In the plan Dr. James Okamoto put together, I received 32 units of Botox and a bit of Juvaderm in my lips. My crows feet are smoothed out, my frown lines are gone, and my brows are lifted. I am loving the arches, all it took was a bit a Botox! In my younger years I had fuller lips, and with age I had lost them until I had gotten some Juvaderm. I expressed to Dr. James Okamoto how I had always wanted a "cupids bow" and he made it happen. He is incredible! *will add before and after picture if this allows to later* Esther is incredibly kind and super helpful when to comes to skincare! I later learned they go over your face twice deuring an appointment. They didn't for most of my appointments except the last one. When I asked Esther, she gave a flimsy excuse. So 90% of my treatments were incomplete. They took a "Before" photo but not an After. Why? Because Pico didn't improve my scars at all, so there wasn't enough dramatic improvement to sell this service. A year or two later, I got sucked into a second treatment series when Esther exclaimed how my skin looked "so improved!" Again a Before photo but no after one, because there wasn't any improvement. In the last year I noticed this aesthetic clinic was no longer pushing Pico. When I asked Esther about it, she couldn't look me in the eye when she said "they weren't offering that service right now" and the "Pico machine was being serviced." But for a year or thereabouts? Pico might work for tattoo removal or for rejuvenating good skin with no acne scars. But it never worked for me, and no After photos were taken because again I didn't get the desired dramatic results which would help sell this service. The fact that this aesthetic clinic is not offering Pico speaks volumes.

i have been going to kbeautylab regularly for the past 5 months and have completed several…read moredifferent txs and wanted to write about my experiences. long review ahead! kbeautylab signature facial - this is a great intro facial to do to get a feel for the place and familiarize yourself with the process. the massage is amazing, i had so much tension in my neck and shoulders and afterwards i left relaxed and calm. potenza - ive done this twice and its a long appt due to the numbing cream sitting on your face for 20-40min. before the numbing cream though you get a thorough facial, neck, and chest massage. my absolute favorite parts are some sort of electromagnetic wand along the neck and shoulders. it does not hurt at all but wow it makes me twitch hella crazy and makes me laugh lol cuz i bet i look ridiculous! the first time i did the potenza tx did not hurt at all but the second time it felt like a bad sunburn that kept being poked. i especially love how they end the appt with an ice/cold wand. it settles the skin really well, very soothing. so 2 sessions and i can def tell a difference in my acne scarring, my face is smoother, the skin scanner says my face is brighter and my collagen levels have improved. pico - i did an add on tx in february for some dark melasma/hyper pigmentation that has developed around my eyes last year. there are several spots maybe pinky finger tip size that im very self conscious about. it was rec to spot tx it. so i got 4 of them done and had to wear a silicone bandage for 10 days. i did have to replace them all by day 5 but they gave me extras which was really nice of them. i will say though i was at first disappointed because it seemed like they got even darker! when i went back a month later for my second potenza i talked to them about it and they told me its normal and it will lighten up, just give it time, trust the process. and guess what? IT DID! when i went back in may (so 3 months in between) and did another face scan, there was a noticeable difference! i think it actually got much better by april, from a dark brown to like a beige (i'm fair skinned hapa). i just had to be PATIENT, religiously wear SPF and reapply every 2 hours (use a stick which is much easier on the go), and be CONSISTENT with skincare (i added vitamin C along with azelaic acid in mornings and tret at night). it's def not a quick fix, it's a long haul and it's totally up to you to take care of it post op so i'd like to think results may vary and so far mines going well! skin stamp - apparently this tx is suppose to be the most painful but i didn't feel a thing?! i got a massage, electro wand, facial, numbing for 30min and went to town with the stamping but i felt nothing! chloe (?) was very surprised and said i must have a high pain tolerance which i dont agree with, im a baby with pain haha. another ice wand and then i left with a collagen mask that she told me to try and keep on for several hours and then moisturize before bed. i literally just got this done today so hopefully i see some good results! all in all, i really enjoy the lab and look forward to every monthly (my choice) tx. i'm very happy with my results and i have rec several friends to try it out. best part is that it's in my neighborhood ho'opili, so convenient, no need drive to town!

Although nice, the lady spent less than five minutes going over the consultation and didn't really explain anything other than to let me know to use sunscreen, take vitamin C and collagen and suggested anti aging addition to my facial (which I got) and pico laser if I come back (wasn't explained why). When I mentioned I made a last minute appointment she made a comment "oh you're the one." It kind of put me off a bit. I have to say though the facial was divine. I've had many facials in the past and it's been a while. My face was in dire need. The facial was so heavenly and my face felt soft, moisturized and clean and lasted for days. The massage was divine and left the place in a daze from being so relaxed. There is room sharing with another customer but she left shortly after I started. The sight, smell, and sound of the spa immediately draws you in. After settling in, I had the most amazing Salt Facial at Honolulu Spa & Wellness with the owner. I do not get facials regularly because I tend to leave the salon with sensitive skin that's all blotchy and red from the chemicals that were used. But getting a Salt Facial is so much different! No chemicals were used and the results were amazing. The salt used is a natural antibacterial and antimicrobial agent so my skin was not irritated one bit in the process. I learned this is one of the few places offering this service, so definitely take advantage of them having this service. The procedure started by cleansing my face and neck first. Then the Salt Facial followed with her using a wand that used all natural sea salt resurfacing to prep my skin for the next stages. I thought it was going to hurt for some reason , but it didn't at all and just felt like a deep exfoliation. I then had an aesthetic ultrasound to nourish and increase circulation of my skin, which helped whatever she used to get deeper into my skin. The next step was where I could really feel the treatment doing its job, and that was the LED light therapy! I did that for a couple of minutes and could feel my skin getting its natural glow back. The last part of my experience here was a hydrating face mask that I didn't even know I needed. The whole process felt so fast but gave such great results. My skin feels brighter and tighter, especially around my under-eye and cheeks where I felt like my skin was sagging a bit. I could just feel my skin was softer and had reduced the bumpiness in some areas that were affected by acne in the past. She then applied a serum of antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. The final application was sunscreen. As a follow up, I came in for the Scultural Face Lift with Buccal Massage. This included lymphatic drainage (behind your ears) and microcirculation of my shoulders, neck, and jaw area. This place is located in a strip mall area by Time's Waipahu across of Festival Market. I was greeted by my massage therapist, Lulu, who happened to be hanging out near the entrance when I arrived. I told her why I needed a massage and asked her to specifically work in my upper trap area. The room is not your "glamorous spa" type of room, yet it gave peaceful vibes with the large massage table and sheets. Lulu's pressure was firm and you could tell she was using her entire body to provide me the pressure I asked for. She demonstrated amazing soft tissue massage techniques throughout and even gently mobilized some of my joints. To be quite honest, it was hard for me to relax here, but I came here for a therapeutic massage that can target the tight areas of my body not for a "relaxing spa day." Lulu continuously asked me throughout the session if her pressure was too hard or if I was in pain and made adjustments as needed. My massage also included hot stones, which I was not expecting but I was not opposed to.
