With over 20 years experience (including time as a trainer at one of the Oahu's top spas) she knows exactly how to get my skin healthy, balanced and hydrated. My friend treated me to a facial and massage for my birthday. I felt like a princess and my skin was glowing after we were done. LOCATION: Located in the Mililani Shopping Center near the First Hawaiian Bank. Mauka side of The Shack. SERVICE: It's a cute store. Their waiting area is clean. I walked in, they had me take my sandals off and placed my feet into a bowl while I waited. They rinsed off my feet and escorted me to the massage room. I got the lomilomi massage. It was soooo nice! I fell asleep towards the end. Shortly after, I put my robe back on and was escorted to the facial room. I was in even deeper relaxation mode. I'm pretty sure I snored. I woke up and didn't realize I was at the spa. My skin was so nice a glowing afterwards. COST: My friend treated me for my birthday (inquire with the shop) ATMOSPHERE: Their shop is located in a nice sound proof room. I literally fell deep asleep. Their shop is also clean and comfortable. Overall, this is a nice spot to go to, especially because its not located in the hustle and bustle area of town. Refresh Day Spa is located in Mililani Shopping Center across American Savings Bank. It's in a very small, but very effective space. The lobby/waiting area is comfy and has a clean, relaxing feel to it. I got a deep tissue massage from Kaui and it was pretty good. She made sure to pay special attention to my trouble areas and checked to see if the pressure was OK. While she massaged me, she played instrumental Hawaiian music. It sounded like I was at the airport, or in a local hotel lobby. I didn't mind it that much, but it just wasn't something I was used to. I had a facial from Suzy and cannot wait to return. She is so sweet and gentle. The music she played was really relaxing and was the typical kind of zen music you'd hear in a spa while getting a massage. She gave me a quick shoulder massage and when I was done, provided water and a few snacks to send me off. What I found really relaxing was also Suzy's voice. She has such a sweet and kind voice, the type that you would expect to sing a baby's lullaby. The service rates are very reasonable and I had a good experience overall. I am so happy that Mililani has an amazing spa now! I got the green sea peel and super happy with my results. I was skeptical at first because the last and only chemical peel I got ( from another spa) didn't have great end results. I am six days in and the results are amazing! It softened my skin and even cleared up deep wrinkles that I developed from being a side sleeper. Julie did my peel and was very informative and thoroughly explained the process as well as post care.
