Earthcare comes though again! My septic pump died last October and they were able to replace it within 24 hours, allowing us to stay in our house. Affordable and prompt! I used them to pump my tank in May and the those thing was touch less. The tech called from outside that he was here and when he was leaving he emailed me my receipt, they charged my CC when they were done. Painless and easy. I will never go back to another company. I called wind river environmental for septic pumping, got an appointment, explained in advance where the tank is, how they need to park on the street, not on the driveway. The driver arrived, gave me an attitude, wanted to get his truck on my driveway. Then he gave me bs about the hose length, the pumping from the street, "either my way or no way ", refused to pump and left. The following day my credit card was charged $312 "service fee" which was not previously disclosed. The manager never called to discuss the issue. read more

Actually, 0 stars. This company was referred by a local company that was unavailable for an emergency septic pumping to repair/replace a septic pump immediately. Did they answer the phones? Yes. Did they explain their "emergency fee"? Yes. Did they commit to an emergency service? Yes. Did they renig? YES. We were told to expect a call the following morning after 8 to confirm a time window for the service to be done. Did they call? NO. Did they TEXT? No. We had to call them. We explained the challenges with our dirt road in the mountains and wanted to be contacted when the service person was on the way. We were told the window would be between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. We were not contacted. We called again to see where the service person was. Oh, they had to go home because they were exceeding their DOT allotted time on the road. How about rescheduling? Since we had the repair scheduled for Thursday morning first thing, we accepted the reschedule, let them know we had the repair scheduled, reiterated that this was urgent and a snow event was expected starting the following morning (today, Wednesday) and that our road was tricky so it would be better to try this earlier rather than later. Ok. Expect a call or a text after 8 to confirm the time window. Again, no call or text. At 10 I called and was told it would be between 10 and 1:45. I reiterated the sooner the better because of the snow. I called again after 1:45 and was told the serviceman was on his way. Around 3 we called again. Oh, the serviceman hit bad weather and had to go home, let's reschedule, shall we? Well no, that doesnot work for us, we have an early appointment for the pump replacement tomorrow morning. We told you the snow was coming. Why did you not schedule for early in the day? No explanation. Just asking over and over if we want to reschedule. Thought we were being unreasonable because the service person's wellness was at risk. Cancelled the service. We are going to be inconvenienced - again - so why go with a company that does not listen and does not show up? As a Realtor, I will NEVER refer a client or anyone else to ANY of these companies that are affiliated with Earthcare or Wind River Environmental. They are CRAP as far as I am concerned. read more

Terrible. Charged $500 for digging a 1 ft hole (on top of the $680 for the septic pumping) because two guys couldn't find the tank despite having a diagram from their previous service. Diagram was a triangle with two sides coming off the corners of the house. Took me two minutes and a tape measure to explain it to them. Unfortunately I was working in the house and they had me flushing a tracker for a while before I went outside and figured it out. Customer service did not care, apologize, or offer a discount. They only asked "well why didn't you tell the guys sooner if it was so easy?" And she knew I wanted to have them put in a second tank!! read more

Everything was great until they showed up. Calling in, they requested i have blueprints of my home for a septic pumping service. I asked if they had any other services in the even they could not locate my septic tank. Rep on the phone guaranteed they would find my tank. They showed up, didn't even greet me in my own home, just walked to my backyard. I had to flag them down to show them my blueprints. 20 min later they can't find it even with the blueprints, advised that i would have to call back and ask for them to schedule a locator service and that a minor truck fee would be charged. I was charged 400$ called 3-5 times to try to request this service and no one on the phone could direct me to the person i needed to schedule the service they requested i get. I requested multiple call backs to pay them more just for them to finish the job but no one on the phone actually works for the company it's a 3rd party service. To this day i have not received a call back and i am out 400$. Terrible service, terrible expectations set, terrible business. I work in customer service for 15 years, and seldom leave reviews. As a fair warning, do not call these people unless you have located your own septic tank and essential can do the service for them. Look elsewhere for the real experts in the industry. read more

bill over $800 per visit (not draining) to supposedly fix a something that they had to order a part for. Kept sending people who billed me each time. over $4000 paid out, before i stopped paying till the part was fixed. Then they said we no longer want you as a customer, and canceled a 1200 year long contract for maintanence. Crazy crazy crazy. SOmething is going on with their payment/billing area, third party people maybe, submitting fake bills? or internal drama, but not getting fixed over months is unacceptable. STay away! read more

