Comfortable environment and thoughtful service! Ning is very nice and professional. I can feel her dedication every time I do the treatment. My skin condition has improved a lot. I highly recommend it. read more

This was my first time here and so glad I went. My face was due for a much needed facial. I don't really have a routine besides making sure I apply SPF when I know I'll be outdoors for awhile. Theresa was awesome. She was very thorough with the facial process. I never knew how many steps it required. I just remember the cleansing, steam, extract, mask, massage and moisturize. I'm sure I'm missing some steps. Thank you Theresa for making my facial experience comfortable. She was also very personable. Will be coming back again. read more

Booked via ClassPass and it was a breeze! Parking was free and right out front. The massage included oils, stones and a tab bit of chiro movements. I came in with a lot of knots and tension in my lower back and shoulders. After my massage, my back felt better. Will be returning for another massage and possibly cupping. read more

Lanikai Beach Spa - Services and prices 12/2024 - Massage Therapy Near Me - Ewa Beach, Hawaii

One of the most relaxing and rejuvenating massages I've had in a long time and definitely the best one I've had on island! So nice to know you don't have to go into Waikiki to get the spa experience. Located in a flex space in Kapolei (just think how easy it will be to get here once the train is running - eye roll- ) we were greeted by a lovely potted planted garden at the front door. After ringing the bell, the owner opened the door and welcomed us in. My husband and I exchanged nervous glances upon noticing the two massage tables right out in the open, but were relieved when we were walked up stairs through a very clean and spa-like decorated space. Up on the third floor, we entered a room with plush carpet, soothing colors, and soft music. After disrobing, we settled under the luxurious sheets and awaited our massage technicians. While we never got their names, both women were kind and inquired a bit about ourselves, spots of stress, and pressure applied. The massages themselves were heavenly! Absolutely go for the 90 minutes! Starting with compression and including pressure points, rolling, hot stones, hot towels, and stretching, it was truly magical! The only thing we wondered is if the room is kept cool with intention as we both noted being a bit cold, especially after we were left to redress. As everything here seems to be done with a purpose, I'd assume the room temperature is kept cool for a reason. After our massage, we were offered a beverage and each chose a tea. We made polite chitchat with the owner again, who is an absolute sweetheart. There's no need to look any further for a spa - we will definitely be back, hopefully long before our next year's anniversary! read more

The staff is very professional and personable. I went in with tight shoulders. Nalani is very skilled and detected other areas that needed addressing even though I didn't note it on my form. Wow! My neck was so stiff, I couldn't even look down. All's good now! Thank you!!!! read more

Unprofessional text message my sister showed me from the person who works at this establishment. I felt like it was unprofessional of them to send the text especially after saying my mom will be making an appointment again soon. I understand how important tipping is as I work in a work place that's based off on tipping and a local here on Hawaii, but there could've been a better way or even a more professional way to have brought up that type of concern to us as we're understanding people. It was my mother's first time ever to go to a massage spa by herself (I sent her money to treat herself) and she enjoyed them. So as a family we were thinking about going there together. At first, I felt like it was very nice of them to check up on our mom which gave me more positive vibes from them yet they've disappointed us with their next text message. They just lost out on potential regular customers read more

Lanikai Beach Spa - Unprofessional text message , could've been a better or a more professional way to bring it up to us as we're understanding people. - Massage Therapy Near Me - Ewa Beach, Hawaii

The spa is very clean, delightful, and a wonderful place to relax. I brought my cousin with me for our first time at Lanikai Beach Spa to celebrate my cousin's graduation/birthday and Ning was very accommodating. Both Ning and Teresa are amazing! They focus on the areas that need attention the most, make sure the pressure is good, and make you feel comfortable all while trying to get to know you. Water is offered before and after the treatment and a restroom is available for use. Parking is right in front of the business and easy to find. I appreciate Ning and Theresa for their hospitality. I highly recommend Lanikai Beach Spa and I will for sure be coming back for more treatments! read more

Lanikai spa transcends the regular MediSpa experience! Here you will find a knowledgeable and kind owner named Ning who goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with the results you want! I've been doing laser hair removal treatments here and loved my end result. I also get facials here regularly, which are so relaxing and rejuvenating. I have also referred family members here where they have gotten massages and other skin care treatments and we've all been overly satisfied with our experiences and results always wanting to come back for more services! Shout out to Theresa who always makes me feel welcomed and comfortable whether she's doing my laser or my facials! Lanikai Spa is the best! read more

I cam in to get massage done couple weeks ago. May was my massage therapist, she was very helpful explaining everything. My neck and back feel much better after she was done. Highly recommend to request May. Amazing and super strong but non-uncomfortable pressure. read more

We got a couples massage using a Groupon! Not bad, hot stones were the highlight! But definitely have had better for the price. Good for people that like light pressure or looking for light stretching! read more

