Clean place. Yes, it's outdated. I knew this when I booked it and everyone else should too because they literally show you photos of the exact rooms they have (and they all looks very similar and yes- outdated!). This is one reason why it is so reasonably priced. If you want fancy, this ain't it. The beds are firm but sleepable. I brought my own comforter and pillows because I'm picky as heck and knew theirs would disappoint me. Because they aren't mine. Plus, I used to be a hotel housekeeper and I know how often hotels/motels wash the comforters and fleece blankets..... hint: not often! You can always ask for a clean set from the front desk though and those will likely be clean. I just bing my own if I can though. They allow pets for a $15 fee at the time I'm writing this and charge you $40 if you sneak any in. Tisk Tisk, don't do that, just pay the $15. Cummon. Bathroom was super clean. Water pressure left something (everything) to be desired. Kitchen 8/10 for cleanliness. Be aware that past guests are the ones who do the dishes mmmk? Definitely wash them yourself before you use them if you have any self respect. TV was a newer one with whatever streaming service on it. I didn't use it. I didn't really use the Wi-Fi either so can't attest to that. Full size fridge and older oven in room 4. Table and 4 chairs. 2 queen beds. Attentive housekeeping. Kind front desk lady selling shein swimsuits, lest you forget yours/want a new & more fashionable one. I would stay here again for the price! Convenient location. I also highly recommend checking out bread & roses up the street for all natural baked morning goodness! (You're welcome). They were also the best coffee we found during our stay. 8j/11/26 Dublin hotel Yachats OR Itin 73516185792009 I booked the standard 1 queen room & it explicitly says 'kitchen', not kitchenette - the room has no stove, knives, plates, etc - just a microwave & mini fridge -no freezer I expected to cook & today bought meat, frozen veg & fresh salmon - a travesty to cook salmon in a microwave but I cant even do that since there's no cooking equipment - $30 wasted as I'm traveling for another 5 days The manager, Brian, first told me the description doesn't say 'kitchen' even after I showed him the itinerary listing that says 'kitchen' he still said that's not what his listing shows!- he said it was expedia's problem since you wouldn't let him list it as having a kitchenette so he 'had' to check 'kitchen' instead. He did this for all units with or with out kitchens, so there's no way to see which rooms actually have the m ( And no units with actual kitchen were still available.) I discovered that other hotels don't say kitchen , instead they say * In-room microwave * In-room refrigerator So it's really their problem & I paid 50% more than comparable motels because I thought to have the convenience of a kitchen He did offer to book me at another motel, but I declined as it still would 't have a kitchen & the current room other than having thin walls, is otherwise ok read more

We had just drove 4 1/2hours. We arrived around 7:30pm. When we got there after booking our room on bookings the owner told us the card didn't pull & there was nothing he could do about it. when he easily could have ran our card with us standing right there. We had our toddler with us 4 1/2hrs away from home scared with no where to go. Around 6:50 we saw our card DID in fact pull the money & return to our account 20-30mins later. What a sweet older beach motel. Our spacious room had every comfort. Coffee pot, fridge, microwave, and two comfy beds. This place is incredibly clean, in a great location and the front desk man was kind and helpful. The bathrooms were updated and probably the cleanest I have ever seen. The Dublin house is good. I think the room pictures are accurate. Beds are comfortable. My family and I did not stay long enough to enjoy the pool being open. The ice machine was unavailable because of Covid. There is no breakfast service. We stayed here because of the price. My family and I stayed in a two queen room for a few days over the weekend. The rooms are simple but ours had all we need. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly and responsive. We got a kick out of swimming in a swimming pool this close to the ocean. And the motel is in a great location. After searching for a place to stay in the Cannon Beach and Manzanita areas and finding no openings, we decided to expand our search and found Dublin House, albeit the ONLY motel with an available room in Yachats. No idea why everybody was booked except maybe the beautiful weather. Lesson learned. Dublin House sits right on 101 and is within walking distance of the beach. We rolled up and got checked in about 8:30. We had picked a room on the second (of two) floors and had been told there were no elevators. No biggy. The room got the job done in terms of having the requisite amenities, but I found it spartan at best. We had to plug the table-top fridge in to use it. They have wi-fi but if you want to stream anything (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, etc) forget about it - the download speed was no better than 6 mbps and just isn't fast enough unless you have a high tolerance for stuttering/stopping video (we don't). Things seemed clean although shortly after we got in the room I noticed a tiny bug on my right hand. It certainly could have hopped on from anywhere outside. I saw no other critters the rest of our stay. The best part of our room was the shower, and it was excellent. Overall, I can recommend Dublin House as a place to crash if you're driving through, but it's probably not the type of place you'd want to stay at for more than a night. Just my opinion. 4 stars for location, 2 stars for room, negative stars for service. Owned by a grumpy old man who needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. We checked in at 8:30pm and he has a policy stating you have to check in before 10pm. When we got there he kept complaining that we got here late, and kept saying "If you'd got here any later, you would've been sleeping outside tonight" and "Was traffic THAT bad, you got here so late." We got here before 10. Shut up about it. The room itself was decent, although it smelled like pee. It was big and roomy, with a microwave and fridge. The location is also quite nice because it's right along the coast, next to all the hot spots like Cape Perpetua. Honestly if the room didn't smell like pee the whole time I was there, I would give the room a 4 stars. All in all, nope. Not staying here again. It has the lowest Yelp ratings out of all the motels in the area. We should've known. We were just being optimistic. read more

