    1. Wait time to pick up online orders is too long, even if the packages are right behind the counter, do you really need 10+ min to find it? Happened to me three times in a row. 2. Horrible manager and management, both in-store and online. My store credit (a physical card) was declined in store, and I was told to call customer service. Then I was on the phone for nearly 2 hours, being transferred countless times, and was told to "go back in store, get a new card, and have the balance transferred over". I went back, explained everything to the manager, but he quickly denied the solution and walked away with an obvious attitude of I-couldn't-care-less. I then realized their only job was to fool customers back and forth between store and online, so I decided to write an email to higher level management, hoping problem would be solved smoothly. If not, the recipient of my next email will be Consumer Affair.

I like the convenience of DR being open 24-7. It's perfect for those early or late night runs. The prices are moderate for the location. This store seems to be well stocked. Employees are not rude but don't expect them to go out of their way to speak and smile. Although, I must admit that the cashier that rang me up did speak. She just needed to add a smile and she would've been set. Her fellow coworkers were robotic like with their movements and rehearsed scripts that they used on the customers waiting on line.

Finally a mega drugstore plus more with a minimal food market newly opened in summer 2011 serving Flushing, Queens to operate 24/7. It sits directly on the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and Main Street on the #7 train station. Fully stocked that is never short on life's basic amenities for the daily deal. I was finally able to obtain breathe mints (NOT chewing gum) without the hunt down or run around from aisle to aisle like a typical retail space layout. The layout is nicely configured and easily understandable with the use of common sense. A self-service coffee, pastries, and fruits by the foyer's entrance to welcome customers is a warm invitation. The pharmacy within is also operate 24/7 as I am able without agita to obtain medical assistance for this gargantuan Duane Reade store #14438. Retail space is clean and there is no shortage of snacks, preserve or package foods. This space was the former home to Old Navy, thus out with the old and in with the new Duane Reade for Duane Reade's new home from the move across the street. Four stars as the drawback is the usual long bread lines at the register with only two cashiers to man the fort.

Although the pharmacy is not my favorite because they do not have convenient hours. It is a very large location , everything for the most part is set up nicely through out the store. Checking out can be pain sometimes as they don't seem to have enough people the lines tend to get long usually once they realize the lines they end up getting another cashier to open. During the quarantine they did a good job at keeping the crowds organized, lines outside & limited amount coming in. Can't say it was fun waiting online to enter but because of COVID for now this seems to be the new normal & worked out ok.

They seem to only have 1 person at the pharmacy helping customers, and 5 people back there. Ive literally waited over an hour before. Today I waited 30 mins with only 3 people ahead of me. I dread coming here. I gave them 2 stars because they are a good location, but there is a Walgreens across the street that is 24 hrs and has better sales.

To start off it's always hard to find someone to help you out and now most of their products are locked in the display cases so you need to first find an employee and then drag them to your case just to open it. They also eliminated their huge greeting card selection which was always nicely stacked and now it's just a small section with few basic cards. Not to mention CVS is always so much more expensive then other stores so if you don't have a coupon you're paying full price and then some! The only good thing is this location is open 24/7 so you can walk in anytime and get whatever you may need. Hopefully things improve at some point!

I asked to speak with the supervisor, but she was arrogant and refused to assist me properly. I had proof by email that my doctor had already sent the prescription. In addition, the nurse personally called the pharmacy to confirm that the prescription had been sent and that the pharmacy had received it in their system. Despite all of this, they still refused to give me my medication. What made the experience even worse was the way I was treated as a Spanish speaker. There were employees who spoke Spanish, but no one was willing to properly help or listen to me. I felt discriminated against and dismissed instead of being treated with professionalism and respect. This experience was unacceptable, unprofessional, and deeply frustrating.

The lines can get pretty long, especially if they only have one or two people in the front checking out. Not sure what happened to the self-checkout machines that they had before. It was definitely a lot more efficient before and now, it feels like they backtracked. The location is pretty clean and they usually have everything that I need in stock. Recently, they also started locking certain things up, which I imagine is due to more things being stolen. I haven't had any major problems with that but it can be a little annoying sometimes to press on the help button whenever you need to get something. There are a lot of personal things that are locked away so it's kind of awkward at times as well. My sister wanted to buy deodorant and even that was locked up. We had to press the button and wait for staff to awkwardly navigate through the various scents until we found which one we wanted.

I asked a female worker to help me and she came immediately. We passed the guy and he said "I said to wait a minute!" again rudely with a raised voice. " I told him he was rude and he protested. Come on! When people are shopping and spending what is now a ridiculous amount of money for items at your business you can't be so rude! Plus, it's their decision to lock things up and it feels like they blame the customers. I told them that I would buy it somewhere else. I can deal with a short wait but the rudeness is so unnecessary. Tired of dealing with that.
