I noticed above my septic tank was wet. I needed to have it drained upon looking further. I noticed there was a problem. Skip came saw there was an issue traced it all the way back to my Leach field and was able to see a clog. I always say knowledge is key. Used DTH often to clean my septic tank with no issues. However when selling my house we recommended them being local for a septic inspection for out of area buyers. Disaster!!! They came in, tore up my yard and left a mess!!! They then recommended to the new buyers to have the entire field replaced $$$.......a crack found in one pipe and leach field had 3 lines not in use. I never had a problem....No issues, No wet spots, nothing! I then asked around and was given a name of a guy who does nothing but septic installations, drainage work residential and commercial for 35+ years. He read the report and then came and did a complete evaluation of the entire field. His report......all needed. A simple Septic Maintenance! Replace the one pipe! and speed level all the transition boxes! And all will be good! He chose to be honest! when he could have made a ton of money and said otherwise. My recommendation.....DON'T USE DTH! They were looking to screw me over and give the buyers leverage to counter offer minus a new system. They left my yard dug up and a mess. Watch the small town shit with business like DTH who only cleans and does inspections. Fail a septic and then recommend your local buddy to install new. One hand washes the other. End of the day...I went with buyer 2 who had no issues with my second findings. Buyer one was extremely upset in loosing their dream house. Thank DTH for that screw up! read more

DTH did a inspection on my septic and ruined the sale of my home. Scared the shit out of a young city couple by telling them my septic is on its last legs.But did give them a price to redo the leach field for 10.000. We are talking about a 1000 square ft. house with a 750gal. concrete tank and the whole 9 yds when the previous owner installed it before me. I been there 12 yrs and maintained it with NO problem. No shit smell around or septic leaching up to ground area ever. My septic service was over to check it and I told him to give me a price for a leach field so I could sell the place and his number was 6.000 which I would have gladly split with the young couple but DTH scared the shit out of this young city couple.
