BEWARE OF THIEVES!!!!!! I moved to the area in January 2023 and tried out several nail salons. This was one of the more aesthetically pleasing ones so I started out with a manicure. The manicures are just basic. It doesn't matter who does it either the nails are crooked the nail polish is put on too thick or the tech is coughing in your face while doing your nails. But what happened most recently was the most alarming. After the hurricane I decided to treat myself to a pedicure they waited till after I was done to tell me their machine was down. I had an appointment right after so i went to bank of America and I pulled out More than enough cash that would cover the service and about a 25% tip. When I got back, I gave the short older woman the cash and didn't think anything of it. I did tell her I was moving, so maybe she thought that was the opportunity to steal, but I end up showing back up for one last pedicure and when she saw me, it looked like she saw a ghost. After my service was finished. The owner came up to me, adding the cost of my last service with my present service and I told her I paid and I pointed to the lady I gave the money too. Once she realized what happened she apologized. She stole the money and said I never paid how disgusting! That was my last time in that establishment, but I would not recommend a dishonest Place. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. The Nail Techs Are EXTREMELY RUDE!! They do a Half Job, they don't paint the whole nail. They tell you what they want to do to your nails instead of what you want. They use the same nail tools from one client to the other without cleaning them!!!! GROSS read more

Staff was friendly, space was cleaner than most in AVL, fair price and lots of colors to choose from. I got a regular manicure which unfortunately, was not well done. No cuticle oil or lotion was applied to my hands. The application left bumps in the polish and the gel removal product they applied burnt two of my fingers! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would... this was the worst experience I have ever had getting my nails done in my life... so bad that I'm taking the time to write a review, which is something I rarely do. When my friend and I arrived, off the bat, we were put off by how unfriendly the staff was. Then when we told them we wanted a mani & pedi, they told us both to sit in seats and not in the massage pedi chairs, which we thought was odd, but did it anyways... both the techs working on my friend and I could not have been more unfriendly. They were SO rude! So this was making the experience extremely unpleasant as it was happening, which it took FOREVER - an hour and a half just to do the mani (dip). Then when they were almost done, they said "oh, we can't do your pedicures bc we have another appointment." My friend only came for the pedi and then decided to get a mani when I did. So needless to say, she was VERY upset, as was I. Although extremely frustrated, we offered to wait until the appointment was done or at least until they could fit us in, and to that their answer was still NO. It was unbelievable. Worst of all, my nails look like a five year old did them blindfolded... VERY SLOPPY! Basically, this experience was AWFUL and I'll never EVER go back there again... Do not go here. I was going to get a fill-in and they began by cutting off my nails and said it would be 45 for a new set. Although a fill-in says 25 on the sign. I've had these nails for quite some time and no one has cut them off but just filled them in where my new nail was growing. After that, I told them I wanted them taken off all the way and get out of here. He made it a painful experience after that. My nails are now bruised underneath and my nails look horrid. Very disappointed in the way my nails turned out. It was all around an awful experience the lady that did my nails filed them down so much my nails are so sore and they hurt. She left them really bulky and didn't even file the sides down enough they look so wide I don't recommend this place at all. Got a decent gel manicure and an extremely quick and thorough eyebrow wax here; it was so cheap i thought they'd made a mistake. Big selection of gel colors. I wished I could have given it more stars! The lady that did my pedicure was amazing; her attention to detail stood out. She had to switch off to another lady for my manicure who only did the cuticles and buffed the nails. She didn't paint out to the sides of the nail and left one of my thumbs with some of the polish missing on the sides; she was done in 12 minutes. (Shouldn't it take a bit longer?) Reasonable pricing; I LOVED the first lady but the second lady was not as interested in giving me a decent manicure :( read more

