimentary canolis and a take home can of sauce! Alfredo is fire!
Great spot, we walked in randomly while checking out Ybor. The place is quite large inside with lots of seating. Plenty of different slices of pizza to pick from ready selection or you can make one to order. I grabbed the pepperoni as it's my go to. Its was promptly warmed up and even more promptly devoured. The dough is really good. Portions are quite large and prices are great. If you're in the area give them a try!
The pizza polar has many toppings to choose from for your pizza. The restaurant is super clean and it's quite a few other entrees on the menu. :-) I haven't been to Due Amici in awhile. Since we're walking the strip, I decided to order a huge pizza for my family. My grandkids love pizza, so I ordered a pepperoni pizza. The owner is super friendly and so are the employees. It's hot outside, so as I waited for the pizza to bake, I sat inside the restaurant. I also ordered a water which was free and a coke soda. The pizza was delicious, and my family was stuffed. We had a great day today in Yubor. We will be back, soon. :-)
Great slices! Huge portions, served piping hot. Crisp crust. Lots of topping varieties. I loved the white pizza (my all time favorite). The chicken cutlet on the buffalo chicken was spot on. Lots of seating and spacious interior. Great spot for a casual lunch or dinner.
Pizza was fresh and delicious. Please keep in mind, this pizza is enormous. I ordered a large and 6 of us couldn't finish it. There were 2 pieces left over. Worth every freaking bite! We had this delivered and did not eat inside, so I can't speak for the inside. However, delivery was quick. It was still hot upon arrival!
Pizza alone is worth the 5 stars for me! I'm sure their other food is good to but came for pizza and their slices are huge you only need one. The pizzas are pre-made so you can see which one you want you tell the worker they pop it in the oven and the line keeps moving. By the time we paid for our pizza it was heated up. We opted to eat in. They have some seats inside for eating. Saturday night this place stays busy yet moving. I had the bbq chicken pizza and omg it was delicious. I love a place that uses fried chicken on their pizza it is far and few inbetween. It's thin sliced pizza. If I'm back this way I have to come back.
Nice pizza place. Most pies are premade so you see what you get Got the capese slice. One slice is all you need as they are generous slices. Had that with an ice cold Yuengling and I am ready to continue walking Ybor City. The place is great. Can see why they are so highly rated
OMG. Amazing pizza and people. This is worth every minute it takes to get here. We had a huge selection available all fresh and interesting. The owner handed out free cannoli and spent time talking with my wife about kids and grandkids just like you find in a family restaurant. We will be here each time we are in Tampa and will order online! GO!!!!

First visit during lunch on a Monday. Heard much hype but overall experience was average. We found street parking a block away for under $5 for 2hrs. They had a wide selection of pizzas on display for ordering by slice. I got the Florentine and stuffed meat lovers. None of the slices are labeled with price. Will go into pricing at the end. It was open seating and there were plenty of tables. Slices are heated up in the oven and brought to you. The primary issue I experienced was that my food was not heated enough. It was warmish but the cheese on my slices were not hot at all which was especially noticeable in the thick stuffed slice. The contrast was also notable when compared to my wife's slices, which were heated very well and warping their plastic forks. So it really felt like I was eating leftover pizza at the restaurant. Despite that, the pizza did taste good. Just could have been much better if food was hot. As a new local, my wife thinks their white pizza is the best in the area so far. I enjoyed my Florentine pizza and would stick with the NY thin crust slices next time. Also, their women's restroom was out of handsoap. The greatest downfall of the experience was reviewing the receipt later... regular slice was $6.77 and stuffed was $11.99. There was also a 3% credit card surcharge and they do not accept cash. I tipped an automatically calculated 20% which was calculated based on the inflated total of food plus tax plus the cc surcharge. Cost of food was fine but overall cost did not meet expectations. Knowing what I know now and what I experienced, would not pre-tip at payment again.
Never ever ever order take out from this place...I ordered a chicken Stromboli a chicken quesadilla a chicken parm panini and 2 slices. The only thing that was right were the two slices. I got half a Stromboli, the chicken parm panini was just mozzarella and chicken on a soft gyro bread no sauce or Parmesan and def not a panini style and the quesadilla was absolutely nothing like the photo it had mozzarella and chicken no other cheese blend (yellows such as cheddar etc) as shown in the photo... what a waste of money read more

Amazing slices! Even better customer service. We got four to go and didn't make it halfway out the door before we tried them all. Can't remember the names of them all but they were all great and warmed to a perfect crispy bottom. I highly recommend the white sauces! $25 for the 4 slices. Very large slices though. read more

no frills, the place have a long dinning table in the middle and a few other seatings. just simplely good thin crust pizza of wide varieries. I saw the guy hand tossed the pizza when one kind is running out, it remind me of pizza place we visited when in italy. make it fresh as it goes. i also like the pasta with basil sauce, lot of oliver oil. read more

