We stayed during ski season and here are the things I was most happy with (in no particular order): * The said it was a continental breakfast so I wasn't expecting all they offered like fresh local bagels and pastries, fresh berries, cut up pineapple, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, a very high quality granola, oatmeal with all the fixings, a pancake machine, juices, coffees with syrups and milks, lots of high quality tea choices, scrabbled eggs allow and with some mix-ins sometimes cheese or veggie, hard boiled eggs, meat like bacon sausage patties or links, sometime or potato like hash brown patties or shedded hash browns, roasted veggies, and on the weekend days they offered salmon with capers and onions. Plus flavored yogurts in individual containers and whole fruit like apples, oranges, and bananas. * humidifiers in the room. The hotel is so dry. We live at elevation in Park City, UT but Ketchum is drier! We ran the humidifier on high constantly but it was so great they offered this in the room. * they have a parking garage. It is $30/day AND there are easy access free spots around the hotel, but I imagine during peak season the offered parking is best. And it's covered so your car will be snow-free! * the heated pool for year round enjoyment (and two hot tubs). The air was too cold for my liking (because you have to get out eventually). * pretty decent gym with peloton bikes. * oh and the restaurant happy hour seems to be a hit with hotel guests and locals. The one huge downside was because it's so dry and they don't have a humidifier installed for the hotel, we got static shocked every time we touched the elevator buttons or unlocking our room. And it hurt! And when you're in town, I recommend the city museum, the wolf museum, the library, and the cemetery. And if the pedestrian paths are snow-free then head down Sun Valley Road.

The small rooms were average hotel fare with dated carpeting and decor. And the cost was too much for the lack of quality including unprofessional help, no valet for parking or bags. They just seem like a cheap hotel chain that doesn't care. Did I mention that it was empty at the height of the summer season. Should have been a clue.

Not much for conversation. She would do drive byes and see how we were going. The restaurant itself is nice. Music is playing, but you can hear two different stations on. For the chicken pita, it cost $24. The burger was like $26 or so. For that much for the pita. I expected more. Can't even pick it up to eat it. Definitely knife and fork.

The pork chop was a favorite, and the baked potatoes are Idaho sized so be mindful but it's recommended. The mocha pie was a favorite even for those of us who don't care for dessert or care for coffee flavored items, so give that a shot it was very good. Overall it's a must hit spot when in town no matter your party size or age. Get your name in early and eat up!!

You get the whole white bread resort vibe with Larry, the oldest lounge pianist in the world, playing all the geriatric favorites (e.g., Moon River on repeat). I was tempted to request Row, Row, Row Your Boat but couldn't bring myself to do it. As for the food, it was amazing, I have to admit. We got the scallops and wife got the apple and crab salad. Scallops were decadent and the salad was crab heavy as it should be. Wife pecan trout was solid, cooked perfectly. My black garlic chicken had a crispy crust, perched on pureed parsnip, tasted great. For dessert, we had the delicious chocolate cake and lavendar muielle-foille. Overall, waite staff was good though the Keeper of the Table kept snatching things, first the last piece of bread (though I grabbed the second round before she could make off with it), then a plate with food we were still working on. Water stayed full, and wines were top notch. No complaints there. If you're up to some pretension in the clientele but good lots of white plate food, you will enjoy this place.

The yellowtail was perfect but I did feel as if the past was a little "too on the "al dente" side. The being said, I did thoroughly enjoy the food. However; from the moment we walked in the door, we were treated as a nuisance and felt unimportant/unwanted. The hostess was atrocious and made it very clear we were being judged while rolling her eyes to common questions like "do we need a reservation or can we be placed on the list or seated." After she did common tasks during our conversation (and briefly stepping away), we were able to get her to seat us (after asking again). This started us off with hesitation which was only further exacerbated by the staff taking our order and not refilling our alcoholic drinks. We love to enjoy experiences and are not afraid to spend our hard earned money - sadly, this made our time here short lived. We were not informed if there was a dress code that established our treatment/experience here. If so, the messaging would be received poorly due to the fact that we were wearing similar -to- identical attireTo the wait staff. Again, I severely dislike doing reviews like this as someone that's a chef and owner in the industry.