Lanikai Beach Spa is the best! I initially intended to accompany someone for a consultation, only to find out that there was a lot that this spa offers. I have tried the lash lift twice, and both experiences were great! The results just keep getting better and better, and also lasted longer than expected. No downtime needed, and very easy to maintain. It gives off a very natural vibe, but made my lashes look longer, fuller and more curled. This past weekend, I came in to avail of the Hydrafacial treatment, which was the newest addition to the the spa/clinic. It was my first time to try it out in my entire life, but I had no doubts about it since I trusted Ning completely. The treatment was painless and as a newbie to this, Ning walked me through all the steps to make sure that I was still aware of what was happening throughout the procedure. It was extremely satisfying how much cleaner my face looked and felt after the facial, and even days after. I'm definitely coming in for more sessions. I've lost count of how many times I have come in for a massage, just because I keep coming back to the spa for it. I have had both Ning and Mandy do my massage, and all experiences have been equally relaxing. They always ask to check if pressure is fine, and adjust it in the way that it has been requested. The beds and rooms they use are always clean, smell fresh and very spacious. My body always feels refreshed after I have my massage done. Ning, along with her staff, know their craft well and always do it perfectly. On top of that, they recommend the services they have that they believe will be the best fit for you. I believe it's rare nowadays to find people and businesses that seek to provide genuine care, rather than use clients for their gain. I would definitely recommend their spa for people looking for a way to treat themselves with ease and comfort. read more

This was my first time here, and my first massage since giving birth and I have to say, this massage was amazing! I cannot rave about this place enough. In the heart of Hoopili, this spa is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend getting a combination massage! I can't wait to go back and get another massage! read more

Just walked (!!) back home from a great massage at Lanikai Beach Spa! I am directionally challenged but the owner took the time to call me and help guide me to the location (on Festival Street) even though she is out recovering from surgery!! Theresa was excellent with the pressure and easy to talk to. I walked out feeling like a brand new person! Already excited to become a regular. :-) read more

Really great massage - I get a lot of massages for chronic neck and back pain and I am so impressed by the care and attention Ning gives to her clients. Mary is also great too. They both use a combination of techniques, including Thai stretches and shiatsu. Ning and Mary are very attentive to what specifically bothers you and are very friendly to boot. Very easy to make a reservation, just text. Scheduling is flexible and the venue itself is clean and home-like. Highly highly recommended! read more

Amazing lady who did my massage. I purchased the combo massage- deep/Thai massage and I got the results I wanted. She is so strong for someone so tiny. I enjoyed every minute of it. She uses essential oil. I also didn't know the massage came with hot stones so it did surprise me when she put it on me, but I love hot stones, so it made the massage 10 times better. The place is easy to find. It's a 4 story brown building next to panda. Inside is clean and small but cute. Will definitely be going there again! read more

This is a cute place that runs tons of specials! They currently have one on Groupon for a gel mani and spa pedicure. Check it out!

Please make sure to note when you use GPS, that they are now near the Kroc Center in Kapolei. (No longer in Honolulu. ) I want to reiterate everything my friend, Robin D, expressed so well. I took my boyfriend for a couple's massage as an anniversary present, based on Robin's personal referral. Although we have both had many massages, we had never experienced a couple's massage. It was very special sharing this sacred space together. I highly recommend you give you and your sweetheart this treat. Once you find it the first time, it is very easy to access. Plenty of free street parking. It's wonderful to visit a place that is located in a safe neighborhood and not in the busyness of town. The ambiance is beautiful. I loved their choice of music. Clearly, every little detail has been well thought out. Their pricing is fair and reasonable. If you are physically challenged and have trouble climbing stairs, just let them know as they have a massage room on the ground floor with an accessible bathroom. I am very allergic to scents of any kind. So, they accommodated us and used unscented coconut oil. The woman who worked on my boyfriend was especially skilled. (It would have been too deep for me.) She walked on his back and did really deep pressure, which he liked and needed. read more

I had received and amazing Facial by Keilia and will definitely be going back to her! My skin was super smooth and hydrated after the treatment. We had a good chat about products and after care. She is super sweet, knowledgable, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole service. 10/10 would recommend Keilia! read more

From the moment I entered the spa it was warm and welcoming. I was greeted outside of the door by Ning. The spa was warm, with soft music playing and essential oils burning. I had a 90 minute massage and it was absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend this spa an Ning is amazing. They are very kind and friendly people. Ever time I come to Honolulu I will stop in for a massage! read more

I love this place! Ning is amazing and hooked me up with an amazing massage with cupping. I feel fantastic! I also got a facial and, wow, I'm glowing like a Goddess! Lanikai Beach Spa - Amazing Hydrafacial! - Massage Therapy Near Me - Ewa Beach, Hawaii

My wife and mother-in-law was introduced to this place by a friend. They did a great job, very relaxing. Highly recommend!!

