I just was in Art Pharmacy on Kissena Blvd in Flushing...very close to where I live. I was a returning customer as I had been filling my scripts there whenever I needed antibiotics, etc. for at least 3 or 4 years. However today, the girl behind the counter was extremely nasty & rude to me, a returning customer. I had ordered by phone cotton gloves & went yesterday to pick them up...but pharmacist told me to come back today...he didn't open boxes yet. So I came back today & it was crowded & customers not practice any social distances rule. When a customer got right on top of me & tried to get ahead of me, I used my arm to shoo her away & stand back. Obviously. There's no manager in store to tell customers to stay a certain distance from each other. So the clerk behind the counter told me I should turn around & face the woman & tell her to "please stand back!" Well, I already did that when I was on the line! So this was like my second time telling the customer to stand back. The clerk became even more nasty with me and told me I was rude! So I told her off...that if she don't like her job & it's too much for her, to give it to someone else since there's a lot of people out of work now. I ended up returning the items I was to purchase...& she tells me they don't want my business & I should never come back there! They don't have to worry ...I didn't plan on it! All this time, I was patronizing them because they were small business but they abused me publicly. I also notice most of the customers are Russian & since I'm not ( well actually my Grandparents were from Covel) but I have NY accent, not Russian, I consider their actions discriminatory. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I'd give zero stars if available read more