AWFUL SERVICE!! DO NOT RECOMMENED! I would give zero stars if I could. I inherited a property and needed the septic tank located. I called to schedule that service with them. Customer service told me someone would call me back in 1-2 business days. I called on a Wed - by the following Monday no one had called so I called again. This woman said she could schedule the service for me right then. We made the appointment for Thursday of that week. We scheduled it for the morning. As this isn't my permanent residence, I asked if she could give me a window of time so I knew when to be there. She said normally they come between 8 and 12 but couldn't give me an exact time and that the tech would text me when he was on his way. I called again on Wednesday (the night before the appointment) to confirm since I hadn't received any email or text confirmation from them. The woman I spoke with said she saw my appointment in the system for the camera location service and that it looks like someone would be there around 10 but that was subject to change if the tech got held up. Ok. So Thursday morning (today) I made sure to be at the property by 930am. When I still hadn't heard anything by 1050 I called to get an update. The woman I spoke with said she saw in my account Inwas scheduled for service between 10 and 12 and that it looks like I was the next one in line and I should hear from the tech soon. I don't know if she actually saw that or completely made that up to appease me, because no one came. I called again at 1 to get another update. After being on hold for over 30 minutes, the woman I spoke with said the branch manager she needed to speak with was in a meeting and that she would call me back once he was available to get a time. Around 145 I get a phone call from a different woman who tells me they need to cancel my apt for today because the tech cannot make it out. At this point I said absolutely not. I had been waiting since 9am, I called multiple times and every time was told someone was coming, I could not reschedule and someone needed to come out today. She put me on hold and 10 minutes later she hung up on me. During that time however I received an email from Earth care stating that they saw their technician had come out and was unable to locate the septic tank with the camera and so they suggested a different service that would require digging. I responded immediately and asked what the heck they were talking about. No one had come to service my property and that I had an apt scheduled for today that someone just called me to cancel and what the heck was going on. I then called the number that had just called and hung up on me back to find out what was going on. LONG story short - whoever initially scheduled my apt scheduled it with the wrong department. Those people don't do tank locations. However no one realized that until the tech was going to come out and saw what the service was and decided to just cancel the apt. Even though everytime I called and spoke with someone I repeated and had them repeat that the service I needed was a tank location. This was the most ridiculous waste of time ever! How can a company that opperates like this even stay in business - one hand has no idea what the other hand is doing! Unreal. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! I ended up calling another septic tank company who was able to come out last minute that same day, found and marked my tank in 5 minutes, and charged me 200 bucks less then these people. Another, I wish I could give them a 0-star rating. I was referred to Wind River Environmental from my regular septic company, whose truck is out for service. When I set the appointment I was not asked about whether or not my driveway was on a hill or not. I was also not informed I would be charged a $300.00 service call fee if the driver decided my driveway was too difficult to get up, which is exactly what just happened. I have never had a truck have a hard time getting up my driveway, and I have lived in my house for over 20 years. I thought it was odd that they asked for my credit card information before the scheduled visit, but now I understand why. I read how another reviewer wrote that she was told the supervisor was in a meeting and unavailable when she asked to speak with them. I was just told the same thing. This company is the worst and has lost all future business from me. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere! Buyer beware. read more

They came and pumped my septic tank. The guy almost broke the lid because he was trying to pry it open with a shovel and didn't realize it was bolted down. He was friendly ,but I wanted to make sure I watched him every step of the way. I didn't see him put the additive in, so I'm not certain if he really did it or not. Just watch them every step of the way. The price was a little expensive and now I'm looking at my bank statement and I see that they charged an extra dollar. so I have 2 separate charges on my account now. Called this company for a pump out. When they showed up my wife was the only one home. I was the one who uncovered the tank access the day before and checked that the tank level was fine. The septic guys told my wife that the tank water was above level and that's when the scamming started. They made up a bunch of lies trying all the time to scare her into doing expensive and unnecessary repairs. I must agree with other Yelpers about this company. A few years ago, I called them for a simple pumping because my regular septic company was undergoing some changes and was unable to operate. The representative from EarthCare showed up late and was giving me an attitude about his company's corporate structure and pricing. The job he did was nothing outstanding and in fact, took him a bit longer than our other company despite the fact that I cleared the area and exposed the tank cover. Also, when he completed the job, he didn't offer me any septic packets for the monthly bacteria maintenance and his fee seemed a bit on the expensive side. Recently, I received a phone call from a representative of All County Septic (formerly EarthCare) stating that we haven't done business with them in 5 years and since then, have we had our tank pumped? Duh !! I informed him that I returned to my former company and was not at all pleased with his company's performance in the first place. My recommendation: There are many, fine plumbing/septic establishments out there competing for the consumer dollar. This is NOT one I would recommend simply due to their lack of customer service and attention to detail. read more

I agree with many. The customer service people are great. The people who come to do the work are wonderful. However whether it's management, or scheduling, or owners, the people who seem to make the decisions are not helpful at a time when you need help and I feel are delaying work to either get more money or because they're overwhelmed or disorganized. I have mixed opinions of Earthcare. Their customer service people are professional and helpful when they answer the phone. The people that come to do the work are very courteous and call before arriving. I called them on Monday because my septic alarm was going off. I was told there would need to be two work orders, one to pump out the water and another to repair the problem, so two different invoices. I had them here in May of last year and they cleaned the tank and I was told that my pump had to be checked out. I was billed $409.82, and the next day some one came and said the float switch had a bad wire that was shorted and the disconnect switch was burned. This was repaired and it cost another $231.39 the next day. I really didn't want to call Earthcare again and was going to check around but since the storm was coming on Wednesday I decided to call them back and have them come on Tuesday. I appreciated that they made it on time before the storm, but here is my issue. I was charged $452.00 to pump out the water. Then another I,492.00 since they informed me my pump burned out. So AGAIN, I had to pay $1,492.00 for a pump. This is the "THIRD" GOULDS PUMP I have been told is bad. I had one replaced in 2009 for $1391.00 Two years later I had the same problem and was charged over $2,000.00 for another pump (only has a one year manufacturer warranty) and pumping of tank. Now the total cost this time was almost $2,000.00. This is almost $6,000.00 on pumps in 9 years and I was informed that most pumps are supposed to last 12 years. So since writing this I have gotten angry all over again and will not be using EARTHCARE again. They have been the only company servicing my septic, so I am unsure why there are so many issues. Earth Care convinced me to have my septic tanks pumped which cost approximately $650.00. I later found out this was completely unnecessary. At the time, they also told me I needed a new pump. So under their recommendation, I scheduled a subsequent appointment with Earth Care. This employee said the pump was actually fine and charged me another $187.00 for a service charge. In the next 3 months, my basement flooded several more times. This resulted in the loss of my brand new hard wood floor and carpet in basement, totaling about $1200.00. I then consulted a different company. This company advised me that the pump was in fact broken and fixed it for $50.00 out of pity.
