Woke up with some neck pain that has been lingering here and there from sleeping weird and being on my computer for long hours but today it was at its worse. I did a quick search of massage therapists in the area and this one came up. I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received and this was actually one of the best massages I have ever had. This place is located in a strip mall area by Time's Waipahu across of Festival Market. I was greeted by my massage therapist, Lulu, who happened to be hanging out near the entrance when I arrived. I told her why I needed a massage and asked her to specifically work in my upper trap area. The room is not your "glamorous spa" type of room, yet it gave peaceful vibes with the large massage table and sheets. Lulu's pressure was firm and you could tell she was using her entire body to provide me the pressure I asked for. She demonstrated amazing soft tissue massage techniques throughout and even gently mobilized some of my joints. To be quite honest, it was hard for me to relax here, but I came here for a therapeutic massage that can target the tight areas of my body not for a "relaxing spa day." Lulu continuously asked me throughout the session if her pressure was too hard or if I was in pain and made adjustments as needed. My massage also included hot stones, which I was not expecting but I was not opposed to. The service and friendliness of this establishment cannot be beat, especially when factoring in the reasonable price for an hour. Booking is extremely easy via their website. I will be recommending this place to my peers! read more

This review has been long overdue, but I've been going here for over 3 years now since 2023 Mary is an amazing, wonderful, and professional skilled massage therapist and just knows how to workout all my deep knots throughout my body. Being that I work 16 hour shifts and pulling 80+ hours of work on my feet each week, I always can rely on Mary! I would recommend her and this wonderful team any day! The price is reasonable and worth it! Mahalo Mary and World Massage! read more

I Just had my first full body masssage and cupping with Lulu today and Immediately went on Yelp because this place deserves a review. Being in the military for 11 years I have alot of back pain and tension. My body feels so relaxed and so much pain is gone. If I could give this place 10 out of 5 stars, I would. The price was well worth it and they now have a new client every month. read more

World Massage - 2hr massage + cupping - Massage Therapy Near Me - Waipahu, Hawaii

Mary is so GREAT at what she does and she is Kind and very knowledgeable . My husband comes here a lot. He's been improving so much in his body, from stress, anxiety, muscle soreness, stiffness, and suffers from old injuries. This is where he comes to get fixed . And this Time around Mary suggested to do cupping, and let me tell you, he's glad he did it. If you always have stiffness, Cupping really helps. And from my husband's experience it was intense, but if you really want to feel great about yourself and in your body and mind. Wouldn't you do it ? Anyways, my husband is overall happy with his session and I can't thank you Mary enough for always putting in 100 percent in your craft . Mahalo see you soon. read more

Had an amazing massage today by Lucy and Tina! One of the better massages I have had! A good price and great service

Just what my back and neck needed or kneaded? I'm always driving to town to get my massage and I'm so glad I finally stopped in here. They accommodated my (kind of) last minute request on a Sunday afternoon. I ended up getting a 90 minute massage with Lee. My shoulders, neck and back are super knotted up and he was able to automatically zone in on exactly where my trouble spots are. It was a bit painful at times but in the end I felt so much better. A woman even came in afterwards and stretched out my back. I'll definitely be returning. They're super friendly and very accessible. Mahalo to Lee and the crew. You've gained a new customer. See you soon. read more

Formerly from Thai Aloha, Mary is the best masseuse ever! I'm so glad she had my number and reached out to let me know where she's currently working and operating from. Mary has always been so sweet, accommodating, and the best at what she does. Not only is she my masseuse, she's a great person to talk to and laugh with. World Massage is super cozy and clean! Parking is easy to find and they're so flexible with booking an appointment. I literally just got a massage an hour ago and when I was done, I sat there for a few minutes to soak in the feeling of being relieved and relaxed. Whenever my massage is done, I never want it to end. Lol. Today, Mary worked on my problematic areas and I feel so much better. With a pretty busy schedule, it's difficult for me to come in like I used to but I always make time. Come one, come all...you will not regret it! read more

I've been to see LuLu for massage twice so far, and it won't be my last. I often have tension in my shoulders and lower back, and somehow, she always finds the exact cause of my pain. She has really great hands and always checks to see if pressure is ok. I will be going back again soon! read more

As I said in my first review the treatment at world massage is by far some of the best they are attentive to the needs of their clients. I have been massaged by both min and Mary. They check in often to ensure they are applying pressure to your liking. I recommend the 90 minutes or more as it allows them to spend good amount of time working each part. If you are looking for a top tier massage this is by far some of the best I have had. read more

We scheduled last-minute appointments on a whim and are so glad we did. Seriously the best massage I've ever had. I had Mary and my husband had Min--both were excellent. Mary was fantastic at finding the places on my back and legs that were tense or needed a little extra attention. Tip: say YES to the hot stones. This isn't the closest massage location for us, but was worth the drive and we will definitely be back. read more

Got to try out Ally. She was so good. OMG I left there feeling so good. thank you so much Ally!!!

This is my first time here. I did a lot of moving yesterday and my body was in pain. I decided to find a spot in my area to get relief and found this place just down the road from where I live. I booked an appointment online 10 mins before my appointment time. Times were available after that too, but I chose to get there quick. The place is located at a decent location. As I walked in, it was a small area, I was greeted by 2 women, and asked if I wanted water, then a man came out and gave me a sheet to fill out. He showed me the way to the room and it is not like your typical nice room, it was mediocre and small with soft instrumental music, he said pls take your clothes off and lie on the massage table, I took everything off except my undies. He came into the room and asked what I want worked on, I told him my whole body hurts from moving, I said everything lol. He started to work on my neck, shoulders and upper back. He hit the spots I was hurting at and relieved my pain. Then he started going down to my lower back where I was in crucial PAIN, he felt that and released it also. He did everything else, but I was more focused on my upper and lower back. (Throughout the massage though, you can hear the sounds of the vehicles, buses and trucks passing by.) Then he used hot rocks, man did that feel good. He first started to warm his hands before he put the rocks on me. I was in heaven, no sound mattered to me but the release of the pain. After all of that, he stretched my arms out and at the end stretched out my back with my legs crossed. After the session, I met Mary and I told her how amazed I was with Lee. She said, do you want me to crack your back!? I immediately said YES PLEASE! She took me to the room and cracked my back by locking her arms with mines and using her knees, OMG, I told myself, this place knows what they're doing. They focus on what you want. I felt better walking out than I did walking in. So if you're looking for a place, head to World of Massage and try it out. read more

The atmosphere in this place is amazing, the masseuses were also very kind and the massage was wonderful. I had my massage done by Ally, who was fabulous in relieving my shoulder tensions. I will certainly be back. Great service overall! read more

Definitely found my go-to massage therapy place here at World Massage! I've been to a bunch of massage therapy places but finally found this gem along with an awesome massage therapist. I've been going there to see Mary, and OMG she knows how to take care of your massage needs. Super attentive and intuitive, she figured out how to work on all my trouble spots. I'm normally super tense & sore from working so much but she always works her magic & makes it all go away! From light to firm, she can do it all! And when you need her to go hard (I asked her to go as hard as she could) to work all the knots out, she can & will deliver. Super amazing massage every time! read more