Terrible service and disrespectful! I came in and asked for a manicure and showed the lady my nails and said I really need the cuticles and hangnails addressed. I asked if they have cat eye polish and they did. Only a few options, but they did. She sat me down and cut and filed then asked me to go rinse my hands. I thought hmm ok usually I soak my nails while sitting there before getting my cuticles etc taken care of. After washing, I sat down and she was literally about to start applying nail polish. 1. I already asked for cuticle care, 2. She did a very rough job cutting my nails- some were oval and some were square smh! So after I reminded her of what I wanted and pointed out the random nail shapes she did, I was finally ready for polish. Long story short, SHE'S NEVER APPLIED CAT EYE IN HER LIFE. When I asked 1 simple question, she gets up and obviously starts making negative comments (I know body language, attitude, etc. even if it's not in English). It was sooo obvious. Even my friend mentioned how upset she was. She asked a guy to come over and do it while she watched. Anyone who knows cat eye polish knows that you move a magnet around to manipulate the design. He didn't know what he was doing either!! They looked ridiculous and when I wasn't happy with them, the lady at the front desk came over with an ATTITUDE and said "this is cat eye! He knows what he's doing! This is how it's supposed to look!" Mind you, this is not my first time getting this polish. As I explained why it's coming out badly, they literally all start talking to each other with the same body language as the other lady before. My friend and I looked at each other and I felt sooo irritated at the fact that they are making me seem like I am difficult and they know what they're doing when that obviously was not the case. This went on for the remainder of my appointment. The lady rang me up at the end and said absolutely nothing. Did I leave a tip? Yes!! Do I think they deserved it? Heck no! He didn't even put the oil or cream on my hands afterwards. He just stood up and walked away. They were sooo rude to me. After my friend finished (her nails were done so well and the lady knew what she was doing) they were so nice to her as we left. Never going back there. read more

I went in with a recommendation from someone whose nails I liked. Asked for a specific nail tech, who sat down with me long enough to run the e-file on my nails and then, without any explanation, sent me down to another woman who I'm pretty sure hasn't been doing nails for long. My natural nails are very short and she didn't do anything to protect the skin closer to the end from the acrylic, so I ended up with the underside of the nail stuck to the skin and having to pull it loose (which was zero fun). Same issue with messy edges and gaps on either side of the cuticles, which started lifting within a couple of days. The ombre I asked for only looks alright from a distance; up close the gradient was really inconsistent in places and she straight-up butchered it near the tip of one thumb. Same tech put a lot of pressure on me to go longer when I really didn't want to, saying my hands would look short and fat (really?) if I went any shorter with them when my concern was being able to type for work. Area behind the counter was messy as hell, too. Nail polish dripped all over the bottles, employee's food and other personal effects strewn all over the place. Employees seemed more concerned with non-English conversations than building rapport with clients. I definitely won't be back or recommend this place to anyone. read more

Not a great experience. I went in for a shellac manicure for myself and a polish for a 10 and 8 year old. The man doing our nails rushed through the whole thing making for a pretty lame experience for the kids especially. He didn't soak or file their nails, slopped on the polish and didn't provide even a quick massage or any lotion. That's all part of the experience in my opinion and the girls were pretty disappointed that they didn't get any of that. My shellac was also rushed through and at one point he attempted to use the piece of paper towel that was covered in my blood (from trimming my cuticles) to wipe my finished nails. I had to ask him to get a fresh paper towel! Overall a pretty poor salon experience. We won't be going back. read more

Nothing is more irritating than inconsistency. For a short while, this was my go-to nail salon. Gel manicures at a reasonable price, savvy staff, et al. But alas, like so many other nail salons, the quality has taken an abrupt nose dive. On my last visit, they rushed through my gel mani and it lasted all of three days. FAIL. I won't be back. I went to DT for the first time tonight, and I have no desire to go back. I was rushed when I arrived, "what color do you want?" WOW, I JUST walked in the door, hadn't even seen where the polishes or colors are displayed. I was basically forced to look at color samples while she was trying to remove the old polish (one handed). There are parts of my nails that are not polished, and ruff edges where the acrylic fill wasn't filed down correctly. When the gal was filing the older acrylic to start the fill in, she nicked my skin/finger and when she coated the cuticle with the liquid used before setting the acrylic up, it stung, and badly. Not worth the money. I'll just return to where I have been going, and make sure I make an appointment with Tim or John, they are awesome! read more
