This place is a fun chill spot for a friend/family link up, or coffee & sweets. Our server/barista Dominique was really nice, made amazing suggestions, & served us some tasty coffees. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, & the unique flavored donuts & sundaes we had. 5/5 recommend. Not a paid ad lol.
I love this store! The manager, Ashley is very kind and generous in supporting our mental health events by donating a dozen donuts when we have a support group or workshop. The donuts are so fresh Staff are friendly and service is quick. Definitely my favorite place to get donuts!
As with most Duck Donuts locations, I have visited they take you order they drop mix in the fryer and make you fresh donuts. The service you receive is great. Most all locations have some tables for eating in, and even drinks can be purchased like milk, juice, and other items.
As a fan of donuts and local establishments in general I do my best to try new spots whenever I can. The name is adorable and while the trend of made to order specialty donuts seems to be a thing these days I'm glad that it is because every one I have tried has been amazing. Duck Donuts in particular stands out as the selection is large and the price point is stellar. I had a donut sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese, and maple drizzle, and while it tasted like an absolute dream, I was shocked to see on the board it was under 500 calories. Also under $5. I was impressed. I also had a lemon blueberry that I saved for later because the sandwich was actually quite filling. Highly recommend the salted caramel cheesecake as well. If you like donuts I would definitely recommend. The staff were super friendly and efficient as well. All around great experience and I will definitely be back!
Service is friendly and is very helpful to explain how this shop is different from a Tim Hortons or a Starbucks. Donuts are made TO ORDER and it does take a minute! It's not a grab and go and it's definitely an experience. You can watch the employees make the donuts and overall just super cool! Try the boardwalk or a chocolate iced with raspberry.
This is a fun donut shop that makes your donuts hot and fresh to order! They have lots of tasty looking options, which are featured in a handy picture menu near the register. They have a variety of standard options, and then they also have seasonal and special options - right now, it's dedicated to St. Patrick's Day themed options. We ordered one sprinkled in cinnamon sugar and one Flip Flop, which is topped with chocolate icing and vanilla drizzle. The donuts were made fresh and then decorated by the friendly staff member who took our order. When they came out, she was kind enough to show them to my kiddo to check out. The "hot and fresh" is no joke - we had to blow on them before diving in! It was great! We will definitely stop by again!
Happy to know of this location on Sawmill Rd near Kroger. I am usually here for shopping frequently, so was able to pick some up. I ordered online for pick up and arrived a few minutes early, but they already had it ready to go. I customized each donut myself. They indeed are fresh and warm, I could tell even through the packaging. The donut itself is wonderful. It is a fluffily cake consistency and I loved it. Next time, I would like to order some of their signature flavors, because it was a little overwhelming customizing my own flavors with choice of coating, toppings (up to 2), and drizzle. The total of a customized dozen came to $25.48 (including tax). Felt the donuts are a bit pricey, although delicious. It would be nice to see some other variations like creme filled, etc.
We had no idea that this was here in Dublin. We had only been to the one in the Outer Banks, NC. What an awesome surprise. They make awesome cake donuts, warm and made to order. Take time to go in and look at everything! From the amazing drinks to the donuts and ice cream with donuts. Fabulous, and the gentleman working the counter was very pleasant and patient with us because it had been 10 years or so that we had visited one. Definitely a favorite. Pricey... but VERY WELL WORTH IT.
Be forewarned. When it's said the donuts are made to order, it means they really are made to order. From scratch. They'll start to mix up the batter for how many they estimate they'll need (I was second in line and they asked if I knew how many I wanted so they could get started early) and as the finished cake donuts come out of the fryer they then wait for someone to pick them up and place them in a box. So if there isn't a line it's still going to be 15-20 minutes on your order. But it is so worth the wait. After the donuts are in the box, they are then given the toppings on your order. If you have someone with allergies to an ingredient (like peanuts) there may be cross contamination. These donuts may be a revelation for some. I got the maple bacon, s'mores, and cinnamon sugar. A coworker never even knew or considered that a maple bacon donut should exist. I feel like his life was changed with this revelation.
I was so excited to find that this donut chain was in metro Columbus. My sister in PA raved about the donuts that you could customize. We had a similar donut shop in Canton MI for a while that I loved. The service was great. Explained the choices you needed to make and even told me they had free water if I wanted since I had a diet Coke in the car waiting so I didn't order a pop. My order came up quickly, but I was the only one in the store. I did have time to see the shirt display that also have yellow ducks. Since I collect both I had to get one of each. The counter person even helped me find the size I needed. Too hot to eat there since they were freshly made, I enjoyed 1 after supper. Maple glazed and fresh, it was delicious. My only complaint is it could have been fried a little longer. Not the firm type if donut I normally see. Besides that great. I had the chocolate glazed 1 the next day and the chocolate glaze was thinner than the maple so it was spotty in places. Both of those facts caused the 4 stars instead of 5. With prices cheaper than Amy's and being made to your choices, I will be back. Still looking for a place that makes them like Washtenaw Dairy, but maybe that not possible here in the land of buckeyes.
I've been wanting to check out the Duck Donut scene for a while it's been on my radar since it first opened! I came in and basked in the smell of freshly made doughnuts. When you order the donut you can select the toppings or go with what's on the menu from the signature items of maple and bacon donuts to raspberry lemon donuts everything is freshly made. I ordered here two times once for Valentine's Day for my husband and the other for my office. Both enjoyed the donuts thoroughly, or should I say ate the entire box! When I got my husband the 7 donuts I only paid about a $1 each for them so it was quite affordable for a gourmet kind of donut. When I got the dozen for my office it was around $14 for the entire box, let me say that included all their signature item donuts so it was worth the money. If your looking for freshly made gourmet kind of donuts look no further than Duck Donuts. You will leave feeling great with those carb loading treats!
Yet another entry in the "custom donut" trend. Nice place, wide open and clean inside. Some seating on one side. The donut "factory" is off to the other side, and you can watch them cook, and watch the staff top them. Service was great all the way through- friendly, helpful. I got two donuts and a coffee. The coffee, I think chocolate hazelnut, was good, but not very strong. The flavorings weren't very strong either, but when I got to the bottom of the cup there was a ton of syrup, so maybe it just wasn't mixed well. Still good. The donuts are baked fresh, then topped with your choice of frosting, toppings, etc. I went with a cinnamon sugar drizzled with blackberry, and a strawberry frosted with graham cracker sprinkles. Ate one in the car, which wasn't a great idea- they are hot, and messy, so best to eat them there or let them cool for later. But the cinnamon sugar with blackberry- man, was it good. Warm, soft, moist donut- airy but cakey, kind of like a super moist pudding cake. The topping and drizzle were excellent. I almost ate the strawberry graham too; I took a bite, and it was good, but not as good as the cinnamon sugar blackberry. Had it later, and it was fine, but they are best hot. Prices are high for donuts, but on par with this type of place. I like it better than the other "custom" ones I've been to, so I will eventually be back.
Such a fun place! The donuts are made fresh and you can watch the whole process. They were warm and delicious. I loved all of them, but the Apple Pie was the best. There's so many options, especially since you can customize a donut. I recommend giving them a try! There's something for everyone.