It's hard to write a critical review like this because Ning is very sweet and I love supporting small businesses. But I feel obligated to be honest so people know what to expect and I feel it will greatly help her as well to know what changes to make to avoid troubles with future clients who aren't as nice. I'll start off with the positive - I would highly recommend her for massages!! She has very good pressure for a petite woman and easily got out my knots and focused on problem areas. Massage I would say is definitely a 5/5! Now for the not so good.... she currently has Groupon specials going on right now for a gel mani/spa pedi. Unfortunately, even with the groupon price of $79, the service did not meet my expectations whatsoever. The pedicure is done in a normal chair with a warm water bucket in front of your feet. No spa jets or chair massage. The angle was a bit weird for me sitting straight up instead of reclined and I wasn't able to rest my feet but rather had to keep it propped at an awkward angle on the ottoman with a towel on top. There is a scented scrub applied and a little foot/calf massage with lotion, but really nothing worth raving about. I am also unsure of the reuse of tools as she didn't open anything new in front of me and the brush she used to clean with alcohol looked very used. She also doesn't scrub down your sole rough spots or heels. My toes were painted nicely, but I've received better pedicures with hot stones and paraffin wax add ons for a cheaper price. For the gel manicure, she doesn't place your hands in warm water and was conservative with the cuticle softener, so not much was done to my nails prior to putting on the gel polish. Hand massage was also not included. My nails are short to begin with so I get that may have made it a little harder, but nail application was mediocre. I like the color and how she recommended the shimmer but that's about it. Maybe I'm a little particular with expectations because I've gotten mani/pedis at several different places here in Hawaii and in Cali at various price ranges, but this unfortunately may have been one of the worse. We shall see how long they last and I will update my review based on that as well. All in all, it was a bittersweet experience because I loved the massage but was extremely disappointed in the mani/pedi. I would not recommend getting a mani/pedi here and only come for massages! read more

I had a mani/pedi w/Ning today. Ning is very nice in person. But, I didn't really have a great experienced, the chair is small for a bigger person like my size. The whole time she did my pedicure I'm not comfy cuz it's just a regular chair in a massage room. She do her manicure and pedicure in a small massage room. I paid $52 Groupon online and $46 more with her (including 18% tax). For the manicure she charged me $15 dollar more for this style and color. She charged me $10 to take off the gel color off my toe nails which I think it's a reasonable price to pay extra. But for the manicure I just feel too much but not really worth the price after all. Over all I paid $95.00. I've paid less than $95.00 but I had extra and professional pedicure spa. read more

I highly recommend this business for massages and manicures/pedicures! Ning - the owner is amazing with all three services that I've had with her. I went last month for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Both have lasted since with no chips. Today I went back for a 60 minute combo Thai/Lomi lomi massage. This is one of the best massages I've ever had and I've tried many. Her Thai techniques are extraordinary, the stretches she maneuvers my body thru eliminated all the tightness and produced instant relief and relaxation, I felt like I got a bonus chiropractic manipulation of my spine! Ning also uses hot stones and essential oils if you are inclined to receive those added benefits at no additional charge. She has free parking at her place - a four story walk up with elevators if needed, on King Street and Kalakaua (near Panda Express). Ning is very professional and responsive and easy to schedule appointments with. read more

Beware! Before you decide to purchase a Groupon make sure you contact this establishment! They do not honor the Groupon! We have tried to utilize a Groupon a few different times in the past year. Luckily we always called prior to making the Groupon purchase. Honestly if you are going to have a Groupon honor it. If not, then delete the groupon advertisement. The point is... if people buy the Groupon they will be stuck with it. Establishments like these deserve a zero star! Beware. read more

The owner is fantastic and is an amazingly skilled massage therapist. The pressure applied is perfect and the technique is very relaxing. I'm a very big guy and she could easily hurt me with how strong she is if she didn't know what she was doing but thankfully she really does and I fall asleep nearly every time from how relaxed I am. She keeps up on all her certifications and it shows so you know she's legit! I go there nearly every week and I never regret a single penny of it. This was a great hidden gem!! My wife and I had our first couples massage for our anniversary and everything was amazing. Ning (I hope I got her name right) was very welcoming from our first phone call, she followed up with texts and was always friendly and kind. I didn't get the second lady's name who helped me but she was very attentive to my pressure levels and attention areas. The room was nice, the music was calming and the temperature was comfortable. They even displayed our picture with a message and the cocktails were great. We plan to go back soon and have more routine visits. read more

I had an amazing massage by Ning . She was able to work out some tension I had in my shoulders . Cute, clean , simple studio . Would highly recommend you give her a try , you won't be disappointed. read more

I hesitated to write this review because Ning was so nice and personable. However, when my gel mani started to chip after 7 days and 3 were chipped by 10 days, I felt I really should write this review. 1) The space was tiny - room for a massage table and a regular chair for mani pedis. The term spa should never be used to describe this space. The chair was not a pedicure spa chair, but, rather a regular chair with a bucket in front to soak your feet. I had a groupon for the gel manicure and added the pedi and French polish. The total for these service (with groupon) came out to a little over $70. I can get the same services in Honolulu for around $60 with no groupon, and the gel would last a lot longer. All in all, a major disappointment. read more
