I only got a smoothie so can't speak to the bowls or juices, but I really liked that all of the ingredients were fresh and no added junk to increase the sugar content. The only issue I had was with their hours... online and on the door it showed they open at 8am, so the second day I visited slightly after 8 and I was surprised to find they had changed their hours in the window to 10am. See a juice bar, go to the juice bar -- at least, that's what they say, right? On my mid-day study break, I took a walk around the neighborhood and stumbled upon D's, which was open! I love juice, and thought this would be a great little boost to get me through the rest of the day. The place was empty when I walked in, aside from one staff member sitting at a table in the corner. I headed straight to the board to take a look at the offerings. I stood at the counter looking around for at least 5 minutes until a staff member in the back alerted the staff member sitting at the table. After some internal conversation, one of the staff members approached the counter and asked for my order. I didn't find this to be incredibly professional. Before ordering, I wanted to ask how large the servings were and if they could make any substitutions. I wasn't dazzled by the staff member's lackadaisical attitude and curt responses. To me, that expresses that me ordering is inconveniencing them. At the end of the day, I settled for a purple passion smoothie. I asked for a little extra ice and was glad that they were able to accommodate my request. The smoothie tasted alright. Perhaps the establishment had an off day, and I'm sure the environment would be more exciting without a pandemic because the interior is bright and inviting. I believe in second chances, and if I were to return, I might try one of their raw juices. Hoping for a better experience next time! read more

Yummy yummy in my tummy~~~ All the fruit made the açaí bowl my go to at this spot. Just looking at it is *mouth watering*. I especially liked how the hemp seeds contrasted with the flavor of the granola and honey. It was a very clean interior and D has some of the best costumer service around town. Came here this morning and spent 30 dollars on 3 juices and an infused water. Cashier handed us pre packaged bottles and I was so confused. Got to the car and they tasted weird as fuck. Later on we noticed stickers that read "9/12". It's damn near October. I Will never be back. Plenty of other juice spots that are fresh and cheaper. Y'all really trippin. read more

As a Black person from Oakland--a historically black city that--like Balt--has experienced mass displacement and gentrification, the fact that Baltimore city still got a seemingly significant number of Black folk running/patronizing businesses out here and y'all are serving unstrained/old ass juice and infused water (dated 9/12) to Black people in the midst of a pandemic priced at 8 dollars for maybe 16 oz...y'all...that's not okay. The date of when anything was made/juiced should not only be labeled on the products but be explicitly named to customers by y'all. The water was the only product with a date stickered on it; fortunately enough, or else I would not have been sure about what I now know for certain is true cuz the juices my partner and I bought were nasty as hell and of course this is due to the fact that they were old as hell. That's not only incredibly insulting it's wholly negligent. I will be coming back tomorrow to have a conversation. read more

I got the yummy bowl and back at it juice and they were both terrible. I waited for 20 mins and the order of the person behind me was prepared first. As you can see the bowl was melted after 10 mins and did not taste good at all. It was watery and did not have enough açaí in it. The juice also tasted terrible like it had peel in it. Sooo excited to finally have a juice bar near the hospital! I got the morning delight smoothie and my friend got the kickstarter juice after a workout nearby. Owner was on the premise and super friendly. Not a super fancy place but has cute chairs and a nice mural on the wall. They have a variety of juices, smoothies, and bowls. I stopped by for the first time and ordered a large smoothie. The taste was good but it was a bit concerning to not see the smoothie being made by someone wearing gloves. The person was bare handed and seemed unsore of what ingredients to add or how much of each. The large smoothie was also overpriced, coming in around $9.00. If they would use some disposable gloves when making the smoothie I may go back. If they do that and lower the price I would certainly go back. read more

BUT The açaí bowl was way tooooooooooo watery and way overpriced. I've been here 3 times and each time the açaí bowl was watery, could practically drink it. I love açai bowls, and want to give this place a try. Unfortunately this one did not make the cut. The açai was very watery, the fruit did not pop like it usually does in other bowls that I've had. The granola was extremely soggy. Overall it tasted very underwhelming. Firstly, I wasnt even acknowledged when I walked in, stood at the register for about 5 minutes before I finally received some attention. I ordered and Açaí bowl which wasn't given to be in the standard bowl, but in a smaller bowl so I was given a smaller amount of ingredients. The bowl was really watery and tasteless. I was expecting more for a $12 dollar açaí bowl when i can get a better one from Pure Raw Juice for a cheaper price. I could even eat the whole thing because my ingredients were soggy from the excess water. I really want to like this place because I believe it is black owned, but those bowls are very low quality. I really want to love this place. Like really...I work steps away and love to come grab a quick smoothie as a midday treat. I came in when they first opened and loved it! The smoothie and the service was amazing! I believe the owner was working. She was super sweet and professional. I went back to the office raving how everyone should give them a try. Unfortunately, I've been back about 3 times since then. These visits weren't as pleasant. Customer service was subpar. The employees almost seem like you're bothering them. Not a very welcoming experience. During my visit today there was a lack of enthusiasm upon entrance into the business. The employee behind the counter was seemingly cleaning which I can appreciate but, she didn't offer any help or make any welcoming comments to see if I needed any help.