The pizza tasted so fresh and delicious, it wasn't really greasy like most pizza places in the area. The tiramisu was to die for! The service was slightly confusing as a first time customer since the pizzas on display for slices didn't have any labels and the food service employee wasn't very personable. The restaurant is small but nice inside, I enjoyed getting to eat at the bar area by the window and people watch. I can't wait to go back and try many other menu items! read more

From the moment you step through the door you feel special. The guy behind the counter making pizza welcomes you and begins telling you about the offerings. The atmosphere was like a family gathering with smiling faces and happy conversation thanks to the operators of this business. They wrote the book on hospitality. As for the food-superb. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. Quality cheese. Mouth watering sauce and just enough snap in the crust you know it was made with love. Due Amici is a gem and you don't want to miss the experience. I live in Fort Myers and I will drive back again to visit this wonderful owners and operators. read more

I wish I went to this place sooner and I wish I went more than once!! This place is DANK. I don't think there's any better word to describe these slices of heaven!! The slice is HUGE and DELICIOUS. This shop has a vast selection of options for pizza and if you're as indecisive as me, you'll just want to try them all. 10 hours after adoring each pizza, I decided on the slice with tomato, basil, mozzarella and the balsamic glaze and honestly no regrets. The owners are also SO sweet and fun to be around!! Definitely on my top 10 list of pizza shops. read more

I have decided this is probably my favorite restaurant/food place in the Tampa area. Husband told me about it and so we went on a little date day. Downtown Ybor on a Monday afternoon was perfect. We got the experience of the area but didn't have to search high and low for parking. They sell pizza by the slice or full order but their by the slice or item is the ticket to this super cute location. They offered pizza, calzones, double decker, and garlic knots by piece or slice, which is always a win. I ordered buffalo chicken and chicken bacon ranch slices. My husband got the meats double decker and buffalo chicken as well. The slices were huge. I could have probably been satisfied by one slice but who only has one!?! Not this girl. The pizza was thin crust but unlike your typical Tampa thin crust, it wasn't soggy but perfectly cooked yet perfectly crunchy to the bite. The flavor was pretty good. I will say the ambiance of the location definitely added to the experience because it was small and simple yet felt large and upscale. I will say that I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken on the pizza due to the fact it was more like a chicken tender cut up and added to the pizza where I believe a grilled chicken would have been a better flavor. The pizza creator Chris was super informative and really kind. Did I mention they sell 28 inch pizzas?!? Yes they do! We will be back for sure. read more
Shoutout to my boyfriend for introducing me to my new love, Due Amici. This pizza spot means everything to me. I'm not sure how I have lived in Tampa for so long and missed stopping in. This is the BEST pizza in my opinion here's why: This place is located in the middle of Ybor which is walking distance from any bar in the area. So when I crave a slice after a few drinks, Due Amici is right there. Oh, yea and the best part is that they are open super late almost every day so even on an odd weeknight, I can still have pizza. For a pizza shop in Ybor, this place is really clean and has an awesome staff who never seem to take a break. I have gone at so many different times and the place is always busy. They are always making new pizzas or serving guests which is awesome. I like the hustle and bustle of the shop. Now, if we are talking pizza, my recommendation is the barbeque chicken. THIS IS THE BEST BBQ CHICKEN I HAVE EVER HAD. Not only does the pizza look good but it tastes even better. The sauce they use is a sweet bbq, which for some magical reason, just meshes so well. The slices themselves are also super big so one is usually enough for me. I will say the one kinda weird thing is that they have off-brand soda. While I know it probably tastes exactly the same, I just can't get myself to try it. So either I order the pizza to go and grab a soda from the 7-11 or I opt for water. All in all, if I'm getting pizza, I'm coming here. Pro Tip: Pizza always tastes better with ranch and the bbq chicken is no exception. read more

Due Amici Pizza & Pasta Bar on 7th Avenue in Tampa is a great place to go for delicious pizza sides, and drinks when you are hungry and want something good. I really like the atmosphere and location here and the experience that they provide. The staff here works hard to make sure that you have everything that you need. read more

Love love love!! This place is located in central Ybor right in the middle of the action. The vibe of this place is spectacular! Super cute place inside and it just had an overall fun relaxing vibe. The two men that helped us were so sweet, so kind and had such great personalities and so fun!! I can't rave enough about that. Food can be good anywhere you go but if the service sucks, it kills the whole experience. I just love everything about this place and I definitely recommend it. Pizza was delicious and the cannolis were to die for! They also have their own wine but unfortunately I wasn't able to try that this visit so I will be back for that :). The prices were good too! Definitely worth the visit if your strolling around Ybor and need a place to grab food read more