Relatively cheap accommodations along US 101. They have a heated indoor pool, but it was late so we didn't bother to check it out. Our room was very large and clean which was good for the night. However it didn't feel much like a motel room ... it was more like a large open space with a bed in the middle. Also, all should take caution that the walls of these rooms are extremely thin meaning you can hear absolutely EVERYTHING which is going on in the rooms next to you. Before the Dublin House I thought those types of rooms only existed in movies. The Dublin House was good for a cheap quick night's sleep but I wouldn't recommend it for an extended vacation. read more

as bit of a hotel-snob, i was kind of sad the first time i pulled into the parking lot to check-in for our yachats weekend. my friend had booked our accommodations and i thought "really? what's the point of enjoying an oregon coast getaway if your view consists of highway 101 or the back of someone else's house?" oh well, it was so affordable, there was cute lighthouse, and the staff that greeted us was as friendly as ever and this helped me to get over my initial disappointment. as we entered our room all prior trepidation immediately subsided. the view was absolutely remarkable. you could hear the waves breaking on the rocks, you could see the water crash up, it felt like we were staying at an ocean front resort. to top it off each room comes w/ a mini fridge and freezer so you save your leftovers from the local restaurants. there was room for all of our things, and the things, a place to sit and play cards w/ a group of people in front of the large window, a nice sized flatscreen, closet space and a good sized bathroom. i now know not to judge a book by it's cover, no matter how cute it may be. this place is a hidden gem and i currently writing this review as leave yachats after my fifth stay w/ friends and family at the lovely dublin house. read more

Was just Alright not very friendly front desk person. No extras no cable or DVD player. Bed was hard as a rock. No box spring just a mattress on a wooden bed frame. When they say ocean view yes that's True but over roof tops blocks away. The clincher was when we left to go do stuff and left the do not disturb on the door and they came in anyway. Good location for a family friendly price. Easy check in to large room with double windows. We called earlier in the day to let them know we would be checking in later in the evening; thanked us for the call and it was no problem. Obviously a "mom & pop" operation. In this case, it means a lot of little touches to make the hotel more homey. Lots of natural light for the live plants in the room! Also had a four person dining table - great for meals in.. microwave, fridge and coffee pot in room. Floors are wood laminate; great for allergies and germ-phobes. Room was clean. The pool is pretty basic for a motel pool, but the kids loved that pool toys were available for use. read more

We just stayed here. This is a GREAT motel. It was so clean, the hardwood floors were a real plus. We had a king room, it had a table and chairs, as well as a long counter with TV, microwave and fridge. Great view of the ocean. The bathroom had been updated and was super clean. We had 2 small dogs with us and it was so quiet, they never made a sound. There is a field just across the parking lot for walking the dogs. I was so impressed with how clean the room was and how great the staff is. There is a Dollar General store just across the parking lot and they have milk and goodies. We really enjoyed our stay although it was way too short. We definitely plan to return. I highly recommend this as a place to stay, you are close to Newport, Haceta Head and it is not that far to Coos Bay and Sunset Gardens. Great place to stay if you like to smell cigarette smoke instead of ocean air. I paid up for an ocean view which should have been deemed a view of the houses below. When I complained to the desk person that I was unable to open my windows due to second hand cigarette smoke she advised me that the owner who lived above me smoked cigars and and guests on each side of my room were smokers. She made no offer to adjust my rate for the stay. The rooms were sparsely furnished and were shabby. If you are a smoker you will love it! read more

