Normally a beer drinker but dabble in ciders sometimes, wanted to try this place since I was in the area. Ciders were all amazing! Also really liked that they had a bourbon barrel aged cider on their tap list. Bartender was really nice and helpful, they also have chips and dip for snacks to munch on as well. Will def come back again to try everything else they have to offer!

Happy hour flights, food truck, and trivia night, what more could a girl ask for?! My friends and I had a great time at Newtopia Cyder for our first experience there! Many of us are big cider fans and the variety offered was amazing! My husband and I each picked a flight and then he went with their peach whiskey cocktail. I appreciate the fact they have so many options available for drinks for everyone's preference. The space was crowded for trivia night but it was a very fun night with friends and a great trivia location with a great host! Highly recommend if you're local to the area and love trivia to stop in here on Tuesdays!

This is such a great local spot for a casual hangout & to enjoy some refreshing flavors. If you're not into beer or hard kombucha, this spot is the perfect in between! So may fun flavors on tap to try. I love getting flights here. And best of all, it's kid & dog friendly. Appreciate the games & connect 4 but wish they would get refreshed/wiped down bc they're super sticky, dirty & the connect 4 is broken. Love checking them out on Thursdays after the farmers market! Everyone here is v friendly but they always seem short staffed.

It's all incredible! Come down and tip back a couple ... Farmers Market on Thursday is our favorite! Christina is our favorite, and our favorite flavor is #tropicalheatwave (hint) . Parking and the location are just perks, The true gem is the cider! Love the industrial lay out and the hell is always spot on!!

This was a cute spot. We came trying to get in on the music bingo, but we were too late. Caught the last 5 minutes...looked fun, so will try to catch it another time. I had the venom cider which was pretty good. I liked how they offer a few different size options. Again, if they end up having the music bingo again, I will try to check it out.

We tried a Newtopia cider at a bottle shop in Orange County and have been dying to stop by ever since! We came in on a Saturday afternoon. Just a few others when we walked in, but it certainly began picking up by the time we left. Our bartender was so kind and offered us samples of anything we thought looked yummy. We couldn't decide, so we opted for a flight of POG, Backstreet Blues, Bludacris, and Mondego Slay mixed with Sandiahz (bartender rec). Our favorite hands down was the Backstreet Blues! A little on the sweet side, and the "windex" color made it silly and fun. Runner up for me had to be the Bludacris (which we got some cans of to take home), while my partner enjoyed the watermelon Mondego Slay/Sandiahz. There is seating indoors and outdoors. We opted to enjoy our flight outdoors to pair with the great weather. We got cans of Bludacris and Isle of Sin to go. Can't wait to come back!

This was my second time at Newtopia and each time have had a good time. It's a nice space with both indoor and outdoor seating and a dedicated parking lot. Kids and dogs are allowed (the front outdoor area is a great spot) and there are some board games you can play. The bartenders are also very friendly and service was quick. Their menu is pretty diverse with different flavor profiles and also included some cocktails. One thing I was hoping for was the Filipino food tent they had the last time but looks like you could order pizza from another business. This time I ordered the POG and Montego Slay which were fruit forward and tasted like juice, but be careful it sneaks up on you! I will definitely return when I'm in the area next!

Newtopia Cyder is a cool place to be. Hang out, lounge, and have some deliciousness all in a welcoming atmosphere. I stopped in to check it out for the first time a few nights ago and was not disappointed at all. Located on Caroll Canyon Road, you can't miss it in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego. While they do not currently offer any food, you are welcome to bring in grub from outside and enjoy it here. I believe they have food trucks on certainly nights. There's a bar area as well as some high-top tables and some comfy couches in one corner to just chill with friends. They also offer some casual seating options outside. You can ask to sample whatever they have on tap. Thanks to the gentleman working that night (I didn'tcatch his name =( ), I was able to taste before I bought my 4-pack. Not bad at $15 for 4 cans, and you can mix and match. So far, I've tried the S.O.S. and the Pom Pom Punch. S.O.S. is definitely sweeter, but I like them both. I'm gonna have to go back to pick up more! Stop in if you get a chance. It's right off the 15 freeway, so it's a good spot to relax before fighting that traffic madness! Lol

Chai me a river, and cider flight of 4

LOVE this cider place. My favorite is chai me a river! (Not much of an apple flavor person, which chai has some apple notes) however it's subtle, and taste AMAZING. Newtopia always has a variety of ciders, they do change up flavors as well, so getting a flight is the best way to go until you find your favorites. The employees are super nice, and will let you sample a few when asked. Cool patio to bring your pup, and you can bring your own food. Also, inside has a lounge area with games!

