Thought we're black my neighbor was a football player because the neighborhood we live in. Told my husband "you're not a dummy". Confided to this person about a prior bad experience and used it to his advantage. I see other good reviews but my experience was awful. First on the job he said his guy was sick. Left town for a day I was expecting him to show up. Said he was in Tahoe. I don't care what ethic you are everyone home should be treated the same way. To top it off he spit in my toilet didn't flush. Food droppings on the floor I saw more cans of soda and McDonalds bags than any work being done. Red flags I ignored them because the person seem nice weeks later I'm finding different things that I now how to get fixed. I was beyond understanding with delays on completely too advantage of - Just be careful out there especially for larger job. Do your homework and allow yourself to investigate. He probably will say they don't know or whatnot it's expected when you have a bad review. Feel free to contact me I'm open to sharing all that happen.I need to make this public just in case. I was very upset and a bit fearful after threatening to sue & a lien and 5000 was never discussed through the entire conversation or email. . I worked all my life to get my home as a single more and unfortunate this happened. I believe and knew that this industry was like this and the manipulation that people go through to target folks for no reason. I was only try to be diligent with money I received from insurance to get my home back together. I hope this helps someone. However it's your choice. I suffer with anxiety I been able to sleep or rest since December. I'm not sure if these contractor realize the damage they cause mentally. If you're not skilled just say so to avoid problems & to keep clients. Honestly is key. lien and sue after falsifying license#. After I shared with him what experience- he used that. He use my neighbor water and told her not tell me. He seem very nice & professional but that changed. Honestly if he could not do the entire job he should have said so. I didn't bother to check his license until the end after the job was over. You can believe him if you like. He was paid 2500 through Zelle to his personal name not business on the contract that same day. Then he said I was the reason he couldn't make his trip. Neither one of these contractor are licensed and are shady. All I'm saying do your homework and then make a decision. I was naive and vulnerable. I think I have learned my lesson. If they are not licensed they can only do 500 Jobs, so be sure to check license # on contract. Some will use others, be careful was under a previous name Gadway's Finest Finishes.

We decided to do a full house renovation and got quotes from many construction companies. We met…read morewith Ghasem from GMG last and really liked his quote. It was not the lowest, but it was very reasonable (after hearing many other quotes). Before signing the contract, we asked a lot of questions, and Ghasem patiently responded to all of them. Given the amount involved in the project, we were very worried about the authenticity of GMG construction. So, we asked Ghasem to visit three of his previous worksites where we chatted with the homeowners. All of them gave very positive feedback. We also visited Ghasem's own house multiple times, where he was adding a room. We were able to see the progress he made throughout. This gave us a lot of confidence. Ghasem promised that our project would be completed in 6 months, though he might be able to do it in 4 months. This was due to permit delays and other weather-related delays. But as promised, Ghasem completed it in 4 months. Everyone I met in between said they were cheated by their contractors and that we didn't know what we were getting into, but Ghasem totally had our back. He ensured he took care of everything. As a matter of fact, we were going through pregnancy, and we didn't have any stress related to this, thanks to him. Ghasem listened to us throughout and if we were unhappy with anything, he made sure he rectified it as quickly as possible. We kept adding things to the contract, and Ghasem was very flexible as the project progressed. The amount we signed up for, never changed. No extra hidden extra costs. Even after moving in, we had a few touch-ups, and Ghasem made sure everything got fixed. Overall, we couldn't have gone with a better contractor. We recommended GMG to some of our friends who didn't go with GMG due to a 2k-5k price difference, but in the end, they felt they should have gone with GMG, given our experience, as the other cheaper contractors delayed the project so much, ballooning up the cost anyway. Note: Please also read the "Yelp not recommended" reviews. There are a bunch of good reviews there that people miss as Yelp hides them.
