The hotel only has two rooms, a small bar, and two separate dining areas, with a beer garden outside. On our four day stay in one of the rented nearby cottages we where literally two minutes walk to the bar from the house, with three of the days we ended up here on most days at lunch time till close. Food is served at lunch times and the evenings and also we ate here three days out of four, and the food was pretty good serving the likes of Fish & chips, macaroni cheese and burgers to name a few. The bar area is small, and choice was limited, but I think this was due to the location, and locals didn't seem to go out drinking. Overall we had a great time here, and would recommend The Inn at Kingsbarns to anyone that was passing through or staying nearby.

It also came with samphire, one of my favourite greens. I was pretty full after that, but manfully struggled on to the dark chocolate torte (sans ice cream), which was a perfect finishing touch to the meal. Herself opted for the cheeseboard, which had a nice selection of local cheeses (but not too much) with grapes and water crackers. Full marks for the cuisine, slightly less for decor and service.