Good pizza I heard. Too bad we waited in line for over half an hour and were told we couldn't order because we had to get in line. Yeah. You read that right. This one girl who works there told two people in our group to get in line so they weren't able to order ANY pizza EVEN THOUGH WE HAD BEEN WAITING IN LINE ALREADY. Then we talked to the guy who works there and he said THE SAME THING. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've never experienced this ever at a restaurant. Shame on you. read more

First time here and most likely last time. I came across this place from Grubhub. I ordered for delivery and after doing that, it got canceled. I had ordered the chicken parm hero and once it was canceled, I wasn't even able to find it on the menu. Then I had to order the chicken Parmesan entree which should come with garlic knot bread and Cesar or house salad and it didn't come with that either. I didn't notice that until I looked at the menu. I don't think this is right. I have ordered previously through Postmates, Uber eats and door dash from other places and everything was included. So I get to the restaurant, the area is not the best! I got there and sign says wear your mask, the two people working there were not wearing it! I asked for utensils and the guys thought I asked for sauce so that Wasn't great. The food lacked flavor, there was barely any taste! I don't recommend this place! Prob won't return either read more

If you're looking for a great lunch spot to go to with your office team, due amici has the food and the space to accommodate a large team and large appetite. It's one of our favorites, fresh pizza, drinks, and the salads / wraps are absolutely amazing. This time around i went with their chicken pesto panini and it was worth it. The fresh basil pesto and house made olive oil complimented the fresh bread. And to top it off, the complimentary cannolis have me scheduling my next lunch date. I'll be seeing them soon! read more

I wanted pizza that was fresh and on the authentic side. As I searched for pizza spots I discovered Due Amici on Yelp and placed and order for delivery. I viewed the images prior to ordering, but was surprised at how large the slices were. I ordered a large 22" pizza (half cheese & half sausage). For dessert I ordered cannolis and they were delicious. The only reason I'm not giving five-stars is because the delivery wait time was long and I live less than a mile away. When I received the pizza it was lukewarm. Aside from that, it was a near perfect experience. read more

Authentic NY Pizza, Absolutely delicious. The Owner Gino is Italian who grew up NY. He and his family run this family business. They make fresh pasta and sauce as well. We had a whole pepperoni with mushroom pie with extra delicious sauce. Freshly made right in front of us with skill. We are definitely coming back again and again! read more

After a day at the beach, we were looking for a pizza joint. We found the best NY Pizza style restaurant in Due Amici!! Since we are from NY, this definitely is authentic. We ordered a 22" sausage pizza, ( they have several styles of pizza on display, and we didn't know you could order by the slice) it was Awesome!! In downtown Ybor City, nestled among the bars, cigar shops and stores. Definitely a must go to place for pizza. My only recommendation would be to offer real forks/knives. Looking at other plates served near us, everything looked terrific. Homemade pastas, cannolis, sauce (we are getting one to go) and a large selection of beers and wines. Definitely a stop on the next trip to Tampa! read more

Great staff. As soon as I walked in had a seat at the bar. Ordered a Yuengling beer and I commented to the bartender, whom I knoe suspect is the owner, that we cant get that beer in California. He just said "Next one is on me!" super friendly, and oh my God the pizza!!!!! read more

From the moment I walked in the front counter man was extremely rude.I tried to brush it off. Then we got to our destination to eat the food (as it was takeout ) to notice the mozzarella sticks had ZERO cheese in them. Every single one of them. I typically only write great reviews as I work in the restaurant business, but I could not let this go. Unfortunately you will need to be aware of this establishment. read more

When visiting Tampa we always stop by Ybor for some of our favorite pizza. Always served fresh and warmed before serving, the slices are large and full of flavor. This restaurant is open late and always clean and professional. We recommend this spot for a snack at anytime of day or after a night of fun in Ybor City. The space is large to accommodate wheelchairs and strollers and has open style seating. read more

It would be easy enough for any place selling pizza on the main part of the main street of Ybor City to offer even substandard pizza and still coast by making plenty of sales simply due to location, but thankfully this is not at all the case with Due Amici. Instead, what we have here is a classic family-run neighborhood pizza parlor that isn't short on other Italian favorites either, including their cheese ravioli and their house salad which takes a standard of many restaurants and really makes something impressive of it. The pizza, of course, however is the main draw here as it should be: it's some of the best New York style pizza I've had in Florida, and something as simple as their plain cheese slices even are pretty impressive. The space is inviting, the staff friendly and prompt, and for what Due Amici is, they're doing a very good job. I feel the menu could possibly be expanded a bit further--there are a lot of traditional, creative, and tasty pasta dishes you just don't find at hardly any American Italian restaurants and given the high quality of everything here, seems they could expand their pasta offerings a bit and probably find that to be a huge success for them, but you really can't complain: for a neighborhood pizza parlor they're doing a stand-out job. read more
