Upon returning to the islands, we had so much delays that we weren't going to be able to make our 1:00pm appointment. Despite that, they were able to reschedule our booking for 2:00pm! We arrived on time and Eric and Anna were able to service us and perform our massages. They both did a wonderful job and the pain and fatigue from all the walking we did on our travels had just melted away. I had already rearranged my schedule for a 4:30pm appointment, so that was disappointing. They offered to move me to 6:30pm, but I wasn't able to adjust my schedule again. On the day of my rescheduled appointment, I presented my Groupon voucher to pay. This is where things became uncomfortable. The massage therapist appeared visibly upset and walked away, and the owner returned to inform me that not all therapists accept Groupon clients. I was told I should have mentioned the Groupon when booking. While I understand policies are important, this was not communicated clearly beforehand, and the way it was delivered felt abrupt and somewhat scolding. As for the massage itself, it was okay but not exceptional. There was a noticeable language barrier, and I was not asked what type of massage I preferred or what areas needed focus. At times, the pressure felt inconsistent -- almost as if there wasn't a clear plan of muscle work being done. Overall, I think clearer communication would greatly improve the client experience, especially regarding Groupon policies. The atmosphere at the end felt tense and uncomfortable, which left me with not-so-great vibes. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't somewhere I'd choose to return to.

Before going to my appointment, I filled out a detailed questionnaire regarding my visit. She shares the office with other therapists/doctors. It is a very clean space. Mei is very nice and although she told me she read my questionnaire, she wanted to hear some concerns I had. The appointment consisted of acupuncture, massage, cupping and gua sha. First thing I noticed when she did the needles was that my sinuses instantly cleared and my breathing felt light. With vog in the air, I lungs were feeling rather tight. My session was an hour long and I cannot express how happy I am to have found Mei. I have gone to another acupuncturist since to compare, but there is no comparison - I will be going back to Mei again.
