Outstanding, gluten-reduced beer! Plus, weekly events like Comedy Night, SD Bluegrass Jam, and Jazz Jam. Duck Foot brews exclusively gluten-reduced beers, all of which are full flavored and delicious. I recently enjoyed a tasty Porter past Midnight, which was full of malty, roasted flavor. Very drinkable and not at all bitter or coffee heavy. The folks at the Bluegrass Jam made the afternoon pleasant, and tacos were available just outside. The smoked marlin taco was wonderful. It is hard to believe that they opened 10 years ago! I am a fan of Duckfoot, and highly recommend giving them a try!

Second time coming to Duck Foot for a Cocu Social (cooking class) and let me tell you Duck Foot never lets me down. They offer a variety of diffrent brews making sure everyone can enjoy a beverage of their liking. My go to this time was the 2am Tacos which is a mexican lager. Super smooth to sip on and light. Good addition to this cooking class. They also offer free water, an arcade that does have a photo booth. They tend to have food trucks in their parking lot incase you're hungry. PS you can leave your car parked overnight which is such a huge PLUS. Thanks for everything Duckfoot, see you soon!

This might be my favorite brewery in the area. Vibes are always great and fun. Good mix of the older crowd, new parents, and young professionals. A lot of space on the inside and the variety of beers is fantastic. Food vendors are always pretty awesome. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want to try something new.

Came here to have a happy hour after work. I was surprised for how many people were here on a Wednesday. The line was a little long but moved quick! Sat in the outside area and it was very nice. Tried their guava and mango beer. Enjoyed my time. Would recommend to my friends.

Great selection of craft beers on tap.

Great selection of craft beers on tap. The tasting room is dog friendly and they have tables outside that are sunset facing in the afternoon.

Some of the best beer in SD and I've been to quite a few breweries out here. IPAs, blondes, pale ales, etc. staff is super cool at both locations. Cool games for guests creating a fun vibe. Nice merch too and good music. 5/5

2AM Tacos - refreshing Baja lager

Duck Foot Brewing in Miramar next to the pyramid. What sets Duck Foot apart from the rest are the Gluten reduced beers which makes it a great option for patrons who have gluten sensitivity. On this visit I went with the cerveza style lager appropriately named 2AM Tacos. I asked the bartender about the name and he said they were sitting around eating tacos at 2AM and decided that a beer like this would go good with tacos at 2AM. Great name and great story. I loved this lager as it is perfect with a meal. Love the fact that there is ample parking and plenty of seating both inside and outside. I had a great time spending my lunch hour at Duck Foot Brewing and cannot wait to go back.

Dog friendly, cozy interior and plenty of outdoor seating. Plenty selection of delicious beer. It's close by to fellow Miramar breweries like Ballast Point and Pure Project but this place has a warm aesthetic with its own unique character. Definitely recommend checking this spot out if you haven't already!

I've been here twice and both times were ok. It's great that they have food trucks and comedians sometimes. However, their beer and slushies were not my type of drinks.

Never thought I'd have such good rating for this place. I hated it when they were mainly a gluten-reduced brewery. I didn't like the beers. But now, wow, what a change. They have a wide variety of beers and almost every single one that I've tried was above average! They also have lots of events and hoppy hour from 4:20-6:20 where the Liquid Jam is only $5/pint. They have seatings both inside and outside and there's even a small arcade room!

Cool small hangout spot for beer, love the drink and vibe. Price is reasonable. Will definitely come back to try out more beers

Cool spot to hang out in town. Love the vibe and food. Will definitely will come back to check out more beers.

The Kook Slams IPA from Duck Foot Brewing!

Always enjoy trying out the breweries in San Diego! The latest one was Duck Foot Brewing. With this brewery experience Steve and I had the Kook Slams, an IPA which was pretty good. It was a solid installment to our brewery adventuring. Flavor highlights to expect with this beer is hoppiness, sweetness with a definite dankness presence. The body of this beer is fairly creamy but still is a fairly light IPA which I can appreciate. Had a good time with my first beer experience with this brewery.