A friend and I recently took an overnight mini vacation to Yachats Oregon. We rented a room at the Dublin House. We were a bit wary as their rates are affordably low. When we got there we were delighted, ocean view, double queens beds for under $100. The rooms were very clean, roomy with a table and chairs to appreciate the view. They also have an indoor pool. It's a 10 minute walk into Yachats, one of the few still small, quaint and friendly town on the Oregon Coast. Unless you're set on spending up to $200 and more for a room Dublin House is the place to go. Due to Covid they have no ice machine so keep that in mind before you check in. read more

My family was looking for a cheap motel to crash at for one night at the last minute after a week of camping--a clean room, a warm bed, and a hot shower. The room was not fancy, but it was totally serviceable and clean, and we didn't have any problems with thin walls (and we had neighbors on both sides). Totally adequate bed, nice view of the coast. And the shower? LIKE A FRICKIN' FIRE HOSE OF GLORY. If you're looking for someplace special or memorable, keep looking. I agree with previous reviewer about the paper thin walls. My kids and I had to endure every detail of the neighbors having sex. This is not a vacation hotel, in other words not an experience. We were anxious to leave in the morning. I feel it should be half the price that I paid (just under $100 including the taxes). It was clean, but no wifi. Not even shampoo in the shower. A clean place that has undergone some remodeling and some room division since a generational change in ownership. We stayed there for two days during New Years 2015. They did not get the room changed over for the second day and my girlfriend had to get replacement towels for our second day's use. The ocean was visible from our window over a couple blocks of houses. The room division left us short on shelving in both the main room & restroom. It was necessary to plug in the fridge when we arrived in the room & things were kept cool our last day there. My partner & I would probably not stay here again when traveling to Yachats. read more

My better half and I have stayed here twice and will be back again. We stayed Thursday to Sunday and would stay longer if we could. The rooms are big enough to move around. We were in a king room ocean view. Now understand you can sea the ocean but you are blocks away. I liked to sit at the table and sip my coffee and look out at the ocean. I can think of no better way to start the day. Both of us commented about how quiet this place is. It may be older but it is better than the new places with constant noise from the hallways and hearing your neighbor flush or turn on the shower. It gets better....the pool. The pool is a nice size, warm water and is a locked area, not visible from outside. We decided to use the pool on our second visit....we had the pool to ourselves. I just sat on the stair with my feet in the water, it was wonderful! The front office...great..if you want something to drink or snacks, they have it for sale in the office!! We love Yachats, love the stuff from the bakery and the food in town. Yachats is more adult oriented than other coastal towns, but a get away it is!! read more

The room was clean, basic, and quite functional. Furniture was a bit aged/worn though. We had a pet, so we were in one of the pet friendly rooms. Recommendation: *Do not* stay in room 1. Staff lives next door in room 0 (yes, room zero). They are quite loud into the late hours of the night. Quite unacceptable. I mentioned it to them in the morning, and they said "sorry". You would seem to think that the live-in staff would know to be respectful of guests next door. Also, there is a house next door, and they had their windows open and the TV was quite loud quite late. Normally, open windows are not a problem on the usually chilly Oregon coast. It was one of those lucky warm days with open windows. I imagine that almost any other room at the Dublin would be better. We're just sorry we ended up in room 1. Oh, and that room does not have a view (not that we requested one, just FYI). read more

The Dublin House was immediately convenient for me, but after staying there for holiday visits several times over the years, I recommend it. Quiet and clean is all I need. This is no "fancy" hotel, noted by the small rough towels, creaky floor, and tacky wall hangings. These things do not matter to me. The friendly managers, safe environment, and again, clean, quiet rooms, as well as internet, fridge, microwave, etc. all for a low price (let alone in a beautiful town a stones throw from the ocean) make this stay great. I appreciate the small town feel and neighborly atmosphere. I will stay there every visit! read more