Location; Dublin right off sawmill road, the place was clean and ordered swiftly. Food; Ordered the Duck Dozen and this was the first time I have seen a place prepare each donut to order, which was really cool. I saw my donuts come off the belt right into my box and made perfectly as ordered. I ordered two coffees, the one not for me I did not know if they wanted cream and they prepared a little creamer to go which was great. Service; All very friendly and great. read more

These are some great donuts! I've had them at work a few times, but by the time they make it to the office, they are not as warm and fresh as they are right in the store. I was able to get in and place my order pretty quickly and didn't have to wait long at all for them to be prepared. You even get to watch your donuts being created right in front of you which is pretty neat. I will definitely be back to this place! read more
I went for national donut day to get the free cinnamon sugar donut, and it was so light and fluffy! I also got a chocolate donut with sprinkles ($2.25), and they were very generous with the sprinkles. Only setback would be the price. I will definitely be back though because if you sign up through the app, you get a free donut after your first purchase! read more

They're... donuts? Perfectly good donuts, and it's cool to see them do the toppings on the spot. But it seems to be more of a thing to do when you need custom donuts (like, wanting a color scheme for a party) than to just randomly grab donuts, because they sure are messy when they're still wet. Also, I'm sorry, but a donut breakfast sandwich with sausage, cheese, egg, bacon bits AND maple icing is just too much of everything. Chill out, donut peeps. read more
Man am I a sucker for a good donut... and Duck Donuts truly delivered. Before reviewing, I have to note: you need to go in to this place and eat the donuts there. You can technically take them to go, but don't. Or, at least don't for your first time eating one. To start, I love how each donut is customizable. There are lots of different options and you can mix and match whatever you want. I went for a peanut butter chocolate donut and it was out of this world. My husband had the Oreo and I snuck a bite. Also incredible. These donuts are warm and cakey, which is my absolute favorite kind of donut. It's fun because you get to watch the donuts being made. You see them coming out of the fryer warm and then being topped with the assortment of goodies. This place is fun and bright and clean. I'll definitely be back again. read more

I was craving a donut and coffee for my 2-1/2 hour drive home to CLE. One shop in the area closed at 3. Then I Yelped again and found Duck closing at 8! Yay! I'd had Duck Donuts at OBX years ago so I was ready to taste again. I started with a coffee. There is a selection, and I chose the regular drip over the Americano, which is made fresh. The drip was terrible. The time was 6 o'clock so maybe the coffee had been sitting. The clerk had filled the carafe while I was there, but the urn she filled from was not good, bitter. Lesson to self: don't get coffee during a slow time. Stop at a gas station when traveling. The donut I ordered was Citrus Pop. Biting into it I could feel the crispy outside and the airy fluffy donut inside. The flavor was sweet. Oh, so divine! This shop is north of 270 off Sawmill. Cute, too. read more