We heard about this place from someone in Old Town San Diego. We stopped by on our way home from our visit to San Diego. What a great find. Located in an industrial area but easily accessible off of the freeway. Great environment with plenty of seating and some outdoor seating. All the beers our gluten free which is awesome. My wife got a flight and also tried a couple of others. All were tasty and an amazing variety. Inside were a couple of tv's and shirts and accessories to shop for. Both bartenders were very helpful and knowledgable. My one suggestion as this is a gluten free place. Creating a partnership with the local pizza shop (Pastalini) which is around the corner. They have some gluten free options which we picked up and brought in with us. If each business supports each other it could be a win win. The reason this came up is there was a food truck on site but it had no gluten free options. The staff allowed us to bring in the pizza and salad which helped make our stay at Duck Foot much more enjoyable.

Service was friendly and what you expect from breweries in SD :) Where I think this could use some improvement though is their food game. We picked up the Gochujang BBQ Pulled Pork and the Fried Chicken Sandwich as well as the Dipper Fries. The mixture of BBQ and Gochujang left the meat in a place where I know it was seasoned but it has a very flat taste to it that didn't feel fully complimented by the rest of the sandwich ingredients. To be fair I have not been impressed by a lot of pulled pork and I would say this is what I would generally expect. The buns felt unnecessary and it would probably be better as a standalone meat dish. Fried chicken is a tough arena for competition and with places like Dave's hot chicken, Chik Fil A, and Crack Shack, you're better off NOT ordering this here as it's not nearly as flavorful. It's cooked well, but just doesn't have the same kick or original taste you'll find from the other places. The one lettuce leaf I got in there made it feel like cafeteria food if I'm being honest... Dipper fries saved the meal for us as the way the fries were cut was unique and gave it a nice texture. TDLR: Beer is good! Food... maybe eat before or bring something with you.

I think the people there were also surprised to have us come by, because they asked how we came across the place. Apparently it's recently gotten taken over by a new owner and remodeled. The interior and exterior is super cute, with kawaii Japanese decorations all throughout. There's also a cute cat theme throughout, with a little paw print stamped into the wasabi and little ceramic cat chopstick holders. The food was reasonably priced and also delicious. My favorite was the Inari set, which were very plump and full of delicious fish and juicy tofu skin. The Ajitama eggs were also yummy, and the sauce it's marinated was good enough to drink up after. When it came to the rolls, there were so many good ones to choose from, I'll have to come back to try more of them. We went with the Sanji's roll and the Buldak roll. Both of them are really well done, but I still think the Inari set was the star of the show for this meal. I also saw they sold other rice dishes/dons, which looked good, and I'll have to try that another time. There was also a selection of sakes and beers to try. Didn't try it this time, but there was a yuzu sorbet that I would want next time. Overall, this place is a hidden gem, the staff is friendly, the interior is cozy, and the food is affordable and good quality. I almost hope this place doesn't become too popular, but I'll be happy for them if it does.

We were immediately seated at one table by the speakers. The music was blaring right at us, it was a bit loud and the owner noticed and turned it down a notch. Service is an area of improvement and could use a little more support. Nonetheless I think they are family owned and really tried their best! I thought the rolls were a bit on the pricier end. This is what we ordered: - Daruma Roll (5/5): This was my favorite dish of the night! I like scallops and might be a little biased but this worked out perfectly with the ikura and yuzu aioli. - Citrus Hamachi Roll (4.5/5): This was my fiancés favorite and my runnerup. I wished it was salmon on the inside instead. - Protein Roll (4/5): Solid but nothing spectacular, it's just like any other protein roll but the price was a bit steep. - Inari Set (4/5): Flavorful, great for sharing, and perfect introduction to inari - Shrimp Tempura (3.5/5): Would pass on this next time - Annin Tofu dessert (4/5): I love almond tofu but I'm not sure about the granola and it's a little on the sweeter side. The crunch adds texture but perhaps something else besides granola might suit it better like