I had booked a table for 10 people online as I had called TWICE to make sure they were open May 4th at 4pm earlier in the week (their hours changed/inconsistent). I had people showing up and it was still locked closed, no lights on, no one around at 4. Customers were coming, my friends were waiting in the drizzle rain for 30 minutes. Called, no answer and decided to go to another bar at 4:30pm. People were still coming hoping it would be open. Disappointed as they didn't have a sign up and I was scrambling to make other arrangements (people were coming from 20 minutes away). Called later/friend checked around 6:30pm and it was still closed.

Ample seating, chill vibes, wide variety of cider drinks. Easy go-to brewery-esque spot. Drinks are a bit sweeter than preferred for cider, but would come back again! :)

I ordered the TV dinner with brisket, macaroni and cheese and slaw. I also ordered their lemonade, which they did not have enough of to pour me a full serving. The bartender gave me a cup with a little bit of it, and it tasted good. I ordered a sweet tea in its place and asked for lemons, but they don't have lemons. The tea came out and it was OK but seemed like it either came from concentrate or was made a couple days ago. I mixed in the bit of lemonade that I had and that was good as an Arnold Palmer. Our food came out almost immediately. My macaroni and cheese and brisket were barely warm. The macaroni and cheese had heavy Velveeta shells and cheese vibes... just OK but nothing special. The brisket had a very good flavor but was very dry. It came with barbecue sauce, but I'm not a fan of barbecue sauce so I ate it like it was. The slaw was excellent. My friend got an order of fries which were delicious, I ate a bunch of them. She also got these jalapeño peppers that were wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cheese and I think pulled pork. She seemed to like them a lot, but she said that she's gotten them before a few times and every time they've been different The bartender that served us was really nice, she was happy to make recommendations. I thought the interior of this business was really nicely put together. Very clean and well organized.

I personally like mead more than wine, and upon my visit to Temecula, I was excited to be able to try this place! We came in during a lull, and the owner Derek was there to personally serve us. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly an excellent maker of mead. He even has a variety of fun events you can sign up for like Viking nights where they have axe throwing and turkey legs, as well as Mead-Making classes with the man himself. We went with two of the flights: the new seasonal flavors and the classics. I was a big fan of the seasonal flavors, they were sweet and crisp, and the different fruit flavors really shone through. I liked the Thor's Courage the best of the classics flight, it was a sparkling mead that tasted the most like just classic honey mead. We asked for a recommendation based on our likes, and he offered us a glass of the Golden Butter Bee Mead, and it tasted as good as it sounded. It kinda was what I think Butterbeer should taste like. We ended up taking a bottle home. He also shared with us that he started his company in 2019, right before the pandemic, and he was able to survive by using his own truck to deliver mead all over the country. If that isn't a testament to his dedication to the craft and the quality of the mead, I'm not sure what is. Will definitely be back when I'm by Temecula, and I want to try to make one of the events sometime soon!

I could not have been more happy to have had the chance to come here! Derek is extremely friendly, and Batch Mead hosts multiple monthly events from their viking nights to their mead making courses; he is so incredibly knowledgeable in his craft, it is delightful to just sit and take the time to listen to him talk about his passion. Built into an industrial park (like many breweries today), the decor was incredibly tasteful and I really appreciated what he was able to do with the space to make it warm and welcoming, down to the glasses he used to serve the drinks. Now to the Mead itself, we ordered two taster flights as well as a glass of the Golden Butter Mead. To sum up my feelings about the entire ensemble, absolute perfection! Of all the mead I have had (which is a surprisingly large amount), Batch Mead blew my mind. If I was ever to try and describe what good mead should be, Derek's would be what I was describing to a tea. They ranged from semi-sweet to very sweet, but were all absolutely amazing and worth the drive up to Temecula alone. I will not only be returning, but this will likely become a staple in my drinking rotation!
