From the moment I walked in, I was surprised by how clean, spotless, spacious, and relaxing the entire place felt. Such a vibe! The ladies were all so kind and welcoming. The massage rooms are big, comfortable, and cold with AC, which made it even more relaxing once I stepped inside. Music was super relaxing too. Even the bathroom was spotless and fully stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. Now for the massage itself -- hands down the BEST massage I've ever had. And I've been to some big-name places before, but this completely blew them out of the water. The pressure was perfect, and I walked out feeling refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the week. The prices are super affordable too. Definitely bring cash if you can so you don't get taxed. They even offer bottled water on your way out, which was such a nice touch. She came back to my back and was pushing down on it, like she was kneading on flour. Then she stopped decided to get on the table and use her elbow which wasn't going to normal places on my back. So I politely asked her if I could stop the massage and I'll pay for the time that I stayed. She said "just tell me" what I wanted. So I asked her what kind of massage I was getting? A Swedish one a Thai massage? She said Chinese. So reluctantly I continued. I regret staying, not because of the type of massage but because the entire massage was a mass confusion of pressures, pushing down on various points that didn't feel good, I felt like she was guessing. I don't even know.. I don't have words. The best way I can explain it, is asking a friend or someone who isn't a masseuse to give you a massage and you immediately want them to stop. But wait there's more.. so at the end of the massage, i went to pay and she asked how much , I told her please charge $80 to my card.. she looked at me and asked me to give more?!!!! This place is located in a strip mall area by Time's Waipahu across of Festival Market. I was greeted by my massage therapist, Lulu, who happened to be hanging out near the entrance when I arrived. I told her why I needed a massage and asked her to specifically work in my upper trap area. The room is not your "glamorous spa" type of room, yet it gave peaceful vibes with the large massage table and sheets. Lulu's pressure was firm and you could tell she was using her entire body to provide me the pressure I asked for. She demonstrated amazing soft tissue massage techniques throughout and even gently mobilized some of my joints. To be quite honest, it was hard for me to relax here, but I came here for a therapeutic massage that can target the tight areas of my body not for a "relaxing spa day." Lulu continuously asked me throughout the session if her pressure was too hard or if I was in pain and made adjustments as needed. The sight, smell, and sound of the spa immediately draws you in. After settling in, I had the most amazing Salt Facial at Honolulu Spa & Wellness with the owner. I do not get facials regularly because I tend to leave the salon with sensitive skin that's all blotchy and red from the chemicals that were used. But getting a Salt Facial is so much different! No chemicals were used and the results were amazing. The salt used is a natural antibacterial and antimicrobial agent so my skin was not irritated one bit in the process. I learned this is one of the few places offering this service, so definitely take advantage of them having this service. The procedure started by cleansing my face and neck first. Then the Salt Facial followed with her using a wand that used all natural sea salt resurfacing to prep my skin for the next stages. I thought it was going to hurt for some reason , but it didn't at all and just felt like a deep exfoliation. I then had an aesthetic ultrasound to nourish and increase circulation of my skin, which helped whatever she used to get deeper into my skin. The next step was where I could really feel the treatment doing its job, and that was the LED light therapy! I did that for a couple of minutes and could feel my skin getting its natural glow back. The last part of my experience here was a hydrating face mask that I didn't even know I needed. The whole process felt so fast but gave such great results. My skin feels brighter and tighter, especially around my under-eye and cheeks where I felt like my skin was sagging a bit. I could just feel my skin was softer and had reduced the bumpiness in some areas that were affected by acne in the past. As a follow up, I came in for the Scultural Face Lift with Buccal Massage. This included lymphatic drainage (behind your ears) and microcirculation of my shoulders, neck, and jaw area.
