I'm very picky about where I get my massages, and even more picky when it's a Thai massage. SaiTara is my number one spot for Thai, me and my husband always request for Maya as she has very strong pressure and knows exactly how to work out any kinks, knots, or tenseness in your body. Although if you're looking for a relaxing massage this may not be for you, she's extremely skilled but not everyone can handle the pain, nonetheless you will feel amazing after getting a massage from Maya. Today I was quite stressed and knew my body needed a massage, unfortunately Maya doesn't typically work on Sundays, so today I had Lisa and she is wonderful, I think my new favorite. Not only can she do a proper Thai massage with techniques of using the sole of her foot to work out tightness in your shoulders (and very good stretching techniques), but she's also great at giving a normal and relaxing massage. She has rhythm and the massage felt intentional, I really enjoyed my massage from her. Thank you so much, Lisa. It started off good, maybe 15/20 min then my original masseuse leaves without saying anything. Another lady comes in and continues only to do absolutely nothing for me. Basically felt like just rubbing oil with no pressure at all. She left the room multiple times. She even said "I need water" and left. I left still feeling sore, I paid my bill and as I was walking away they yelled at me asking me for tip. Sorry but tip is not required. They are still great with getting me in at the last minute, but I just had to post about this last encounter. My favorite therapist is retired now, so I've been having different ones each time. But this last gal... ai... felt like she didn't know what she was doing!!! I went in to get my legs worked on, but not only did I not get any Thai massage, but she also bruised me using her elbows, hitting bone at times. She could not tell, nor read, by my multiple jumps, that what she was doing to me was bad, just kept going. Forced popping of my joints, put pressure on already injured areas (told her about it)... went in achy, left in more pain and with a headache. I gave it overnight, thought maybe I was just that tight. Headache woke me up, visible bruises on my back, wrist is now sore from her "technique" of hand work, and I can't stand on my injured ankle (back to taping). I can't even request to not have her again because she didn't tell me her name, and she didn't see me out. I wish I had just skipped this one. read more

Second time here, my therapist was Jada. Super nice, super sweet. Different type of massage this time, not as much stretching so not as vigorous?? Not sure if that's the right word but last time I saw Mazee, I think that's her name, well last time I got stretched so much and the stretching is what I think really made a difference in my lower back. BUT I'm still very satisfied with the massage that I received from Jada today. It was more of the kneading type which I really love too and she did an excellent job on my right shoulder, and neck, really got in there. I went for a massage today and I was not expecting a massage where a masseuse removed my underwear and as she was massaging me, she offered me an extra service to massage my private area. I have gone to many massage places but never i was asked for that kind of service... this was happened today at around 4pm at this location. The masseuse was in wearing black outfit today. Kinda in her late 40s or early 50s. I've been to this place in the past but I was never asked that service. I declined to have the service done as it was not very appropriate. Three starts for exceptional customer service and cleanliness. My expectations of getting a Thai massage is lots of loosening and cracking...did I get that during my massage today? Unfortunately, no. My upper back and shoulder area is the most problematic and when I addressed it, nothing was loosened really. I was relaxed but the entire massage was rubbing into my back and body and not really getting into my knots.
