The service included moving the venting system to another wall, replacing the tile on the fireplace floor and tiling the wall. Also, it included replacing the siding in the location of the old vent. I did not have to worry about cleanup as they removed everything and even vacuumed the area where they were working. The price was very much in line with what I was told by other people. There were no surprises. Joe and his crew are very customer forward, they answered all of my questions and explained what they were doing at each step of the process. I could tell that they knew their job and did it well. I would highly recommend this place.

It's been a long road on my part and I should be giving FireSide 5 starts just for dealing with me and doing the back and forth phone calls and emails. I just like things perfect what can I say. I decided to go with the 30inch Escape there highest end model for that size. Added the wifi package so I can control the fire from my iPhone of course. Jamie was the brilliant representative I worked with and he was very patient with me and explained everything more than twice. They offer a warranty and extend it for a fee. Plus the warranty on the fireplace from Heat N Glow. This place just seems to have the best equipment and a huge selection. I just had my fireplace install finished yesterday. They did a wonderful job and I love the outcome. I'm even thinking of buying a 2nd for my basement. On a sidenote, after the burn in clean I was putting the frame back together after cleaning which is something I don't think anyone should do except a professional, and I just so happen to have scratched my custom back surround. Fireside was nice enough to have someone come out and totally repaint it and it looks great. They charged me nothing for this service. They also replaced my chimney cap with the black square one and I take fault in not telling them todo that the first time. I just didn't like the SS tube. I was only charged for the extra cost of the black vent. I would definitely recommend this establishment over the competition.

They got it set up and started, and I noticed the (fake) logs were broken. What, were they trying to get rid of bad inventory? I pointed it out and the installer went "Oops!" and had to go back and get some intact ones. This past week, on the coldest day of the season so far, the fireplace wouldn't stay lit and kept cycling on and off. I called - they won't even take calls unless the showroom is open, only a few days a week. I finally called when they were open and got the voice mail. I left all the proper information and here nearly a week later they have not called back. Fortunately the problem had reset itself after several hours of a cold basement. I would have just canceled an appointment but would have liked a callback and explanation. I would have even gone to the store if it was still broken. Perhaps it's fortunate I did not have to.