I was so excited to try the all famous "Maple Bacon Donut" and ordered for delivery. Unfortunately my donut did not come with any bacon on it?? and the donuts were obviously topped/glazed inside of the box, which caused a mess. I also ordered a cinnamon flavored iced coffee and it was black and bitter. Disappointed and won't order again :/ read more

Some of the best donuts I've had! Comparable with Der Dutchman from a can tell it's homemade standpoint. What impressed me the most was the customer service- everyone was polite and the place was very clean as well. read more
Duck donuts is a top-notch donut store. Every donut is made from scratch and to order the employees are following every CDC guideline as well as sterilizing every service all the time. These donuts are hot and fresh made right in front of you to order never to sell a cold doughnut. Coffee is not bad either. The All-Stars of this particular store are the employees that are making the donuts working their butts off to put out the best quality donuts on the market you can see a couple of them in my pictures working really hard to make my donuts and super friendly to boot read more

Hi Robert, I’m so glad you enjoyed your donuts! Sorry we missed the…
Go. Here. Now. Make your own donuts with delicious toppings, sauces and drizzles! Each donut is about $1.50 each and you can add what you want. There's a lot of opportunity for unique creation. I lead toward chocolate so most of my donuts have some sort of chocolate spin. Be prepared to fill out a sheet before you walk to the counter to make the order process smoother. Depending on how many people are here you may need to wait a while. Especially when there's a line of kids. When it's all said and done, the donuts are warm and fresh so it's worth the wait. They have a s'mores hot chocolate now and it's delicious. Just throwing that out there. read more
This place brings back wonderful vacations in NC. Love the donuts and could eat a dozen plain! Other places have beautiful designs, but the donuts are meh. Not Duck Donuts! I got the Flip Flop and Boardwalk donuts today. They were a great treat. read more
We walked in impromptu after having build your own sushi next door at Fusian. It's a fun place where you can build your own donuts! The base is vanilla cake donut. You can customize toppings as you like or choose from a list of favorites. The concept is amazing and eating a fresh, hot s'mores donut was amazing! I am not sure whether it would taste as amazing cold. read more

Attention all donut lovers, Duck Donuts is the most new, most delicious, and most creative donut shop around. Let me tell you about it. All of the donuts at Duck Donuts are made fresh. And I do not mean "these donuts were made in the last 24 hours." What I mean is that your donuts are made-to-order. How cool is that? Every donut is so fresh and so flavorful. Since the donuts are made as you order, this allows you to customize each of your little breakfast desserts. Let me explain. All donuts are cake based. Then you get to decide what toppings you would like. Choose your favorite coating, ranging from salted carmel to orange cream. Choose your favorite topping, ranging from Oreo crumbles to chopped peanuts. Choose your favorite drizzle, ranging from hot fudge to blackberry. All of the combinations to choose from can be a little overwhelming. But don't sweat it, Duck Donuts have several classic combinations that will help narrow your choices. We went a little out of the box and tried maple icing with bacon crumbles. It was so tasty; the perfection combination of sweet and salty. The peanut butter icing with raspberry drizzle is excellent as well. It was like having a PB&J for breakfast. Overall, great coffee and donuts and service. Would love to make this place a weekend tradition, but they are not in Indianapolis. read more
Finally made it to a Duck Donuts. According to my sister, DDs are better than Amy's. She insisted I not contest until trying. Meeting a breakfast group later in the morning up in Dublin, I had a bit of time to kill, so I rolled on over to test out a Duck donut. Note to reader: the ordering station is NOT NECESSARY if the store is not busy. If there's no/short line, you can go right up to the counter, tell the worker what u want, pay and wait for your number to be called. The order form is for when the line's long, if you want several different concoctions, or simply to help the customer decide what they want, if they get overwhelmed with options. Fresh. Seriously, hot out of the frying oil FRESH. My Maple Bacon donut was a little flimsy, almost seemingly not cooked all the way through, yet NOT THE CASE!! These donuts, made with a vanilla base cake donut are just moister and denser (think fluffy cake, as opposed to Krispy Kreme) than others, so, when warm, cake-crumbly is the name of the game. They load on the (real) bacon crumbles on top of the maple icing, and the sweet and salty combination was heaven. Just HEAVEN! Love how the donuts are served in fitted boxes. Made it a cinch to take my Cinnamon breakfast treat home. My biggest concern: When will DD expand, and we get one out east????? Pretty, pretty pleeeeeease...! read more

THIS! This is our favorite donut shop. They are cake donuts, but not as thick as the "normal" ones. They're made fresh and just melt away in your mouth. There's several glazes, drizzles and toppings to choose from and you get to watch them make your donuts. We always end up getting more than we need and take the leftovers home. Just heat them up in the microwave for a few seconds the next day and they taste just as great as the first day! read more
